On my day off during a weekday in September 2022, I decided to revisit a pasta and pizza restaurant in Fukuoka that is popular among Softbank players, celebrities, and famous personalities. Despite always seeing long lines outside this restaurant, I finally managed to visit after a year and a half. I arrived just before opening time at 5:50 pm and was seated promptly. I ordered their popular dish, "pepetama" in a large serving, which was delicious and had a perfect balance of pasta, half-boiled egg, and garlic. The quality of ingredients sourced directly from contracted farms was evident in the taste. The meal was flavorful and filling, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Despite the slight increase in prices, the value for the quality of food remains excellent. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant, especially during early evening hours to avoid long queues. I will definitely be back for more of their dishes in the future.

I wanted to go there once, and visited on a weekday to minimize the wait time. I arrived around 12 PM on Tuesday. I parked my car at Ohori Park. I waited for 20 minutes. The staff were efficient, so the turnover was good. I tried the famous "pepetama" and the daily special lunch with shiso and Genovese (comes with bread, soup, and salad), both dishes had a lot of garlic. They were simple yet delicious with a good overall balance. If only the wait was a bit shorter...

I received the popular Pepe-tama! This is my second visit since they moved. I liked the old location better because it had a more cozy atmosphere. The staff seemed more energetic this time, and their interactions were a bit distracting, but the taste was still delicious!

I visited "Rarukii" located about a 3-minute walk from Ohori Park Station for lunch. Despite the scorching heat, I walked over to this place. I was aware that this was a favorite spot of SoftBank's chairman. It seems that SoftBank players also use this place, given its proximity to the SoftBank headquarters, PayPay Dome (Fukuoka Dome). The lunch hours end at 2:30 p.m., and I arrived just before the last order, but luckily there was no wait. The staff greeted me with a smile even though it was close to closing time. After looking at the various menu options, I decided to go with the most popular dish, "Pepetama (1485 yen)". It arrived shortly after ordering. The first bite revealed a good amount of garlic in it. The flavor is like a combination of peperoncino with egg. I added the spicy "Larutaba", an original chili oil from Rarukii, which further increased my appetite. This is a must-add. The taste seemed addictive. Cashless payment is not accepted, only cash.

I lined up from 10:30 due to its extreme popularity. Luckily, I was able to get in during the first half. I ordered the "pepetama" and the mentaiko cheese toast. The famous "pepetama" had a B-grade gourmet appearance, and while the taste was delicious, it was a bit weak in flavor and I got tired of it easily. I think the one with asparagus or okra would have been better. The mentaiko cheese toast was delicious. The freshly baked bread combined with mentaiko and cheese had an amazing impact. I thought the naming sense of "pepetama" was good, so I wondered if the popularity was due to its location and naming sense. I don't know, but for reference, I am not someone who often orders spaghetti aglio e olio at pasta restaurants.

I finally went to a restaurant in Fukuoka that I had been wanting to visit for lunch. Perhaps because it was the day after a typhoon, there wasn't as much of a line as I had expected, and I was able to get in after waiting for about 15 minutes. I ordered the most popular dish, the large serving of "pepetama" set. It was surprisingly light, but the flavor of garlic and egg was delicious. I can see why this dish is so popular. Adding a little bit of chili oil enhanced the spiciness and made it more like a true "peperoncino." The large serving was very satisfying, and the bread that came with the set was also big. The only downside is that it's not very cost-effective, and usually there is a long line, but if I have the chance, I would like to visit again.

I lined up 30 minutes before the store opened and was the third in line. The staff were all very friendly. I ordered the popular Pepe pasta and garlic toast. The staff warned me about the large portion of the garlic toast, but it was crispy and fluffy, so one piece was enough. I added some Tabasco sauce to the Pepe pasta to give it a different flavor, as it was tasty but not as amazing as I expected from the long line. I would like to try other menu items in the future.

I arrived 15 minutes before the opening time and there was already a line forming, but I managed to get in on the first round. It was a hot summer day, so waiting until the second round would have been tough. It would have been better to go a little earlier. I had the classic Pepe-tama. When you order the lunch set, you also get garlic toast, which is delicious and highly recommended. The Pepe-tama was undeniably delicious, and when in Hakata, I think it's a tough choice between having ramen or Pepe-tama!

