I went to "Kaisen Sakagura 231" located in a corner of Sapporo Station underground! "Kaisen Sakagura 231" is located in the heart of the business district, so there were many businessmen having lunch, but also noticeable were women in their 60s, families, and a wide range of customers. It seemed to have a lot of repeat customers due to its good value. On this day, I ordered the "Kaisen Don (1200 yen)"! The Kaisen Don comes with soup and chawanmushi. The Kaisen Don had thick slices of sashimi for its price. It had a variety of seafood, and looked more luxurious than 1200 yen. The shellfish was also thickly sliced, providing a satisfying texture. The fish eggs in the front are from herring. They had a stronger elasticity than ikura, and were quite delicious. It was probably my first time trying herring eggs, but it's a food I would like to try again. They handle ingredients that are not commonly eaten, so I felt it was a good restaurant. The lunch menu offers a variety of dishes that can be enjoyed for around 1000 yen, so I would like to go back again. If you are looking for cost-effective seafood, "231" is recommended.

While donating blood, I came across a restaurant in the basement called Battera, which serves pressed sushi. I remembered the name of the place. Today's recommended dish was the Negitoro bowl, which was delicious. The large bowl of shrimp soup was a pleasant surprise. The rice portion was also generous at 300g, and I unexpectedly left feeling full. I felt like falling asleep after donating blood, haha.

This is a shop near the beach. This is the second pre-party. This shop is also a revisit request from me. Yes. I came to eat sweet shrimp. The full box of sweet shrimp is impressive. I ate a lot. I also had a comparison of raw oysters, raw sliced herring, and grilled herring. This shop is in Mashike, and I also had a cup of sake called Kokki. I am very satisfied. Although it was still before the main event, I was feeling pretty good and headed to the venue for the main event.

We decided to explore the underground of Asti 45 a little bit. It seemed like a high-end place, but we mustered up the courage to enter! Even though they were fully booked, they let us in as long as we left by 7 pm. We left the ordering to my partner, and everything was delicious. We ended with the most expensive sushi, and despite drinking quite a bit of sake and beer, the total bill was just under 16,000 yen for the three of us. We decided to come back for lunch next time!

During our trip, my friend who lives in Sapporo made a reservation for us at a popular restaurant. It was fully booked even when we went, so I'm glad we had a reservation. It happened to be a family's birthday at the same table, so my friend celebrated by putting a candle in the sweet shrimp sashimi platter (the platter was made of wood so no fire). The sweet shrimp lived up to its name and was delicious. Of course, we couldn't leave out the Zangi when in Hokkaido. It was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and delicious as expected. We enjoyed other dishes as well.

This is the perfect restaurant for entertaining friends from Tokyo. The seafood is delicious, but the fresh sweet shrimp sashimi platter is especially popular. The whelk is also quite tasty. We stayed until closing, as it was a cozy restaurant. Thank you for the meal!

Located conveniently near Sapporo Station, this popular restaurant is easily accessible via the underground passage, making it a great choice even in bad weather. Reservation is a must as it tends to fill up quickly. I enjoyed fresh scallops, sweet shrimp, and flounder sashimi. The asparagus tempura was crispy, sweet, and truly Hokkaido-style. Lastly, we were served a complimentary miso soup which was a bit strong in flavor but had a delicious fish broth taste. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

The restaurant was fully booked but we managed to get a seat at the counter for our family of three. The food was delicious. The chef seemed a bit unfriendly, but maybe that's just how chefs are. The young staff members were doing their best. The menu had a variety of dishes like shirako, oysters, tekka maki, sushi, and a good selection of drinks. The next day in Shin Sapporo, I happened to come across the same restaurant's shirako inari. Of course, I bought it. It was okay.

Arrived in Sapporo from New Chitose Airport! After a quick visit to the office, we gathered at Asti underground for a drink at the classic Nisshichi! This familiar course feels nostalgic! After quenching our thirst with a fresh Sapporo Classic beer, we started with the sweet shrimp kejan! Instead of snow crab, we had sweet shrimp kejan which was marinated well and packed with flavor! It goes perfectly with beer! Next, we had a sashimi platter with fresh bluefin tuna, yellowtail, herring, flounder, scallop, and surf clam! The freshness of the seafood was outstanding! The bluefin tuna was flavorful, yellowtail had perfect fattiness, and herring was a unique Hokkaido specialty! The octopus cartilage grill had a crispy texture and a delicious salty taste that complemented the sweetness of the octopus! We enjoyed it with another beer! Seafood chawanmushi was filled with seafood and had a smooth texture, perfect to pair with sake! The ikura sashimi was a whole piece of salmon roe, offering a crunchy texture and rich flavor! The grilled fresh seaweed had a fragrant aroma and a taste of the sea, making it a great snack with drinks! We then toasted with Amber Ebisu beer to end the meal! Despite planning to have a light drink, we ended up eating a lot and had a great time! After checking into the hotel, we continued the night with a second round in Susukino! Tonight, we will drink until late!

