Seeking a delicious breakfast, I visited "Yawaragi" They open from 5 am. I ordered the dashimaki set with extra salmon topping. The combination was perfect, and I was happy to also have sashimi. It was the best breakfast. Thank you very much. Located a little ways down a side street off of Dotonbori in Shinsaibashi, this Japanese restaurant has a great atmosphere and delicious food. The chicken wing karaage was especially tasty with a nice kick of sansho pepper. They offer course options starting from 4 dishes, and we also ordered some a la carte items. The chef's personality and service were excellent, and they even open early in the morning. We will definitely be celebrating there again.

It was delicious! The person running the place seemed to be handling everything alone, so when more customers came in, it got a bit hectic and the service for food and drinks tended to be slow, but it's understandable! The food was really delicious ✨ I forgot to take photos of the other dishes, but managed to snap a picture of the tuna yukhoe ===========

After work, let's have a drink and head home. I wanted to drink Ponshu ♥️ Japanese food is good ♥️ I was taken to a restaurant by a demanding girl. The restaurant is located near Shinsaibashi, in a narrow alley that I must have passed many times, but overlooked. I had daikon tempura for the first time. ♥️

On weekends, after finishing work, I used a small group campaign for a same-day reservation in Minami. I found a place that accepts same-day reservations for one person on Tabelog, so I made a reservation. Head east from Daimaru Sogo, pass through the shopping street, and turn into the alley next to Camera Naniwa. There are several dining places lined up. The interior of the restaurant has a small counter and a tatami room, and the owner seems to be working alone, perhaps due to the season or always being the case. The omakase course is ¥5,000 (excluding tax), with only the omakase option available on the menu. You leave everything to the owner. Draft beer is 500 yen, highball is 600 yen, and shochu is only famous brands for 700 yen, slightly on the expensive side. The appetizer is boiled komatsuna, and even though I don't drink, I appreciate the level and effort of the restaurant through the appetizer. Next is sashimi, 3 types with 3 pieces each, including thick slices of salmon, bonito tataki, and tuna, showing that they use good quality ingredients. The grilled dish is sawara, served with kabosu for a refreshing taste. Then there are various tempura dishes, simmered dishes, and miso soup, which is rich but not heavy. The rice dish is eel kama-meshi, with a small amount of eel but flavored with sansho pepper. Finally, like hitsumabushi, you enjoy the remaining broth over the rice. The tatami room seemed to be for a party, and the owner seemed busy with drink orders, but in his free time, he would provide interesting stories and maintain a good distance in his service. It may not be easy to visit alone, but this kind of restaurant is a good choice if you are accompanying someone.

Tempura rice bowl, fish head soup, pickles for 1000 yen. I was intrigued by the sign at the edge of the road... I remember seeing a sign for a 1500 yen or 2000 yen tempura rice bowl around here before, did it change? I thought to myself as I walked around looking. Is this the place? I entered, feeling nervous as there were no other customers. "Please come in," the chef guided me to take off my shoes and sit at the counter in a sunken kotatsu-style seating. There was one table for two as well. For lunch, they offered a rice bowl with raw egg for 700 yen, tempura rice bowl for 1000 yen, and tonkatsu lunch for 1600 yen. When I was debating between the rice bowl with raw egg and the tempura rice bowl, the chef suggested, "Why not go for the tempura rice bowl!" So, I ordered the tempura rice bowl. A hot towel was brought out, followed by a glass of ice water. Actually, I prefer hot tea in this kind of place. After a while, a bowl of fish head soup in white miso broth was served, and the tempura rice bowl arrived in a large, heavy-looking bowl. I had forgotten that I don't really like fish head soup, but surprisingly, it wasn't fishy or greasy at all! "What kind of fish is this?" I asked, and the response was "Various kinds!" It seemed like the fish had been properly prepared. The tempura rice bowl was topped with two plump shrimp tempura, a generous piece of conger eel, young corn, thick squid, and chubby shiitake mushrooms. Each ingredient was substantial and delicious. The tempura sauce was just the right thickness for my liking. "Oh, don't forget to leave a little bit of rice at the end!" I was advised. "Oh, you can have a refill if you want!" I was tempted. I made up my mind not to have a refill, but next time, I might just go for it. I realized once again that I really like eggs and rice. It was delicious. Finally, I couldn't resist having a cup of hot tea. I'll have to ask for it next time. The egg yolk tempura at the end really got me. The generous fish head soup and the egg yolk tempura as a finishing touch. I want to try them again.

