I went to Shinjuku Yokocho for a cup of tea and was amazed by the charming menu. They had cute smiling faces on dishes like tamagokake gohan (egg over rice), oyakodon (chicken and egg bowl), yakitori, karaage, and even a set with ikura topping. I chose the set with locally sourced Boso eggs for tamagokake gohan and oyakodon. The set had three options for tamagokake gohan, and you could even get a free refill. The first serving of tamagokake gohan was a double portion with rich egg yolk. They grated a ball-like mixture of egg yolk for dipping. It looked like cheese and they sprayed soy sauce on it, making it look like a smiling face with a tan. The second serving was made with fluffy egg whites whipped into meringue. I tried a bit of everything, and it was all delicious. My husband finished his meal completely, which was no surprise. I couldn't eat the tomato dish, but it came with a tasty basil sauce. The service was polite and the restaurant was lovely.

Overflowing ikura (salmon roe) TKG set meal (with condiments and chicken soup) for 1980 yen. Located in Shinjuku East Exit, this place has 6 shops in the same area like a food court. Nonotori is a shop specializing in yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) and TKG. I ordered the TKG with plenty of ikura on top. The ikura was glossy, plump, and had a good texture. I mixed in the cute egg yolk halfway through to make a rich ikura TKG. This dish is irresistible for ikura lovers. It's also nice that it comes with four different side dishes. The menu my friend ordered, which was fluffy egg white over rice, also looked delicious.

"Yanotori," a popular yakitori restaurant from Kansai, opened in January 2022, just a 1-minute walk from Shinjuku Station. They serve yakitori made with local chicken from Hyogo Prefecture and brand-name chicken, cooked to perfection using Kishu Binchotan charcoal and a secret sauce passed down for 30 years. During a visit for lunch in Shinjuku Sanchome while accompanying my mother on a shopping trip, I ordered the most popular dish, the ultimate parent-child bowl (TKG) with fresh Hinata eggs, along with a parent-child bowl and other dishes. The meal included: - Ultimate parent-child bowl TKG - Choice of TKG (with one refill allowed) - Ikura side dish - Yakitori (special tsukune, negima) - Grilled vegetable skewers - Fried chicken wings - Chicken soup simmered for 8 hours - 3 kinds of delicacies (changja, shiso kombu, umesuisho) A luxurious yakitori lunch indeed! The egg yolk with a cute smiling face was delightful. The parent-child bowl featured juicy chicken mixed with a savory dashi and creamy egg, which I devoured. For the TKG, I opted for a double egg yolk for extra richness! A staff member then came over and sprinkled 'Tamasumi,' a salted and dried egg yolk aged for about 2 weeks, on top of the TKG. This added a perfect touch of saltiness, enhancing the simple TKG with exquisite flavor. The yakitori came with mustard for the tsukune, mint for the thigh, and Genovese sauce for the tomato, showcasing the restaurant's dedication to quality toppings. The soup was rich and delicious, and the three kinds of delicacies added variety to the TKG experience. Even my mother in her 70s, who initially doubted she could finish the meal, ended up eating everything, much to my surprise. She especially enjoyed the cute face on the TKG. It was a delightful meal! Thank you!"

It's a restaurant specializing in eggs and chicken (lunch). For lunch, you can eat plenty of egg over rice. Due to the nature of the menu, you might find the eggs a bit overwhelming. However, the concept is interesting and the taste is not bad. It might be recommended when you're in the mood for eggs.

When we made a reservation for four people, we were seated at the counter seats. It was a bit disappointing, but maybe it's due to the system of Tabelog. We ordered beer, wine, and yakitori to lift our spirits. We were informed that yakitori orders come in sets of five or more, so we couldn't try as many different dishes as we wanted. Even though we got quite full from just the yakitori, each skewer was juicy and delicious. I recommend this place for those who want to eat heartily in a small group. I will definitely visit again!

