I saw it on Instagram, so I immediately made a reservation and went there! My younger daughter had the spaghetti plate for ¥1790, while I had the hamburger sandwich for ¥1890. When I visited Osaka, I used a cafe in Shinsaibashi OPA as I moved from Yodoyabashi towards Shinsaibashi. The cafe is located on the 9th floor, and the seats by the window are great. Upon entering, I was informed that the non-smoking area was full, so I had to sit in the smoking section. I ordered a coffee and a coconut milk tea. The milk tea had a soft coconut aroma with a sweet tea base topped with whipped cream, resembling a dessert drink. Later, when a non-smoking seat became available, I moved there. However, I didn't notice any specific smoke extraction system, so I felt like the smoke could reach the non-smoking area if there were smokers on the floor. There were also spacious sofa seats where many people enjoyed lunch and leisurely conversations.

The meat was a bit tough, but the salad dressing wasn't too sour, and the side dishes of hijiki seaweed and pickles were just right for refreshing the palate. The miso soup was also delicious with the perfect richness. Most of all, the sofa was extremely comfortable, so I would love to come back for tea time.

The atmosphere is nice and it's easy for a group or solo diners to visit, but sometimes the food is sloppy. They served cold curry and the seafood bowl had no dressing on the salad, and the rice and seafood tasted plain. Moreover, it had a fishy smell. Although there are some delicious dishes, serving cold curry is unacceptable. If you are a restaurant, please make sure to serve warm dishes properly.

I came to Shinsaibashi for shopping, so I decided to have lunch here ☻ The interior of the restaurant is stylish and has a nice atmosphere, perfect for lunch♬ There were many delicious menu options, but I ordered a seafood bowl with salmon and avocado. It was just the right amount, not too much or too little, and the seafood was fresh and delicious◎ It seems like the restaurant changes to different tastes for a limited time, and they also collaborate with Disney, so I would like to come back here again when I visit Shinsaibashi☻♬

I enjoyed a leisurely cafe lunch with my girlfriends in a spacious setting. The food was decent, not amazing but not bad either. The location was great and the atmosphere was nice, so I would like to visit again.

Hello. This is Shunmama. On this day, I had a company training in the afternoon at the Nikko Hotel in Shinsaibashi, and decided to have lunch at Shinsaibashi OPA. After looking around, I chose Kawara Cafe on the 9th floor. Their special lunch menu includes options from (1) to (11), with free refills and extra rice for rice and miso soup! Plus, they are kind to salespeople like us, and lunch time lasts until 5:00 pm. So relaxing~ I chose the (4) Weekly Kawara Washoku Set, while my companion chose the (11) Special Obanzai Set for an extra 200 yen, which comes with a soft drink. It arrived in 7-8 minutes. Looks delicious! The weekly main dish was crispy fried chicken with oil-drenched chicken sauce, coated in starch and topped with a sweet and sour sauce that was addictive. The rice was a bit like it came from a rice cooker, but the three side dishes were simmered hijiki seaweed, mountain vegetables, and sweet and sour pickled daikon, in just the right amount for a good variety of flavors. The cold oboro tofu and salad were also included, offering good value. The free refill miso soup with thin fried tofu and spinach was tasty but a bit too hot. We sat at a sofa table and had a great time chatting. More and more groups of female customers kept coming in. Those who know this place will surely come back again. It was a weekday lunch, but there were young women in their 20s, maybe college students or office ladies, enjoying their cafe meal. If the staff were a bit more smiley, it would have been even better, but I shouldn't be too picky.
