I like to go on dates with my wife occasionally, so it was nice. We sometimes go to cafes together ☕️. When I tried to go to a familiar cafe with a coupon after work, it turned out to be closed. We couldn't find many cafes open at night, but we ended up at Miyakoshiya, which was open. It was a bit of a pricey cafe with a beautiful night view. Next to it was a bar that I had visited when I was younger. It's a nice atmosphere in that area.

I have always wanted to visit a cafe with a beautiful night view! The location of the shop is up the hill next to Fushimi Shrine. I kept climbing up, thinking "Is it still...?" until I finally arrived! I parked my car in the parking lot and took the elevator to the 3rd floor. When I opened the door, the large window in the dimly lit interior revealed the night view of Sapporo. Wonderful~! Beautiful~! The price of the coffee was a bit high at 1320 yen, but enjoying a hot cafe au lait while looking at the night view was exceptional.

On the mountain side of Asahigaoka, after passing through a residential area, you arrive at this shop with a facade that stands out on the night road. Taking the elevator from the first floor of the RC building to the third floor, you are greeted with a strong smell of cigarettes, despite the restaurant being listed as "non-smoking" on Tabelog. The staff mentioned that only one table near the front is designated for smoking, but the smell still permeates throughout the restaurant due to the lack of partitions. Despite this, I decided to stay and ordered a Mandheling G1 coffee for 1,320 yen (tax included). The coffee was served in a lovely Wedgwood cup and had a deep, rich flavor. It was meticulously brewed and delicious, with a thick body and minimal acidity. The cake I ordered for 550 yen (tax included) was a chiffon cake that was incredibly soft and fluffy, complemented by a creamy cream that melted in my mouth. Although the quality of the coffee and cake was exceptional, the lingering smell of cigarettes due to the smoking area was disappointing. It would be appreciated if they clearly labeled themselves as a smoking-permitted establishment. Thank you for the meal.

I visited a cafe inspired by someone I respect, during the time of sunset. I ordered a Costa Rican coffee with a sweet aroma and rich flavor. As I waited for it to be ground, I enjoyed the sound and aroma of the beans, watching the quiet transition from dusk to sunset. I was captivated by the dynamic night view, feeling like I was gazing at a large jewelry box. The view of the night skyline and the frame of the window gave me a strange sensation, as if I was embracing the Sapporo night view. I took a sip of the freshly ground coffee, savoring its richness while being entranced by the night view, and couldn't help but let out a sigh of amazement. The combination of the clean air of Hokkaido, the beautiful city, and the delicious coffee created a moment where I was completely captivated. It made me realize how long it had been since I had purely enjoyed a moment like this, outside of work or romance. The value of that one cup that allowed me to be so captivated is truly special. After celebrating with a meal at "Unami," we headed to this cafe that was highly recommended. Located in the Fushimi area, the concrete building appears as you drive up the steep slope. We parked the car, took the elevator to the third floor, and entered a small floor with a great view. The dark-toned, calming design caught our eye. - Mandelin G-1: $13.20 - Tanzania Kilimanjaro: $13.20 The Mandelin coffee is rich and not too acidic, with a nice nutty flavor that is strong yet easy to drink. The Tanzania Kilimanjaro has a natural acidity with a wide aroma that leaves a long aftertaste. Both coffees were meticulously brewed by Miyakoshiya and tasted delicious. But the real highlight was the panoramic view of Sapporo city below. We arrived around 6:30 pm, the view was still bright, and we enjoyed the refreshing sight of the distant landscape. As the sun gradually set, the blue sky and the colorful lights of the city emerged, making us squint our eyes. When the night fell completely, the glittering and romantic night view of Sapporo captivated us. We lost track of time and had endless conversations. Initially surprised by the coffee prices, we found them justified with the added value of this amazing view and the extraordinary experience. It's like paying an entrance fee for the seat. When we settled the bill, we both agreed that we would love to come back again. Sometimes, a night in Sapporo without alcohol can be just as enjoyable. We smiled and squinted our eyes at each other.

The price for each drink is high, but if you consider it as paying for the nice night view and ambiance, it's worth it. I ordered coffee and cheesecake, and chose from two options for the cake. The taste was decent, not amazing but not bad either.

I arrived a little before opening time, but was kindly told that I could come in a bit early. I parked my car in the parking lot and took a short walk around before entering the shop. The shop had a large window that offered a beautiful view. I immediately decided that I had to come back at night to see the view again! The price of the coffee was a bit on the higher side, but you can enjoy a delicious cup of coffee at a leisurely pace. Next time, I'll come back at night!

The atmosphere is calm and chic, with 6 table seats in the shop. In the winter, the terrace seats are closed, but in the summer, you can enjoy coffee outside. The interior of the cafe is stylish and the night view is beautiful. The cafe is quiet, with only the sound of jazz music playing in the background. The coffee is priced at 1,320 yen per cup, which may seem high, but considering the limited seating and customers' stay time, it is understandable.
