It is a restaurant review of a cheese sweets specialty shop called "Snow Cheese Daimaru Sapporo" in Hokkaido. The shop is supervised by a cheese factory in Hokkaido and is very popular, often selling out by mid-morning. They recently started selling a new limited-time sweet from October 4th to the end of November. To get your hands on it, you need to line up before 9 am. The new sweet is called "Snow Cheese Cake" and is limited to one per person. The shop is located in the basement of Daimaru Sapporo, directly connected to JR Sapporo Station. The review describes the process of getting a ticket, lining up, and finally enjoying the delicious cheese cake.

I received a rare snack that you have to line up to buy. I heard they lined up 90 minutes before the store opened to get it! They are all delicious, but the snack with cheese and holes in it was especially tasty! I would love to buy it myself when I go to Sapporo.

I found a souvenir that can only be bought in Hokkaido called Snow Cheese. People were lining up at Daimaru starting one hour before opening. There was a limit on the quantity but I didn't give up. The most popular one seems to be Snow White Cheese, but my favorite was the Gold Cheese. I was curious about cheese chocolate, but it wasn't too sweet, not too strong in cheese flavor, and incredibly delicious. Also, the cookies with a salty taste had a great texture and were delicious. I understood why there was a long line. If I have the chance, I would definitely line up again for this deliciousness. It was a great souvenir and the recipients were very happy. It also has a good shelf life! Thank you for the delicious food.

My sister bought me a souvenir that was very popular and she waited in line for about 1-1.5 hours to get it! It's like a combination of Langue de Chat and cheese. I'm usually not a fan of Langue de Chat, so I was surprised that people would line up for this. But since she went through the trouble of waiting in line for it, I decided to try it. Wow, it's actually delicious! The crispy and crumbly texture of the Langue de Chat combined with the sweetness is great. The cheese inside is also tasty. Now I understand why it's so popular. But waiting 1-1.5 hours may be a bit too much, haha.

Snow Cheese, a popular shop in Sapporo Daimaru basement. I suddenly felt like eating it after a long time, so I made my son wait in line for 1 hour and 20 minutes. The line starts on the 1st floor of Daimaru basement (to the right of Gâteau Festa Harada). He was the 9th person in line. The staff at the shop offered complimentary bottled water. When Daimaru opened at 10 am, he entered and received the menu via LINE. I found out that the price of Snow Gold has increased - 8 pieces for 831 yen to 1080 yen, and 16 pieces for 1555 yen to 2160 yen, with a 605 yen increase for the 16-piece pack. Not as cost-effective as before. Snow White and Edam prices remain the same. I purchased 2 boxes of Snow White (8 pieces for 1036 yen each) and 2 boxes of Snow Gold (8 pieces for 1080 yen each), totaling 4 boxes. I will enjoy them after returning home. They are delicious, with a crispy texture. Even in the summer, the cheese didn't melt on the way back. The popularity of Snow Cheese is still high, and they often sell out in the morning despite purchasing restrictions. It may be a bit of a challenge to get Snow Cheese, but if you are willing to wait for about an hour, you can definitely get it. Thank you, son, for waiting in line for me.

I received all kinds of products from an acquaintance. It seems that you still have to line up before the store opens to buy the products. On the left is a soft cheesecake, in the middle is a crunchy biscuit with cheese cream, and on the right is a cookie shaped like soft serve ice cream with cheese inside. Personally, I think the crunchy cookie in the middle is delicious! However, I wonder if it's worth lining up to buy them.

I always gave up on Snow Cheesecake because of the long lines. But on a holiday, I decided to line up before the store opened! I arrived at 8 o'clock and there was already one person waiting, so I became the second in line!! Even though I was second, I was sure I could buy one~ so I felt relieved. It was a hot day, so around 9:30, the staff gave out bottles of water to everyone waiting in line. I was grateful. I was able to line up in front of the store about 10 minutes before it opened, and at exactly 10 o'clock, they started selling to those at the front of the line. I was able to buy all three types of cheese~!! I personally liked the Snow Gold Cheese with a slightly crunchy texture. They were all delicious and I was very satisfied. I wouldn't mind lining up again to eat them! By the way, has the Cream & Edam cheese gotten smaller compared to the official website and photos from other reviews? Haha

A friend living in Sapporo highly recommended this confectionery. It can be found at Daimaru. It has a light texture, not too sweet cheese flavor, and is fluffy. It looks cute too! The box is also cute! Despite the long lines as usual, it is worth buying. When visiting Sapporo, this is an item I want to get my hands on. I also want to try other products.

