Shinjuku Sanchome towards Shinjuku, looking for a place to charge while walking, and lo and behold, there it is - the perfect drinking spot, Torikizoku. The highball from earlier was starting to hit me pretty good, and I was originally looking for a tea spot, but plans changed. Great decision. Beer and snacks came out quickly, and the chef-in-training welcomed us from the kitchen. Very busy, so thank you very much. The Premium Malt's with perfect foam appeared, along with the amazing staff. The whole shrimp fry skewer from Japan's fishing industry arrived before the foam disappeared - it was amazing. I devoured it whole - calcium boost! If you're nearby, I recommend trying the dishes from Japan's fishing industry. The Tori Kamameshi - I love this. Ordered it and it arrived right away, I was thrilled. I ordered it because I wanted to know if they still cook the rice at the table. Last time at a different store, they brought the finished dish to the table, and the rice was mushy. Even though the price is the price, if they're going to serve it in this way, it's better to do it at the table. If it's going to be heated in the kitchen, they should mention it. I have a child and there's a risk of burns, so it's important. Don't you think so, head office? I had a bad experience last time at a different store with the Japan's farming menu, so I kept a note on my food review. Usually when I say I'll come back, I revisit within a week. If I don't share my food review, I'm feeling down about something. People are important, right? When there's a direct survey on the receipt, it's good to speak up. The other day, I ordered speed menu items because they don't serve appetizers, but the speed was lacking, and they brought something I didn't order. If it's a place where you can see the items, I'll never order something I don't want. I thought they should let me choose. I decided to wait and see if time would resolve it. Today, I ordered from the tablet and the food came out immediately. I thought this time was a good visit. Also, because I know it's busy, I think it's okay to serve from the counter. In any case, I fully recharged in less than 2 hours. It was delicious. I will definitely come back.

Stable Torikizoku❣ I think it's really great value for money to eat until you're full for around 5000 yen for two people! The yakitori like momo and mune are delicious, but the service is so-so. I also ordered a Mega Highball, but it only had about 60% of the glass filled, maybe they skimped on the ice... sad... Also, there are many restaurants on the 9th floor of the building, but there is only one elevator, so be prepared to wait a long time for it!

I was told to wait for an hour, but I was seated in about 45 minutes. The staff's service was excellent and the food was served quickly. The grilled skewers with bell peppers and cheese were delicious. The pot rice takes some time, but it was enjoyable chatting while waiting.

Met up with my partner for dinner and headed to Torikizoku near the JRA off-track betting site. We took the elevator up to the restaurant and walked in. Since there's only one elevator in the building, we had to wait a bit. We started off with some draft beer, yakitori, and grilled tororo. The taste was decent, typical of a chain restaurant. I switched from beer to shochu highball, but it felt a bit weak. However, the cheap prices were appealing.

After finishing my plans in Shinjuku, I was looking for a place nearby where I could have a drink and came across Torikizoku. I entered in the early evening on a Sunday, so the restaurant was not very crowded. One thing I really appreciated about Torikizoku was the availability of a Mega Jug of beer! It was Kirin Gold, which felt like a good deal. However, the jug was slightly warm, so the quality was not as good as usual. The grilled chicken dishes like the thigh and breast meat skewers, as well as the cheese meatballs, were consistently delicious. Additionally, the service seemed faster than usual, perhaps because it wasn't too crowded. The chewy and flavorful Kizoku-yaki skewers were tasty and paired well with alcohol. We also ordered fried cartilage, potato fries, and edamame as snacks. We were able to get full and satisfied for around 3000 yen per person, making it a good value for money. Thank you for the meal.

Torikizoku is always crowded, isn't it? Even on weekdays, not to mention weekends. Everyone loves Torikizoku, including me. Even though they raised their prices, it's still cheap, right? The volume of their Kizoku-yaki is amazing, isn't it?! The thigh Kizoku-yaki is delicious, and the breast Kizoku-yaki has tender meat and is also tasty! I prefer the tare sauce for my yakitori. Ordering rice and making my own yakitori don is the best, confirming once again that Torikizoku is amazing. The drinks are cheap, the food besides yakitori is delicious as well. Everything is delicious. And wallet-friendly. It's just too good. However, I wish they would switch from butter oil to mayo for the fried potatoes, as ketchup and mayo are the best. Anyway, I want to go to Torikizoku every week. Also, I like this store because it has a rectangular layout, with many seats next to other customers and walls. (Does that make sense?)

The elevator seemed to be full with just 6 people... Managed to get up to the store after about 3 rounds. Arrived at the store around 9:20 PM as I finished my business early and had time to spare. Since I arrived earlier than the reserved time, the seats were not ready yet, so I was asked to wait in the waiting area. The waiting area was full due to earlier arrivals, so I had to stand and wait at the edge. Even after the reserved time passed, I was not called... So, I asked a staff member for confirmation. They said the seats were still not ready. What was the point of making a reservation? Finally called at 9:50 PM, 20 minutes after the reserved time. What was the point of making a reservation? If they can't keep their promise, they shouldn't accept reservations... Orders were made using a touch panel. Although the service was quick after ordering, the "Fluffy Grated Yam Teppanyaki" that I really wanted was disappointing. It seemed like they just poured it onto a preheated teppan. Despite the low price of 350 yen per item, both the reservation and the quality of the food were problematic. Thanks to that, my stay was short, I couldn't relax, and the cost was low, but still... it was disappointing. I don't think I will visit again.

Shinjuku alone has quite a few Torikizoku branches, which is impressive. If one branch is full, you can easily find another one nearby. It was a busy Sunday evening, so the grilled dishes took a while to be served. The drinks were okay. I ordered the limited-time miso-flavored "Kizoku-yaki" and found the miso flavor to be strong, but it paired well with alcohol. The meat was not too tough and was cooked carefully. It was served hot and tasted delicious.

Bird Kingdom: All items are 298 yen each (excluding tax). I was lured by the cheap prices and came with 5 colleagues. The beer at this price is truly reasonable! It's cheap!! However, the food is all so-so... The spicy cucumber doesn't have much flavor, the cabbage's sauce isn't tasty, and the yakitori is also just okay. Maybe this is what you get with a chain restaurant. I still prefer yakitori from individual shops.

It's nice that there are no appetizers served. Sometimes they charge over 350 yen just for an appetizer (lol). Premium Malt's beer is 327 yen. It's also nice that all dishes are 327 yen. Potato salad, edamame, beef skewers, tantakatan on the rocks, Tomino Hozan with hot water, and Ichikokusha with hot water, all for 327 yen!

Tsukune salt: At first glance, it seemed dry and not very juicy, but upon tasting it, I realized that it contained a moderate amount of fat and was designed to be refreshing with a salty taste. It turned out to be a good menu item. Sappari umami salad: The seaweed perfectly blends with the sesame dressing, maximizing the umami flavor. It's a killer menu item that makes you want more, becoming addictive. Negi miso chicken cutlet: The topping of green onions looked meager and unimpressive. It's just a regular chicken cutlet if not for the fact that it's from Torikizoku. It lacks the cost performance and quality of their usual menu items.

It was easy to spend and delicious, but there was a different restaurant's tout near the first floor of the building, and I almost got taken to a different restaurant, so please be careful if you are considering going. I saw reviews of that restaurant and they were terrible.

Long time no see Tricky! First time all-you-can-eat buffet for 3,500 yen.

Before, the restaurant used to be crowded even on weekdays, but it was only for two hours until the meeting time, so it was nice to be able to sit down quickly, have a drink, and eat. The drinks were served promptly, so I would like to come back again.
