During the year-end and New Year holidays from the 2nd to the 3rd year of Reiwa, we had an unprecedented 11-day holiday due to the influence of the coronavirus. I tried various curry dishes and even made my own curry during the break, but on the last day off, I planned to eat curry in Ropponmatsu and buy books at Tsutaya! As I was getting ready to go out, I received an inquiry about a curry restaurant in Fujisaki from Captain My Leviche on LINE. After exchanging messages a few times, it was confirmed that the store would be open the next day based on my information, and the conversation ended there. I quickly moved to Ropponmatsu and chose this Mori Toneli, which was open from this day, among several candidates. It was just before 12 o'clock, and there was only one customer at the counter at the back! I took a seat at the counter, leaving one seat empty. I ordered the Pork Vindaloo A set (with papad and boiled egg) for 1,200 yen, choosing level 2 spiciness. After ordering, an older man entered as the next customer and sat at a table in the back. He had ordered the Mutton Curry with level 3 spiciness, topped with coriander and egg. At this point, I received another LINE message from Captain My Leviche with a photo of the exterior of Mori Toneli, saying that he ended up choosing this place. When I looked back, I saw Captain My Leviche!! He didn't notice my presence at all (^^) I sent him a mischievous message with a photo of the exterior of the restaurant and "It looks like you ordered the Mutton Curry with level 3 spiciness?" He finally noticed my presence and we both burst into laughter. I informed the master and moved to a table seat. As we started eating curry and talking about this funny coincidence, two more customers came in, greeting loudly and entering the store. After a while, Captain My Leviche noticed After Row's I〇be-chan and burst into laughter again!! It feels like hitting the jackpot when this group of people coincidentally come together at this restaurant at this time. I will also write my impressions of the curry, but the professional Pork Vindaloo was truly amazing with a refreshing acidity, spiciness, and umami. The variety of side dishes allowed for enjoyable flavor changes, and the crispy papad had a great texture. It had been a while since I last ate here shortly after it opened, and it has evolved and improved significantly. I have made Pork Vindaloo several times at home, but I think I learned a lot from this experience. However, with all the chatting, the only impression that comes to mind is that it was delicious haha. I would like to come back again to enjoy a leisurely meal.
