Why didn't they explain that? Despite the confusion, the food was cooked carefully over charcoal, the miso soup was delicious, and the brown rice was tasty. Overall, it was satisfying, except for the touch screen mishap!

On this day in November 2020, I was strolling around Senri-Chuo. While wandering around, I visited a newly opened restaurant in the restaurant area inside LABI Senri. It seems to be open continuously without a break for lunch. It was a bit late for lunch, and I came here for a specific reason. They offer draft beer for only 150 yen, which is a great deal. You can order as many as you want as long as you order a set meal. So, I decided to enjoy some delicious grilled fish with a couple of glasses of beer. I placed my order using the self-ordering touch panel on the table. I ordered the horse mackerel set meal for 680 yen and two glasses of draft beer for 150 yen each. The beer arrived first, so I quenched my thirst while waiting for the grilled fish to be ready. When it arrived, the grilled horse mackerel looked delicious, perfectly cooked over charcoal. It's not easy to replicate this at home, and buying pre-cooked grilled fish just isn't the same as freshly grilled. With the affordable beer and tasty grilled fish, I was completely satisfied. It was a great meal.

You can often see this in front of train stations in Kanto, but this is their first store in Kansai. The menu is the same for both lunch and dinner. It doesn't come with small side dishes. It includes dried fish, rice, miso soup, and pickles. It's a touch panel system. The Hokke fish is fluffy and cooked nicely. It's not that big, so one fish would have been enough. The miso soup has a little bit of seaweed and fried tofu for the portion. The sample looked like it had a lot of ingredients, but it's not enough, so I added the ginger grilled meat. It's cooked on an iron plate and even the regular serving is a sufficient amount. If you like dried fish, this place is good. They only accept cash.

I was wondering when they would come to Osaka, but they suddenly opened in Hakata without stopping in Osaka, but finally they have arrived in Osaka. Shinpachi Shokudo. They have opened on the 4th floor restaurant floor of Yamada Denki in Senri Chuo. There are samples lined up in a row. In Tokyo, there are many restaurants like Yoshinoya with a counter in the shape of a "コ", but this is a large restaurant with even tatami seating. There is a touch panel in front of the seats. You can enjoy the beer along with side dishes and set meals. The popular Salmon Harasu set meal is 760 yen. They are particular about the rice and dashi, which is why it is popular in Tokyo. In Osaka, the rice and miso soup are also delicious. The Salmon Harasu is juicy and delicious. It's not just grilled fish, they also have meat dishes. Katsudon for 680 yen, Pork Ginger for 680 yen, Beef Grilled Set Meal for 780 yen, Pork Shoulder Roast Set Meal for 780 yen, and more. I also tried the Chicken Ginger Set Meal with brown rice. It's delicious. I ordered the Pork Cutlet as a side dish for 480 yen. It's thick and satisfying. Unfortunately, they only have draft beer as alcohol options for now, but I hope they will have shochu and izakaya menu items like the Fukuoka PARCO store in the future.

Ordered the sesame-flavored horse mackerel set meal. It was a bit troublesome to deal with the bones, but the taste was good. I made a mistake changing to brown rice instead of white rice. It was a bit too moist or soft. My friend who came with me said the white rice was delicious! The staff seemed like they were still getting used to the job, but they were trying their best.

It was quiet on a weekday night, allowing for a relaxing dining experience. The service was good, and ordering was done through a touchpad system similar to an izakaya. I ordered the Salmon Harasu set meal with regular rice for 924 yen. The meal included rice, miso soup, and mountain vegetables. The Salmon Harasu was quite large and came with grated daikon, which was a nice touch. The rice was especially delicious, fluffy and flavorful.
