It is part of the Coffee Kan group, offering a special blend of coffee beans roasted over charcoal for their iced coffee. The coffee boasts a rich flavor and aroma from the first sip to the last. The café has around 40 seats at 2-seater tables, and it is run by a man handling everything alone. It operates on a self-service basis, with the coffee being prepared using a coffee machine. The toast served here is thick, almost like 5 slices of bread put together, and made from a delicious high-quality loaf. Customers can help themselves to packets of margarine. What sets this café apart is the boiled eggs they serve - they are seasoned with salt while still in their shells. Unlike the salted boiled eggs found in convenience stores that are difficult to peel due to the seasoning, these eggs are easy to peel and have a tasty salted yolk.

Today, most people are taking a break. I came to this town for a customer visit. However, I arrived too early, so I needed to kill some time. There is a McDonald's next door, but I just wanted coffee, so I chose to go into this cafe. There are a few customers here and there. I got an iced cafe latte and sat in a corner of the shop. I cooled off with the air conditioning and took a breather with my latte. Ah, I feel relaxed now. So, I'll head to my next destination.

The cafe seemed popular, with only a few seats available, so I enjoyed my coffee and not-too-sweet donut in peace. I started daydreaming about secret dates in Jingu Park, but the smoke from nearby smokers brought me back to reality. It's not the most comfortable place for non-smokers, as there were quite a few smokers around. It's a shame that it's not clear where the smoking and non-smoking areas are, especially for first-time visitors. Overall, I would recommend this cafe to smokers, but it may not be the best choice for non-smokers.

Urgently headed to Osaka from Sendai for a day trip, feeling rushed and flustered as it was my first time flying and visiting Osaka. Finally, I found a moment to relax at a cafe. My throat was dry, and my stomach was growling, reaching my limit. On the way to the dessert shop I was aiming for, I stumbled upon a cafe that I don't usually see in Sendai. Since I was in the mood for matcha, I decided to give it a try. The cute waitress greeted me, and despite a few customers coming in, she swiftly took my order. I ordered a matcha latte with no espresso. The latte was served to my table promptly with a tray, and I was impressed by the service. The latte was a bit too sweet for my liking, with whipped cream instead of fresh cream, but the amount of cream was generous. Although I couldn't finish it all due to the sweetness, the waitress kindly offered to pack the remaining drink for me to take away. Her thoughtful gesture made me feel happy, and I left the cafe feeling satisfied. Despite the sweetness of the drink, the excellent service makes me want to visit this cafe again when I come back to Osaka.

This is a coffee shop located above Honmachi Station on the Osaka Municipal Subway Yotsubashi Line, at the intersection of Shinano Bridge. I stopped by in the morning to adjust my schedule. As soon as I opened the entrance, I was hit by the smell of cigarettes. It was quite a strong smell mixed with a stale odor. I considered turning back on my way to the central order counter, but going back out into the cold was not appealing, so I decided to have an iced coffee. When you enter from the entrance, there is a slope on the floor. On that slope, there are only 4 non-smoking seats, almost like a gesture of pity. This space was originally an approach to the building, with a roof forcibly added to make it into a shop. It feels like they made it a non-smoking area just because they could. It's not a comfortable or pleasant place to enjoy a drink, but I just had to wait for time to pass. It was also difficult to go to the return counter in the back as it was self-service.

Located just east of Utsubo Park, right by the door of the restaurant that opens from the south exit of Hommachi Station on the Yotsubashi Line, you will find non-smoking seats to the right. There are 4 tables with 2 seats each, with smoking seats to the left. The counter and kitchen are on the right side, and there are table seats facing them. They serve a light regular coffee and toast with margarine and a boiled egg set for 350 yen. The coffee is generous. The opening hours are posted next to the entrance door: weekdays 6:20-19:50, Saturdays 7:20-17:50, Sundays and holidays 8:30-17:20. It seems like operating efficiently is important nowadays, but is it too strict?

I found a paradise for smokers~. It's a cafe located right near Yotsubashi Honmachi Station. There are only 4 seats by the wall near the entrance designated as non-smoking, but every time a customer comes in or out, a draft blows in... It must be tough in the cold season... I ordered a Darjeeling tea for 250 yen and sat in the chilly non-smoking section. The number of non-smoking seats is too few compared to the total, making this cafe very outdated. Well, I guess it's okay to have such a place since there are still plenty of smokers around. It's a tough place for non-smokers. If it had been iced tea, I could have gulped it down quickly and left, but because it was hot tea, it took some time. Thank you for the meal. It seems difficult for Japan to become completely smoke-free while I'm still alive. Let's leave it to the leaders of the next generation...

There was a small lemon cake at the checkout counter, which reminded me of my childhood, so I ordered it! Since it was hot and my throat was dry, I also ordered a matcha smoothie. The lemon cake brought back memories and made my mouth water. The matcha smoothie cooled my body and moistened my throat. The taste was, of course, delicious! It's perfect for using near Utsubo Park.

However, the heat was unbearable so I decided to get an iced drink. This cafe is a chain store affiliated with UCC, so you can expect the same taste at any of their locations. I was thinking of getting a cafe latte, but I got distracted by their seasonal item - a Strawberry Latte! It looked colorful and appealing, so I ordered it. I also considered getting something to eat, but couldn't find anything that caught my eye, so I gave up. I watched as they made the latte - it was a regular latte with a generous amount of whipped cream on top and strawberry sauce drizzled over it. The taste was as I expected, delicious, but the strawberry sauce tasted more like jam, which was a bit disappointing. Also, this cafe is non-smoking, which is great for me as a non-smoker, but the way they divided the smoking and non-smoking areas made the place smell strongly of cigarettes. After leaving, the smell of smoke lingered on my clothes. For non-smokers, I recommend sitting closer to the entrance or just getting a takeout instead.

I visited a cafe around 18:30 to take shelter from the rain. It's a chain store similar to Starbucks. I ordered a double espresso, but it was too strong for my liking. The price was cheap at 300 yen, which was a positive point. This place allows smoking, which is rare and appreciated by smokers. However, there were cigarette butts on the floor and the place smelled of smoke, so I, who dislike smoking, left quickly. Maybe during the day, the smell of smoke wouldn't be as strong.

In this area, there are many cafes. This small and slightly cramped shop somehow feels calming. There are also larger and more spacious cafes, but in the hustle and bustle of the city, finding refuge in a small shop can bring a moment of relief. The quiet atmosphere and minimal noise serve as a temporary oasis for the mind. It makes you crave a delicious and sweet café latte! Taking a brief rest is a gift to yourself, and taking some time to relax is also a good idea.