Close to Shinsaibashi Station, there is a narrow alley in Unagiya that leads to a hidden gem called "Secret Hideaway." It's a bit winding to get there, but once you pass through, oh my, this alley is also a path to the hideaway. The atmosphere is so lively in Shinsaibashi, but just a 2-minute walk away, you'll find yourself at this secret hideaway. It almost feels like magic by Special Kin Nikuman! As you enter the restaurant, you'll be greeted by the master who will guide you to a tatami-style counter where you can relax and unwind. The ambiance of the place is so relaxing that you'll immediately feel at ease. The menu is carefully curated by Lion, and we ordered a variety of dishes including simmered winter melon, assorted sashimi, horse mackerel hamburger, young corn tempura, daikon oden tempura, sake lees soup, deep-fried shad with kadaif, and Master's Dream. We also tried two rounds of sake tasting with three different types each time. The simmered winter melon was a gentle and comforting start to the meal, followed by a delightful assortment of sashimi including grilled conger eel, bonito tataki, and lightly seared saury. The horse mackerel hamburger was a unique dish recommended by the master, and it was prepared rare to enhance its rich flavor. The young corn tempura and daikon oden tempura were both excellent, showcasing the chef's creativity. The sake lees soup was smooth and velvety, a perfect complement to the meal. The deep-fried shad with kadaif was a standout dish, with a crispy and crunchy texture that paired well with the mushroom sauce. Overall, the experience of enjoying these dishes with sake in a cozy atmosphere was truly delightful.

Today, I went out for drinks with Y-pon! Recently, I've been really into Japanese sake! So, we decided to pick a few places we wanted to visit. After discussing, we settled on Ienagaragi. We visited Ienagaragi, located in a hidden spot in an alley in Unagiya. It's a bit hard to find but the cozy, hidden vibe is nice. We took off our shoes at the entrance and sat at the counter where we could stretch our legs. The owner, who looks like a bear, welcomed us. We looked at the menu but decided to let them know our preferences and asked them to choose the dishes for us. This time, we requested something light and around 3000 yen budget since we planned to visit other places later. The dishes we had were: - Simmered winter melon - Assorted sashimi (3 types) - grilled hagfish sashimi - Bonito tataki - Mackerel pike - Horse mackerel hamburger - Young corn tempura - Daikon radish oden tempura - Sake lees soup - Deep-fried autumn saury in kadaif Drinks: - Master's Dream (500 yen) - Sake tasting set (3 types) - 1st round (1000 yen) - Sake tasting set (3 types) - 2nd round (1000 yen) The dishes were all delicious, and the sake pairing was enjoyable. The sake selection changes daily, and it was great to experience the seasonal choices. The total bill was surprisingly under 5000 yen. They also offer lunch, so I definitely want to come back for that too! It was a delightful experience enjoying delicious food and sake. Thank you for the meal!

Today, as always, the stable atmosphere at Ie Waragi is maintained. A new young ace has joined, adding even more energy to the place. The owner is a great storyteller, and the new staff member is still very cute. It's a place where you can be healed not only by the food but also by the atmosphere and staff. Every time, we can enjoy seasonal dishes and feel happy. And, unexpectedly, just like last time, a pleasant surprise cake plate! Last time, it had "Happy Birthday" written on it, and this time, it had a message cheering on those working hard towards their dreams. These little gestures warm the heart, making this restaurant a truly special place.

"Kawayuragi"! Part 4. Always delicious dishes. How much do you love food! Laugh. I love raw dishes like conger eel, octopus, sea urchin, and sea bream. Conger eel, as the name suggests, is best in spring, but during the colder months, it becomes fatty and delicious. Also, I've been keeping it a secret, but I really love shiitake mushrooms. It doesn't matter. I heard that Dai Haruka is a stationery designer. It doesn't matter. I saw a sushi special on TV earlier, so now I want to eat sushi. I'll go anywhere. Looking forward to your invitation.

The last breakfast in Osaka trip. Buffet at the hotel is nice, but this kind of place is good too. It might be better if there are toppings. The mentaiko looks delicious even though it was a bit pricey. The rice was prepared freshly. It was delicious.

- Kaiseki style? Everything I ate was incredibly delicious. - The chef is the only one, so be prepared for some extra time when you visit.

I have been taken to this restaurant by regular customers a few times. They use seasonal ingredients to provide delicious meals at that time. I forgot to take a photo, but the tempura is also delicious. ♡

When it first opened, the Eatery had decent ratings on Tabelog, but I always thought it would eventually reach 3.5 stars or higher, and sure enough, it did. Their fried dishes are especially delicious, and I believe their flagship dish is the daikon tempura!