I was surprised to find that they were out of both hair crab and sweet shrimp when I suddenly went there! However, the lightly salted kazunoko (herring roe) and crispy fried kusube (a type of fish) were delicious, and went well with alcohol. I also enjoyed another serving of pickled herring and octopus sashimi!

This was my first visit to this restaurant. The interior was beautiful, and we had a private room for our dinner meeting. We enjoyed the specialty sweet shrimp sashimi so much that we had seconds! We also had buttered potatoes, a sashimi platter, tender octopus simmered dish, salad, and more. After that, we switched to Japanese sake and had a great time enjoying Kuni MARE served in a masu cup. The way it was poured was amazing! It was a fun and enjoyable gathering.

Second night visit (including lunch, third visit overall). This time, we used a private room with a raised tatami area. We tried the famous Sweet Shrimp Masu Mori (1300 yen) for the first time, along with sashimi, grilled dishes, and fried dishes. The quality was indeed high overall (although the hokke fish was a bit small compared to expectations). The Sweet Shrimp Masu Mori, in particular, lived up to its reputation with its sweet and rich miso flavor, offering great value for the price and definitely worth ordering. However, as was the case with the reservation phone call, the service seemed a bit lacking in sincerity, which was somewhat disappointing, albeit unintentional. Overall, the food (especially the sashimi) and the calm atmosphere were great, so if the service improves a bit, it could be a valuable option for entertaining guests.

I can't believe you can enjoy such a wonderful Negitoro bowl for 1,320 yen. The Negitoro bowl is so creamy and delicious. I start drooling just thinking about it. And while eating, I can't help but drool all over the place, I'm sorry for being so messy. Even after finishing, the lingering taste makes me drool again. In the end, this exquisite Negitoro bowl stole all my saliva. It's just too delicious.

Next time, I'll try something different! The counter was almost full. I've never used the tatami seating area before, so that's uncharted territory. It was about half full. Seafood Sake Brewery 231 is located a 2-minute walk from Sapporo Station. This seafood izakaya on the basement floor 1 of Asty 45 specializes in selecting delicious food from Masumoe. I reserved a takeout of "Masumoe Battera" that I bought last time at "Kita Kitchen" because it was delicious. I also had lunch. The Nigiri Matsui set (2620 yen) (with miso soup and chawanmushi) includes 10 pieces. The salmon roe, ikura, and scallops were delicious. The Masumoe Battera set (3000 yen) includes two pieces of herring and kazunoko parent-child sushi. The herring has a deep flavor, and the crunchy kazunoko inside is excellent. This is a superb dish and highly recommended as a souvenir.

Service lunch, grilled Atka mackerel with miso marinade set meal for 990 yen. I arrived around 13:50 on a weekday. I couldn't make it in time for lunchtime and ended up not being able to come for a while, and then Wednesday became a regular holiday. I haven't eaten anything since morning today. After the movie ended, I felt hungry. I wanted to eat at Nijo Market, but it was crowded with tourists. So, I decided to go back to Sapporo Station and have the Negitoro bowl at "231" that I wanted to try. I went into the restaurant before it closed in the afternoon and ordered the Negitoro bowl. It was written that it was 300 grams, so I asked for less rice since I didn't think I could finish it all. The Negitoro itself had a salty taste and was fresh and creamy. The portion size was just right. Thank you for the meal.

The recommended Negitoro Donburi at the seafood izakaya "Kaisen Sakagura 231" was delicious with a generous portion! It came with 100g of Negitoro, 300g of rice, pickles, chawanmushi, and fish broth for only 1320 yen! It's affordable! Plus, you can get a refill of the fish broth! They offer various lunch sets for under 1000 yen, so I'll have to try something other than the seafood bowl next time. Definitely a highly recommended place for lunch.
