The next day after eating the course meal, I wasn't feeling well, but the staff kindly adjusted the dishes to suit my condition. The food was very delicious, gentle on the body, and made with locally sourced ingredients. The view was wonderful, and I was able to relax and fully enjoy my time there.

Warabino Tea Room @ Fukuoka Prefecture ~ Located in Sasaguri Town, Kasuya District, this café is a great place to visit for a leisurely experience. It seems to be situated on the mountainside. Upon entering, you will climb up some stairs. You will see red spider lilies blooming. There are also Japanese silverleaf plants. I wonder if they are edible. The café is a modern building nestled in the mountains. I wonder how they transported the materials here. The interior is stylish with glass walls. Climbing up more stairs, I checked out the menu. I chose the Saga ginger tea for 700 yen and the mochi with black honey and soybean flour for 600 yen. The café has a very pleasant atmosphere. It must be challenging to coordinate the menu for such a unique place that focuses on relaxation, local produce, and novelty. The parking lot was a bit hard to find the shop, but the staff noticed and kindly guided us. We were seated in the middle of the second floor, on a high platform with glass windows all around, offering a beautiful view. I imagine it would be even more beautiful at night. The hamburger was meaty and juicy. The rice and salad were elegantly presented and very delicious. The cheesecake for dessert was also tasty. I would like to try the soy milk warabi mochi next time.

Around 11:30, I visited without a reservation and was guided to wait in the parking lot for a bit before being seated inside after about 5 minutes. The lunch I had on the second floor, with a view of mountains, city, and sea, was amazing. Every dish was delicious, and I left feeling very satisfied. It was a lovely space where I could experience something out of the ordinary, and it only took about 30 minutes from the East Ward to get there.

The weather was nice, so I invited my partner for a drive to Shinorugi. It was my first visit to Tenku no Chabo, about a 30-minute drive from Fukuoka city. We drove up the narrow mountain road of Wakasugi-yama and found a parking lot. Climbing the moss-covered stone steps, we arrived at a stylish concrete building. We were guided from the waiting room on the first floor to the restaurant on the second floor. For dining, reservations are accepted, and we were seated in the front row on a fantastic sofa with a great view. It is recommended to make a reservation to secure a good seat.
We ordered:
- Black Wagyu A5 fillet steak 100g for ¥6600
- Colorful salad with prosciutto and cheese
- Cold pasta with basil sauce
- New burdock and dashi soup
- Mixed rice with shredded dried young sardines and corn
- Almond tofu with passion fruit and mango
- Rare cheesecake with ginger sauce
- Ureshino Earl Grey
We also shared a dessert of soy milk mochi with black honey and kinako for ¥600. The food and sweets were delicious. The view and cozy atmosphere made for a wonderful dining experience. It was a satisfying brunch on a good holiday drive. Definitely coming back, thank you for the meal. Wishing everyone a great holiday today.

I waited for about 20-30 minutes for a parking spot and then another 10 minutes to be seated, but I was able to relax and enjoy the beautiful view and peaceful music. I ordered a matcha float for 800 yen, a soy milk mochi with black honey and kinako for 600 yen, and a matcha with grilled rice cake and red bean topping for 1000 yen.

I was worried as I walked along the mountain path, wondering if there was a shop at the back. When I arrived, I was guided to a seat with a great view as I had made a reservation in advance. The dishes were all delicious, with the quality of the ingredients being well utilized. The main meat dish was tender and refreshing with wasabi sauce.

To get here, you have to climb a narrow path and quite a way up. The inside of the shop is lined with mirrors and the view from above is amazing! With quiet background music and flat seating, it's a relaxing cafe. I was a bit worried that even a small voice might echo, but the location was perfect thanks to the good weather.

A popular cafe often seen on Instagram: A stylish tea house with a fantastic location in the mountains. The lunch was a bit pricey but delicious. The interior was relaxing and I had a wonderful time there.

Based on a friend's recommendation, I went to try the soy milk mochi. I arrived after 2:00 PM thinking that the bad weather might mean shorter lines. I did end up waiting, but it wasn't as long as expected. The staff even helped with parking and allowed us to wait comfortably in the car until a table was available. The soy milk mochi comes in both warm and cold variations. My family chose warm, while I went for the cold one. I had a café au lait to drink. The soy milk mochi looked amazing, and when I tried it, the texture was smooth and chewy. It was different from regular mochi and went well with the hot café au lait. The warm version had a melt-in-your-mouth texture and was also delicious. The staff was polite and friendly, although the low tables made it a bit difficult to eat comfortably. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would have enjoyed the view more if the weather had been better.