"Hakata L'arcie" is a pasta restaurant that I have been wanting to visit for a while. Finally, my wish came true and I made my first visit. I had heard that it was a very popular place, so I made sure to arrive at least 15 minutes before opening. I ended up arriving at the restaurant 15 minutes before opening, even though I had been waiting outside for 2-3 hours. There were already 8 people lined up in front of the restaurant. As expected, the restaurant was full as soon as it opened, and by the time the food was being served, there was a line forming outside. I ordered the "pepetama" of course, with an extra ¥330 for a large serving. The pasta that was served was completely different from what I had imagined. I had imagined something like carbonara, but it turned out to be a pasta with garlic and raw egg. The aroma of garlic and the gentle taste of the raw egg made for a delicious pasta, just as visually appealing. It was truly a special and delicious dish. My friend had recommended trying the garlic toast along with the pasta, so I ordered that as well. The toast was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, with the garlic butter soaked in. It was served piping hot, so be careful. It was delicious on its own, but when topped with the sauce from the pepetama, it was pure happiness. I want to try the other pasta dishes, so I will definitely be visiting again.

I visited the restaurant for the second time and shared the Pepe Tama and Lemon Peperoncino with friends! The Pepe Tama had a consistently delicious taste! The Lemon Peperoncino was a new experience with a hint of lemon and a strong garlic flavor, perfect for this hot season. I definitely want to come back to this restaurant when I have time!

Wang Zenzhi also loves the famous "Rarukii no Pepetama" that he mentioned. I wanted to try it, so I visited the restaurant. I heard it was always crowded, so I arrived an hour before opening at 10 a.m., but there was no one in line. I waited for an hour and was the first to enter the restaurant. Even though there were only two of us, we were seated at a table for four. It seemed like they considered the order of the line. I felt happy sitting comfortably. By the way, those who arrived after 11 a.m. were not able to enter during the first round! We ordered the Pepetama and the famous garlic toast. Oh, this is so addictive. It's very delicious. The garlic toast is huge when ordered alone. The toast in the set is a bit smaller, so it might be better to share it as a set or between two people!

I arrived just before 14:30, waited in line for a bit. They confirmed that the last order is at 14:30 and they close at 15:00, is that okay? I said yes and entered. We ordered both pasta dishes in large portions. In addition to that, we also got garlic toast and cheese toast. We shared the food but it was too much for us. The peperoncino pasta was consistently delicious, with fluffy eggs and lots of garlic making it like a stamina pasta. I added too much spicy chili oil and ended up sweating a lot. The tomato pasta had chunky tomatoes, bacon, and a tasty soup, and it paired perfectly with the cheese toast.

Comedian Hakata Hanamaru recommended this restaurant, so I decided to visit. I arrived at 10:50, 10 minutes before opening, and there was already a long line of people waiting in the scorching sun. We were finally able to enter the restaurant at 12:50. They provided free tea for those waiting in line, which was very thoughtful. I could feel the kindness of the staff from this gesture. I ordered the most popular pasta, Pepe-tama, the second most popular ripe tomato pasta with asparagus, and mentaiko toast. The Pepe-tama was a carbonara with eggs, as the name suggests. Honestly, I prefer regular carbonara without the egg. The ripe tomato pasta was like a soup, and it was delicious. I'm not a big fan of tomatoes, but I still enjoyed it. However, considering the price of 2,500 yen, the cost performance is not that great. The toast was very filling (as expected)! It was tasty, but the portion size was a bit too much for my age. One regular toast for two people would have been enough. Going for pasta lunch for two people, including drinks, cost over 6,000 yen, so it does feel expensive. I've had tastier pasta before, so celebrity recommendations are not always reliable.

I visited with a casual interest. Due to the long weekend, I lined up 30 minutes before opening but only got in for the second round at around 12:00. It was scorching hot, so they provided self-service tea and salt tablets at the entrance. I ordered the popular "pepe-tama." Isn't that what everyone comes for? Honestly, despite waiting in line for so long to try it, I wasn't very impressed. It had a strong garlic taste and seemed a bit rough. I don't think I would come back just to eat this. I would like to try other pasta dishes and the huge toast.