【Nonotori】Popular yakitori restaurant in Kansai that is a hot topic on Shinjuku TV! 【Impression】Hello, it's Gourmania! I've been getting into alleyway-style eateries recently and when I heard about Shinjuku Yokocho, I couldn't resist visiting! Located inside a building, this place has 6 popular eateries serving sushi, beef tongue, yakitori, gyoza, and more. The cute parent and child bowl served for lunch at "KOBE YAKITORI STAND Nonotori" caught my eye and I had to visit. They offer Hyogo's local chicken such as "Hyogo Aji-dori/Tamba Kuro-dori" and brand chicken like "Harima Hyakunichi-dori/Tamba Akad-dori", so my expectations were high. I was at a loss on what to order, so I started with the Assorted 7 Skewers. When it arrived, I was amazed by how beautiful it looked! The visual presentation was outstanding! The yakitori was incredibly delicious when eaten warm! The texture of the Kimo (chicken liver) was fantastic, and the Sansho pepper on top was exceptional! I was blown away by the flavors! The yakitori was all so tender and delicious! The vegetables were juicy, and the sauces paired well with them, making it all very enjoyable! The yakitori plate had bumps and hollows, preventing the sauce from dripping down, which was great! The Flavored Egg with Salmon Roe was just amazing! You can tell from the picture how great it was! The saltiness of the salmon roe and the egg were a perfect match! The Potato Salad and Prosciutto Millefeuille, isn't it beautiful? It was incredibly delicious! And the fact that the potato salad and prosciutto were layered on top of each other was just fantastic! I'm curious about the parent and child bowl for lunch and other eateries too! I have to visit Shinjuku Yokocho again! It seems like the place is quite empty on rainy days, so it's definitely worth a visit! I've started posting more detailed photos and text on my blog that I couldn't include here! Please take a look!

A super popular yakitori restaurant from Kansai has finally opened in Shinjuku ❤️ The yakitori made with local chicken from Hyogo prefecture and brand-name chicken was thick and juicy, so delicious! The carefully selected chickens, grilled to perfection, were juicy and flavorful, coated in a secret sauce that has been passed down for 30 years. It's located where MARUGO used to be, near Shinjuku's east exit towards Kabukicho. Inside, there are about 5 shops, creating a welcoming atmosphere for solo diners. I went on a weekday for lunch and saw several solo diners, making it easy to visit alone. I had the Tamago Kake Gohan (egg over rice) and Oyako Don (chicken and egg rice bowl) set for 2000 yen. The fluffy egg over rice was light and airy, while the Oyako Don had a surprising punch of flavor with plenty of chicken. It was so delicious and filling, with a generous amount of chicken that made me wonder if they put too much. The Oyako Don was flavorful and had a nice texture, making it a balanced set. I was stuffed by the end! I hesitated at the 2000 yen price for egg over rice, but with the addition of yakitori that was also delicious, it was worth it for those who want a hearty meal. There were subtle accompaniments like umeshu (plum wine) and kimchi, which complemented the flavors of the Tamago Kake Gohan nicely.

I went to "KOBE YAKITORI STAND Nodotori Shinjuku Store" in Shinjuku Yokocho in Shinjuku! I had the popular menu items, the locally sourced Boshu eggs over rice and oyakodon. The cute egg over rice with a smiley face arrived - almost too cute to eat! I also enjoyed the delicious yakitori they had.

I went around 12:00 on a weekday and there were about 3 groups waiting. After waiting for about 20 minutes, I was seated at the counter. I decided to try the popular egg over rice with fluffy eggs. It was delicious, but it felt like I was eating mostly air, so I didn't feel like I was really eating. However, being a yakitori restaurant, the skewers that came with it were also delicious!

I visited a popular yakitori restaurant called Kishu Binchocharcoal in Shinjuku Yokocho last year. They specialize in grilling Hyogo local chicken and brand-name chicken. I went during lunchtime (11:00-15:00) and tried their famous TKG dishes. You can choose from Simple TKG, Fluffy Airy TKG, or Double Egg Yolk Rich (with the option to add cod roe on the eggs). I chose the Simple TKG and the Double Egg Yolk Rich made with fresh eggs from Boso. Even though I don't usually eat much rice, the dishes were so delicious that I finished both servings easily. The yakitori dishes also come with various toppings, allowing you to enjoy different combinations.