I used to visit this place for lunch, but this was my first time having dinner here. The atmosphere was more relaxed compared to lunchtime, which was really nice! The food was delicious too! It was a private booking, and the staff kindly adjusted the lighting for us when they noticed we were taking photos!

This is a café called "Chabou Warabino" located in Shinokura Town, halfway up Mt. Wakasugi, with a fantastic view. The second-floor seats have glass windows, allowing you to enjoy the scenery while having delicious sweets. On this day, I ordered:
- Soy milk mochi with black honey and kinako powder sprinkled on top for 600 yen
- Baked cheesecake with fruits and strawberry ice cream on the side for 1200 yen
The soy milk mochi was soft and delicious, while the baked cheesecake and fruits were amazing. The atmosphere was great as always, and the sweets were delicious. I might go back at night for the first time in a while. ☺️

It used to be 3000 yen before, haha. Now it's around 5000 to 7000 yen. You can choose between fillet or sirloin, but strangely sirloin is more expensive. The portions are almost the same and both are delicious. You have to walk through the mountains to get to the restaurant, climbing stairs. It was the season of autumn leaves, so I could walk through the colorful leaves and pass by an old soba restaurant before reaching the concrete building. Inside the restaurant, when you go up the stairs, you are greeted with a panoramic view through the glass windows. I went in the evening, so the changing colors of the scenery by the hour were impressive, making it a great place to relax and enjoy the view. The live piano music adds to the atmosphere. It's a great restaurant.

It is a glass-walled café towering on top of a mountain. You wait in the parking lot before the uphill climb, and are led inside in the order you parked your car. Overwhelmed by the rumored popularity and the magnificent view! The autumn leaves are at their best, and the timing is perfect. I couldn't decide what to order, so I went with the shaved hamburger. I was charmed by the piping hot dishes. Amazing view, delicious food. There may be a wait, but I definitely want to go again!

Taxi from Shin-Kurume Station costs around 1700 yen one way. There is a hiking trail, which takes about 1.5 hours from Shin-Kurume Station. We had curry at Hisuzu at 2,515m and decided to continue up because a friend from out of town wanted to visit Warabino. It's recommended to visit on weekdays as it can get crowded on weekends. Even on weekdays, the restaurant was quite full, mostly with women. We had curry, so we had dessert and coffee. The restaurant is on the second floor and has a great view, making it perfect for Instagram. It's a great spot for a date or a girls' night out.

After having Sri Lankan curry for lunch at the foot of the mountain at "Hisuzu," I climbed up to visit. Since I was full from the curry, I chose to have soy milk mochi, which seemed light and refreshing. The mochi had a chewy and unique texture, and the kinako topping was delicious! The natural light and quiet atmosphere made me feel like falling asleep.

Waranoy, a stylish restaurant with a great view located in the middle of Wakasugi Mountain. The view is amazing as it is nestled in the mountains, which really boosts your mood. Enjoy a delicious lunch while taking in the beautiful scenery. It's a bit pricey for lunch, but definitely worth it. I have visited multiple times and have always been completely satisfied. Even the desserts after the meal are incredibly delicious. I will definitely go back again!

The spacious interior and large sofas make it comfortable for two people to sit. There is plenty of space between you and the next table. It would be great to visit during the autumn foliage or spring season. This time, we only had dessert, and honestly, the taste was just average. We went during lunchtime and had to wait quite a bit, but waiting in the car wasn't too bad.

The café in the mountains had a beautiful atmosphere and was a very lovely space! It was a very nice café that made me want to come back for dinner next time! The lunch was priced at ¥3500, which included a main dish, salad, gratin, dessert, low-carb pasta, and a drink. Honestly, the price for lunch was not cheap... I felt that ¥2500-3000 would be more reasonable. However, the weather was nice and the view was great, so there were many customers. The service was good, so I would like to visit this restaurant again!

I aimed for this cafe from the station and took a mini trail. Since I couldn't make a reservation, I just took photos and went back. The autumn leaves were so beautiful! There were lots of Instagram girls. Next time, I'll make a reservation!
