I went to Mr. Pierre's restaurant in Shinchi. The show starts as soon as the reserved customers enter at 20:30. There were some surprising magic tricks, and it was impressive to see Mr. Pierre up close. If only the talk was a bit more lively... that's how I felt. But I could understand that it's because of Mr. Pierre's shy side. It was fun.

It was my first visit to celebrate my husband's 69th birthday. I had always longed to have magic performed just for me, and it felt like such a luxurious treat. The atmosphere of the restaurant and the charming Pierre created a separate world. Despite the short timing due to COVID-19 restrictions, we were still able to enjoy some drinks. And of course, the magic was incredible, just as I had imagined. Even the couple next to us, who were leaning in closely and staring intently, couldn't figure it out. Pierre's skills, experience, and effortless conversation were truly impressive. In these tough times, I believe in the power of magic to help us overcome. It was a wonderful experience at this fantastic restaurant where we were enchanted by a moment of magic.

Over 20 years ago, I was taken to VERNON'S BAR. I'm not sure if I saw Monsieur Pierre, who is from there, at that time, and now I can't remember. Later, he opened his own place in the Parmarii Building on Dojima. This building has many second-floor shops, but there are also places that you can access from the first floor, and by chance, there are many wine-related shops. Italian Leone, Yakiniku and Wine, Omi Beef Yakiniku Jiro, Kappo Ukamuse, Wine Bar Jardino, Oden Manekiko are located on the 4th floor. According to the restaurant's website, there are 4 showtimes per day. You need to request one of the time slots when making a reservation. 1) Doors open at 18:30, show starts at 19:00 2) Doors open at 20:00, show starts at 20:30 3) Doors open at 21:30, show starts at 22:00 4) Doors open at 23:00, show starts at 23:30 All-you-can-drink for 5,500 yen. If you make a reservation by the day before, it becomes 5,000 yen. Inside the restaurant, there are counter seats on the right. I thought there would be other staff, but on this day, Monsieur Pierre himself prepared the drinks. The guests on this day were couples and groups of close female friends. After a while, the magic show started. Magic tricks using coins, cards, Rubik's Cube, and puzzles. Since it was my first visit, I couldn't choose the performance, but the other customers who were there that day seemed to be regulars, so they could request the type of magic they wanted to see. Later on, the options increased, and now from the second visit, you can choose from 3 magic tricks, and if you visit more than 3 times, you can choose from 12 different tricks. I used to make fun of celebrities and audience members sitting in the front row on magic TV shows, saying, "You should be able to figure it out if you're sitting right in front of it, right?" But when I actually experienced it, I didn't notice at all... (^_^;) The talk during the magic show is also top-notch, with jokes like "〜zamasu" and "〜shirubupure" mixed in, making everyone laugh. Sometimes, a magic bar is nice too. Just in case, because many young people in the company didn't know when asked. For those who are interested, please come around 5:45!

Today, a natural girl who doesn't know Pierre visited the restaurant. She was amazed by the coin passing through her hand magic. Pierre responded with "You are the most mysterious one!" Let's go eat some tamagokake gohan to finish off the day!

Monsieur Pierre's main attraction is his magic show. You can enjoy his magic right before your eyes. It truly feels like real magic (laughs). We were celebrating a birthday and the guest of honor left with eyes wide open. It's a bar, so unfortunately it's only open at night, but I wish they had daytime hours too so I could bring kids to see the show.