You can choose from 3 types of oyakodon (chicken and egg rice bowl) for lunch, and you can have up to 2 refills! Plus, you can choose the type of oyakodon you want, whether it's the regular version, the fluffy white egg version (pictured first), or the egg yolk-rich version (pictured fifth). The soup, which was also delicious, had a lot of attention to detail. Overall, it was very satisfying. We lined up with 3 other groups after 12 pm on a holiday, but you can make reservations online for dinner. The order was the oyakodon made with fresh eggs from Hanyu (including tax, 1,200 yen). Some highlights include being able to choose your oyakodon, having the option for refills, and the fact that this popular Kansai yakitori restaurant has opened in Shinjuku. The downside is that it's a popular spot, and if you sit at the counter, you might not be able to relax too much. I got lost coming from the underground, so I recommend going from the east exit on the ground level.
- Utilization: Lunch on holidays, no reservation
- Atmosphere: Counter seats, table seats
- Many women customers

During lunchtime, you can also order from the dinner menu. However, it took over 40 minutes for the food to come out. The TKG soy sauce was brought out when I had finished eating, and the karasumi was almost forgotten. The service was a bit messy, but the staff were trying their best, so I decided not to mind. Thank you for the meal.

I went for a quick drink at KOBEYAKITORI STAND Nonotori in Shinjuku. This place is located in Shinjuku Yokocho and offers Hyogo Prefecture's local chicken dishes such as Hyogo Aged Chicken and Hyogo Flavor Chicken. We tried a platter of 5 types of yakitori and 2 types of vegetable skewers. The skewers, cooked over Kishu Binchotan charcoal, were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The liver skewer was especially delicious, with a large portion and a perfect balance of saltiness. It's no wonder this place is so popular. They also serve dishes like tamagokake gohan (egg over rice) and oyakodon (chicken and egg bowl) for lunch, which sounds intriguing as well.

Zucchini Mini Tomato, each ¥280. Last year, a new yakitori restaurant opened in Shinjuku Yokocho, one corner of the third block. This alley is always crowded. The appetizer is a salted cheesecake-like dish with muscat and prosciutto. The Uni-Q bird version came first with a sprinkle of soy sauce powder like furikake, which was delicious. You can compare the taste of two types of local chicken sashimi. The skewer platter included 5 pieces of chicken and 2 vegetable skewers with zucchini, tomato, plum, shiso, chicken breast, liver, and heart. I ordered the special tsukune platter, but I also wanted to try other items next time, like daikon, oden, and cheese special. The daikon and cheese daikon burger-like dish with 2 slices of daikon and cheese was interesting. I wish I could have taken better pictures, as my iPhone 14 sometimes doesn't focus properly. The lunch menu seems to be popular too, so I will come back again.

When you look at the menu, you can enjoy both raw local eggs over rice and chicken and egg bowl ❤️ Wait, you can have both egg over rice and chicken and egg bowl in one meal? That's amazing! Plus, you can have unlimited refills of egg over rice with a choice of three types: normal, fluffy with whipped egg whites, or double yolk with egg yolk coating on top of rice. The meal also includes yakitori, fried chicken, and soup for a price that will definitely fill you up. The double yolk version is so luxurious and rich, with a performance of shaving salted egg yolk on top called "Tamago Sumi". The dish is served beautifully and looks delicious and cute ❤️❤️ The double yolk is so rich and indulgent, enveloping the rice in a thick egg yolk sauce, enhanced by the salty Tamago Sumi. The combination of flavors is so luxurious and delicious. The chicken and egg bowl is made with charcoal-grilled chicken and a fluffy egg topping, with a generous amount of egg yolk. This is a truly indulgent meal that allows you to enjoy two different bowls at once. You can even have it refilled three times to enjoy different flavors. The meal also includes special chicken meatballs, green onion skewers, and grilled tomato, all served with a salt-based chicken broth soup. The meatballs are moist and tender, the green onion skewers are juicy and full of chicken flavor, and the grilled tomato is sweet and flavorful. The fried chicken is crispy and delicious, and the soup adds a nice touch to the meal. The value for money at this restaurant is incredible, providing a variety of flavors and excellent service.

