While watching the Gion Taiko performance, I had the opportunity to play the Omotenashi Taiko drums ( ゚∀゚)o彡゚ソイヤソイヤ. Even though I only played for a few minutes, I became very hungry. It's like my energy consumption was high (laughs). There were food stalls around, but I was afraid of getting dizzy from standing, so I wanted to sit down to eat. I peeked into a restaurant and since there were no guests, I decided to go in (ง ˙˘˙ )ว.
I used to go to this restaurant a lot and really liked it, but I stopped going when it started getting crowded during lunchtime and I didn't feel like waiting in line anymore ( ˊᵕˋ ;). It seems like it's easier to get in during dinner time, but I don't usually pass by this area at night because I usually go to my favorite café or Iizutsuya. However, due to the influence of the Gion Taiko performance, I came to this place at night, so I had a hamburger dinner.
There are many types of hamburgers on the menu, but I have been addicted to the Italian Cheese Hamburger since my second or third visit, and I have hardly tried any other options (laughs). The demi-glace sauce seems to be popular, but I didn't get that hooked on it (although I remember it was delicious), I just kept ordering the Italian Cheese Hamburger. I think I tried the grated radish once. It's a soft and sweet hamburger with a strong meat juice flavor. The meat juice mixes with the tomato sauce and becomes like minestrone, which is delicious. It really warms up my body after physical work (∩˘ω˘∩ )♡. It had been a while since I last visited, but the taste was still to my liking. My only complaint is that the rice portion is small. Also, the lack of flexibility in the set menu with rice, soup, and salad for almost 600 yen is a bit much. As other reviews have mentioned, if you want to be more satisfied with the price, it's better to go for lunch. The oolong tea is also small.
I also ordered the cheesecake, which was too small for 300 yen ( ;꒳; ). If it was a mini cake for an additional 180 yen, I would understand, but for 300 yen, it's not worth it. I forgot how small it was since I hadn't ordered it in a while. The taste is good, with a fairly firm texture and a hint of pumpkin flavor. It's delicious, but it's too small, so I think I won't order it again. The taste is good, but the poor cost performance at dinner, or rather the unfair small size of the side menu items, is a concern ( ˙-˙ ). I think I won't be queuing up again, so I'd like to revisit for lunch! When I entered, there were no guests, but by the time I finished eating, the tables were almost full (the counter had no guests), so it seems like the restaurant is still popular. They accept PayPay ☆
