Wandering new curry mania / rookie ramen mania, a solitary middle-aged man. This is a memorandum-like review. If you are looking for concise information about the restaurant and food, please move on to other people's reviews. I have various restaurants I want to try, recommended by the people I follow or inspired by reviews. Of course, there may be restaurants I want to visit based on my own preferences and mood. I will visit them in order. First, a recommendation from a companion. When I stopped by the building where the restaurant is located. The representative tenant is "Colombo" san. Next to it, there was a suggestion for "such a restaurant". Oh... now that you mention it, I didn't pay attention to this place while checking the crowd at "Colombo" san or visiting the neighboring sister restaurant (the soup restaurant). Hmm... "udon" and "pork bowl" at the other restaurant, huh. There were food samples, and the place had a cool atmosphere. It seems like it has a history of about 50 years, like "Colombo" san. (Actually, it is unclear) But at that time, I had other things to do, so next time. And now, this time. It was a weekend Saturday with only two days left for this season's share bike. Usually, I would depart from home by bike for some exercise. But recently, in the city center (Sapporo Station area to Odori Park area), even a brief stop would result in stricter "checks = warning notices" being issued. Well, if they don't do that, "illegally parked bikes" won't go away. I'm a little late, but I'm going to change too. Well, the bike season is off anyway... So, I went to the city center by regular and share bike. There is a port near the building I was aiming for. The location is Chuo-ku, Kita 4-jo Nishi 4-chome. Basement 1st floor of Sapporo International Building. It's two doors down from "Colombo" san. I entered at 12:15 (Saturday). The inside of the restaurant has only an L-shaped counter seat surrounding the kitchen, with about 12-14 seats. (I couldn't confirm in detail) The counter seats were divided by book stands every two seats. It's a thoughtful arrangement. The height is okay, but a little narrow. Well, better than nothing, I guess? I sat at an empty seat and checked the menu. I decided to go for a menu that caught my eye with the food sample last time and had no reviews from predecessors. Pork bowl fried rice (double), tax included 1,180 yen. I placed my order and started cooking with my partner. The older brother started making fried rice, checking the procedure, seasoning, and frying condition with the veteran older sister as he progressed with the cooking. The work seemed efficient, but they were making sure to get close to the taste of this restaurant. Maybe they just started when I entered? On the other hand, the veteran older sister started frying the pork marinated in sauce in a bag. She started cooking it as the fried rice was being fried. And in 6-7 minutes from the order, the dish was served. It's huge! The dish was served in an oval deep dish that is even larger than usual. In the middle, there was a salad of shredded cabbage and French dressing, separating the pork bowl fried rice. For the sake of my health, I started with the vegetables. Since it's pork bowl, it's natural that it looks "rich". First, when I tried the pork... hmm? I hardly feel the "sweetness" that was mentioned in the previous reviews. It said it was "not too sweet", but it doesn't even reach that level. Did my taste buds become tasteless again? The sauce has a slightly bitter taste from simmering, a faintly fragrant and slightly salty taste, and a little bit of richness. It's not exactly the same, but it reminds me of the demi-glace sauce I had before. Hmm, where was it? Ah! I remember! It was at "Shin Western Food K*zo*"! At that time, it was poured over juicy hamburgers or omelets, and this sauce is...