I ended up buying it by chance. I arrived at Daimaru at 9:55 to buy Snowman. Daimaru was not open yet, and the receptionist was explaining in a voice that was barely audible, "If you are looking to buy Snowman, please go over there..." I thought I had to line up somewhere, so I walked a bit and saw people lining up, so I joined the end of the line. Without any doubt, I lined up, but it turned out to be the line for Snow Cheese, not Snowman. I realized this 30 minutes later. The loud Kansai person behind me also noticed that it was not the Snowman line and exclaimed, "What the heck?!" Honestly, it's confusing. I think it would be better to have clear signs. So, since I had lined up this far and it wasn't what I was looking for, I decided to buy it as a memento. Snow Cheese is famous, isn't it? In the end, I was able to purchase it 1 hour and 10 minutes after lining up. The last time I lined up this much was when I bought Dragon Quest in my student days. The most popular one is "Snow White Cheese," a cheese chocolate cookie with a fragrant and crispy texture. It wraps the crispy chocolate in a soft dough. "Snow Gold Cheese" has a firm sablé base. The cheese chocolate is thick, giving it a satisfying texture. "Cream & Edam" is just the right amount of richness, which I personally enjoyed. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal.

Arrived at 10:10 am on a Sunday morning in June, as expected there was a line. Since the store was already open, the line moved quickly. After about 15 minutes, the Snow White 5-piece set was sold out, followed by the Snow Gold 16-piece set. Managed to purchase around 11 am. For those aiming for a specific quantity, it's better to line up around 9:30 am. As for the taste, it was just okay. It was delicious, but not as amazing as expected. I personally prefer Tokyo Milk Cheese Factory's products. The packaging is cute, and the exclusivity of only being able to purchase here might make it a good souvenir, but I probably won't visit again.

I usually find that they are sold out around noon, but when I passed by around 11:30 on a weekday, they were still selling, so I couldn't resist lining up. The popular Snow White Cheese was sold out, so I bought Snow Gold Cheese and Cream & Edam. The Snow Gold Cheese looked cute and had a crunchy texture that paired well with the cheese chocolate, making it delicious. The Cream & Edam had an interesting texture with the crunchy bits of firm cheese. I would like to try the Snow White Cheese if I have the chance.

It's 10:50 on May 6, 2023. I'm at Sapporo Daimaru. Oh, hello, it's Kamen! I've been curious about this snack that has been a topic of conversation for a while. Whenever I saw the long line, I always gave up, but today the line was surprisingly short! I decided to wait in line. It still took 39 minutes to make the purchase. I went back to the hotel room once and left the snack there before going out again. When I returned to the room and tried the three types of snacks I bought, they were delicious, but I'm not sure if it's worth waiting in line for. There are various factors that contribute to a hit product. I'll bring them as souvenirs to my workplace. Thank you for the meal!

The underground popular Western confectionery shop at Daimaru. I always go in the afternoon and find it sold out, so this Golden Week I decided to go early at 10 am for the opening, but there was already a long line. While waiting in line, more and more items were sold out, but after waiting for 2 hours, I finally got the Snow Cheese I wanted! The taste was surprisingly good, with a strong presence of the outer Langue de Chat and rich cheese. Personally, I prefer moist confections over crispy ones, so I also bought the Cream & Edam. This one was moist and I might like it more than the Snow Cheese. However, the cheese inside was a bit hard, which bothered me a little. Both were delicious, so it seems like the line will continue for a while. But I'm glad I got to try the popular items at least.

A friend brought back a souvenir from their business trip to Hokkaido! It's great that you can only buy it in Hokkaido or during department store fairs, which adds to its rarity. Honestly, I wish there were direct stores in places like Nagoya. Anyway, that's what I'm having for breakfast today.

Daimaru Sapporo Store, located on the 1st floor in "Hoppe Town", had a long line even before opening. I was curious and found out that they were selling super limited edition sweets that you can only buy here. Intrigued, I decided to line up. There were 3 types of products available, and you could choose how many pieces to buy (if they were in stock). After waiting for about 30 minutes, I was able to buy all 3 types, but more and more of the smaller-sized ones were selling out while I was in line. My favorite was the "SNOW GOLD CHEESE" - it had crunchy sablé with cheese chocolate on top. The cheese flavor was not overpowering, and it was really delicious, especially because I love sablé. This was a worthwhile encounter, and if they ever open a store in Honshu, I would definitely want to buy from them again.