I ordered the tarako carbonara and pepe-tama. They were flavorful with a good punch and very delicious. For the pepe-tama, they offered chili oil on the side so you could make it spicier according to your preference. Since there are no pictures on the menu, first-time visitors might find it hard to decide what to order, but they have a top 10 list which makes it easier. We lined up around 12:30 and were able to get in after about 30 minutes, which was great.

When you go during opening hours, there is always a long line. After 1pm, the number of customers decreases, so you can avoid waiting in line. The taste is certainly good, but paying almost 2000 yen for just adding an egg to the peperoncino is a bit expensive. The cost performance may not be great. ★If you like this, please follow me as well! Thank you!

I arrived at the popular restaurant about 30 minutes before it opened, and there was already a line forming under the scorching sun. However, once it opened, a significant number of people entered, and since it was a pasta restaurant with quick turnover, even those who were about 20th in line could get in after waiting for about 30 minutes. The menu had a wide variety of options, and I had a hard time deciding, but I ended up choosing the popular pasta dish, "Pepe Tama." The amount of garlic was intense, and the pasta was packed with garlic flavor, but it was delicious and I couldn't stop eating it! The addition of an egg to the Peperoncino made it just the right balance of flavors, not as light as regular Peperoncino. They also offered spicy condiments with garlic, and adding that gave the dish a deeper flavor, almost like a different pasta. I thought the price was a bit high for pasta, but it was definitely worth the wait. I look forward to trying a different pasta next time.

The Pepe-tama was really delicious! It had a strong garlic flavor and a nice balance of Japanese and Peperoncino tastes. I want to try the Mentaiko Salmon Cream next! I think if you go before 2 PM, you can get in without waiting too long.

After eating Katsu Curry Udon, I decided to try this place since I was on a Fukuoka expedition. I took a bus from Tenjin and when I got off, there was already a line forming in front of the restaurant. About 10 people were waiting, but the turnover was decent and I was seated in about 15 minutes. They took our orders while we were in line, so we didn't have to wait long once seated. I noticed that they were also placing menus on tables where people had already ordered, probably to encourage additional orders. The Peperoncino I tried for the first time was a bit bland, like spaghetti with egg mixed in. I've actually made my own version before and it might have been tastier. Adding some spicy oil halfway through did improve the flavor. The pricing was a bit on the higher side for Fukuoka, and the balance between price and taste was not quite there. I'm puzzled why this place is so popular in Fukuoka.

I had been curious about this restaurant for many years as I often saw it on TV. Finally, I was able to visit. I arrived about 15 minutes before the 6 pm opening on a weekday evening. There was already a line forming with about 10 people ahead of me, so I joined at the end. The restaurant was spacious and could accommodate quite a few people. The menu was extensive, making it hard to decide what to eat, but I went with the peperoncino pasta with the optional addition of asparagus and bacon. It arrived after a 15-minute wait. The added asparagus and bacon were plentiful and made me glad I opted for them. The peperoncino pasta had a strong garlic flavor and was very delicious. I was very satisfied with my first experience of peperoncino pasta.

I visited "Laruki" for the first time, a restaurant I had never been able to visit whenever I came to Hakata. I had heard about their rich pasta dishes on a TV Tokyo program over 10 years ago, including a story about the manager sneaking out of the hospital to eat there. When I arrived 10 minutes before opening on a weekday, there were already about 30 people in line. Despite being popular for a long time, it seems that the reputation of this restaurant has only grown, making it a representative establishment in Hakata. Luckily, I was able to get a seat on my first try. I ordered the "pepetama" pasta with bacon topping and a slice of mentaiko cheese toast. First, the toast arrived, looking delicious with a crispy cheese topping and quite a generous portion. The pepetama pasta consisted of creamy scrambled eggs, flavorful garlic, and a spicy kick from red pepper. The scrambled eggs coated the noodles nicely. While the combination of pepetama pasta and mentaiko cheese toast was tasty, the flavors were quite intense and became a bit monotonous, making me feel a bit tired of it. I would be happy to visit again if the restaurant wasn't as crowded. I believe I would have easily finished the meal without any issues if it had been 10 years ago. Overall, I am satisfied to have fulfilled my long-awaited visit. Thank you for the meal!