Hello everyone, it's ZMA. Today, I want to introduce a popular restaurant that has been gaining attention lately. Let's visit "KOBE YAKITORI STAND Nono Tori Shinjuku" in Shinjuku San-chome. I'm going to have oyakodon for lunch today. They offer a TKG (tamago kake gohan) with fresh local eggs and oyakodon for ¥2000. You can even get a refill of TKG, with three options to choose from. My recommendation is the "double egg yolk rich" option. The dishes have arrived! The oyakodon looks delicious with a cute nori seaweed smiley face and various side dishes. Let's try the oyakodon. The fluffy egg and the perfect balance of dashi broth create a delightful flavor. How about the TKG? The combination of egg and ikura (salmon roe) creates a satisfying burst of flavors in your mouth. It feels like a cheat code to have ikura with the egg. The refill of TKG was also tasty, and the yakitori side dishes were a nice addition to the meal. If you can't decide between oyakodon and TKG, this lunch menu is perfect for you. If you're ever in Shinjuku and looking for a lunch spot, give this place a try. See you next time!

I visited the restaurant after seeing it on a muscle YouTuber's channel. I thought it was a bit pricey, over 2,000 yen for lunch, but since it was filled with chicken and eggs, I chose the set with egg over rice and oyakodon. The egg over rice had three options to choose from, and I regret choosing the meringue one, it didn't need to be meringue. The oyakodon was delicious and the skewers were all tasty. In terms of cost performance, it's a bit questionable, but it might be worth it for a fancy lunch once in a while. However, I noticed that I was the only man in the restaurant. It was all women.

【KOBE YAKITORI STAND Nono Tori Shinjuku】
The brand eggs 【Harima Local Eggs】 are born from chickens raised in the natural and abundant area of "Kitaharima" in Hyogo Prefecture. The biggest feature is the 【lack of off-flavors】 due to the emphasis on feed. The most popular way to enjoy the simple eggs is with the Harima Local Eggs over rice and oyakodon. The ultimate oyakodon, customizable TKG (3 types), ikura small dish, yakitori (special tsukune, negima), grilled vegetable skewers, mini fried chicken, 8-hour simmered chicken soup, and 3 types of delicacies make for a luxurious lunch! The oyakodon and TKG alone are amazing...! You can choose from 3 types of TKG: Simple TKG, Fluffy Airy TKG, and Double Egg Yolk Rich. The appearance is cute with faces on the eggs, and you can enjoy a luxurious touch by adding Tamagoyaki instead of Karasumi on top of the eggs! It's an irresistible treat for egg lovers! And the best part is that you can have a free refill of TKG, which is great for those who want to try various options! So, I had a refill of the Airy TKG, and it was too fluffy! Since the taste is light, it's recommended to add plenty of soy sauce when eating! ★Ordered items: Harima Local Eggs over rice and oyakodon for 2000 yen.

I visited a shop in Shinjuku that I was curious about. This time, I tried the "Directly Sourced Boshu Local Eggs Tamagokake Gohan and Oyakodon." For the egg over rice, you can choose from three types: "Simple TKG," "Fluffy Airy TKG," and "Double Egg Yolk Rich." I chose the one with the best appearance, the "Double Egg Yolk Rich." When the dish arrived, the cute appearance caught my eye first. The egg over rice is completed when the staff sprinkles "Tamasumi," which is egg karasumi, on top. This presentation is wonderful. The meat in the Oyakodon was large and tender, very satisfying. The egg over rice already had the yolk mixed with the rice, so it had a slightly mushy texture (which is understandable). Unfortunately, by the time I got to eat the egg over rice, yakitori, and karaage, they had cooled down a bit, so I missed out on the hot and fresh experience. The shop seemed popular on social media, and there were many young customers. Thank you for the meal.