You have to line up to buy the sweets here! I only took one photo, but I tried the Snow White Cheese, Snow Gold Cheese Cream, and Mda flavors. Personally, the Snow Gold Cheese in the photo was the best. It was a rich cheese chocolate that was unlike anything I've had before! The crunchy cookie dough was also great. Overall, it was delicious!

On Wednesday at 8:15, the third person arrived. After that, the number of people increased at 8:30, 9:00, and 9:30. Due to the popularity of the product, there is a limit on the number of items that can be purchased. I bought the popular Snow White Cheese Snow Gold Cheese, which is the number one choice. The White Cheese is a snack where cheese is kneaded into the dough and wrapped in cheese chocolate. You can taste the flavor of the cheese in this exquisite snack! The Gold Cheese has a crispy texture with cheese-flavored chocolate on top, allowing you to enjoy the texture and taste of the shortbread and chocolate. Both were delicious. These items are so popular that they have been featured on television, and the delicious taste is one reason to buy them, but there may also be an expectation of gratitude for waiting in line for hours to buy them as souvenirs. I still think there will be a wait of over an hour, so I am hesitant about whether to repeat the purchase. Why not try buying it once and see for yourself...!

I received a very popular souvenir from Sapporo! Snow White Cheese from Sapporo @ Snow Cheese Daimaru Sapporo Store. Here is how it looks like... The concept behind this brand is to deliver a snack that will leave lasting memories in people's hearts, just like the image of snow melting away. The cheese has a strong aroma and is made from high-quality ingredients. The cheese is made with great care and expertise, using the wisdom of cheese pioneers from Hokkaido. The cheese snack has a unique taste and texture, capturing the essence of delicious cheese. The milk used in the cheese comes from Hokkaido, where the natural environment contributes to the quality of the milk. The cheese is a result of the richness of nature, including water, soil, and sunlight. The cheese snack is a delicious combination of cheese and chocolate, encapsulating the taste of cheese in a crispy shell. I had a great experience enjoying this snack, and I am grateful for the opportunity to try it.

In the Depachika sweets section of Daimaru Sapporo, "SNOW CHEESE" has been a solid favorite since its opening. Every time I go to Daimaru, it's always sold out. I was always surprised to see a line forming before the store even opened in the morning at Daimaru Sapporo. Come to think of it, I still haven't been able to try "Nama Northman" from "Senkyuan," which has become part of the Kinotoya group. The sweets section at Daimaru Sapporo is truly amazing. My family member bought it for my daughter, who came back from the store after waiting in line. A mother's love is incredible. The creamy Edam cheese goes well with tea, the crispy Snow White sponge cake has a rich flavor, and the Gold cheese would be perfect with wine. The crispy crust with cheese pairs nicely with wine. My daughter tried it and said, "Well, it's pretty good." It seems to still be very popular, but the cycle of sweet popularity seems to be getting shorter and shorter.

I always have to line up to buy it. I started lining up before the store opened. When I lined up a little later, I was able to buy it in about 30 minutes. I tried three varieties. The most popular one was my favorite. I hope I can buy it without having to line up early.

The rating is really high, isn't it? I'm not very knowledgeable about sweets. Before starting Tabelog, I used to weigh more than I do now because of ramen and alcohol. So I made a decision not to snack, and I stick to it pretty stubbornly. If I receive sweets, I never eat them on the spot, but instead bring them home. I thought I wouldn't remember anything about the sweets at all. However, since starting Tabelog, I have started eating them. Even so, I only eat a small portion of the larger sweets, feeling guilty. Famous sweets, apparently. You know them, right, dear? At the very least, I thought I should show them to you. So without opening them, on a late day, I left them on the table. I took a long bath, which has become longer lately due to the renovation. When I came out, you were about to finish your second drink. You usually drink slowly on late days without eating much. Oh no, the precious sweets have been opened. Oh no. "Did you take a picture?" "Nope." It's already opened. There's a bit of the flaky crust left, but it's wrapped in a rich chocolate cheese? Or almond cream? The texture is flaky and the cheese scent is there but not overpowering. The sweetness is just right. It's definitely delicious. It's still super popular, huh? I see.
