On this day, instead of pancakes, I wanted to have coffee before going to the beauty salon, so I ordered a hot cafe au lait to go. It was a very cold day, and since it was a takeout order, I asked for it to be hot. The drink came in a large paper cup, keeping my hands warm and comfortable as I walked to the salon. The cafe au lait was creamy and had a good amount of warmth, just as I had hoped for. The manager, or maybe the owner, a friendly and kind young man, provided great service.
