Opening before the store opens, you can enjoy sushi made by skilled chefs starting at 150 yen for 3 pieces. I visited the "Daikou Sushi Honten" in Shinsekai during a night out. The atmosphere and detailed information about the restaurant can be found on YouTube for reference. This restaurant opens at 11:00 am, but even on weekdays, there was already a line forming. I arrived 10 minutes before opening and was able to enter on the first round. The restaurant has a counter surrounding the kitchen in a "C" shape, with table seating in the back. The chefs making sushi in the kitchen are very efficient. The sushi menu starts at 150 yen for 3 pieces, which may be cheaper than conveyor belt sushi. I started with a sweet potato shochu and water for 400 yen. To order sushi, you write it down on a memo and hand it to the staff. I ordered grilled conger eel (3 pieces for 150 yen), egg (3 pieces for 150 yen), surf clam (3 pieces for 150 yen), fresh octopus (3 pieces for 300 yen), mackerel (3 pieces for 150 yen), and ark shell (3 pieces for 500 yen). Every piece of sushi was incredibly delicious, with perfectly fluffy rice. I also had sake for 400 yen. I added herring roe (3 pieces for 400 yen), medium fatty tuna (2 pieces for 500 yen), horse mackerel (3 pieces for 300 yen), sea bream skin (2 pieces for 150 yen), squid legs (3 pieces for 200 yen), and squid with shiso leaf roll (200 yen). The medium fatty tuna was particularly amazing, with a refined sweetness from the fat. The red miso soup served at sushi restaurants is always so flavorful. After eating and drinking so much, the bill came out to just over 5000 yen. This is definitely a sushi restaurant where you can enjoy a meal with peace of mind. I've been coming here for 30 years. In the popular restaurant "Dai Ko Sushi" located in Shinsekai, Janjan Yokocho, you can get 3 pieces for 150 yen! It's so delicious and such a great deal! The chef will make each piece for only 50 yen - can you believe it? They also have a variety of daily specials featuring fresh seasonal fish like delicious golden snapper. When you visit Shinsekai, be sure to check it out!

Let's go to Jan Jan Yokocho! Stayed at Spa World Hotel, had a dilemma between kushikatsu and horumon, but ended up deciding on sushi! Visited around 6 pm on a weekday, luckily got the last seat available! 10 minutes later, there was a line outside the restaurant... I'm not good at waiting in line, so I was really lucky. The sushi was delicious and had great value for money! However, since it's a busy restaurant, the staff and chefs are constantly busy, so it's hard to strike up a conversation with them. It's better not to expect much in terms of service. Orders are written on a memo with a pencil and handed in, but for drinks like beer, you can just order verbally. Next time, I want to go when it's less crowded and take my time, so I left the restaurant with that thought in mind.

Sushi for only 150 yen for 3 pieces is a great deal! The sushi pieces are big and delicious. They are made right in front of you when you order. The location is convenient and easy to access. The best ones were the tuna, seared eel, squid, and octopus. I want to go back again because it was cheap and delicious!

I visited the sushi restaurant where sushi originated in volume 3. The cost performance and freshness are highly rated. It's great to have the chef make sushi at this price. I regret not being able to eat my fill because I was on a food tour in Shinsekai. Next time, I want to eat a lot!

I visited for the first time in a year since last July! The sushi was delicious and reasonably priced, and I was very satisfied. The sashimi of sazae was impressive, and both the meat and the guts were delicious! I would like to visit again when I come to Osaka.

I thought there would be three tuna, scallop, and crab miso, but there were actually three tuna and two each of scallop and crab miso. It was crowded, so I had to wait about 10 minutes for the sushi to come out. It's a popular place. I wanted to eat more sushi, but I had to go to the next restaurant.

Around 2:00 PM on Saturday, I went to a restaurant in Shinsekai with two friends. There was a line of about 6 people, but we were able to get in after waiting for about 30 minutes. We ordered 3 large bottles of beer and sushi until we were full, and the total cost was 2,300 yen per person. The taste was delicious, and I think the cost performance and satisfaction level are 120% higher than going to a conveyor belt sushi restaurant.

I was wandering around the street, unsure of what to eat, when I noticed that the rumored sushi restaurant was about to open in 20 minutes and there were only about 8 people in line. I hurriedly lined up and managed to get in during the first round. I ordered a draft beer and started with flounder, blackthroat seaperch, crab, and bonito. Each order consisted of 3 pieces. Everything was incredibly delicious, especially the crab and blackthroat seaperch for this price. I had planned to visit about 5 places this morning, but I decided to cancel that and fill up my stomach here. I ordered more flounder, turban shell, conger eel, salmon roe, and blackthroat seaperch. (The conger eel had a slight smell that wasn't completely gone.) Then I had more ark shell, yellowtail, and crab. The ark shell had a piece with the sinew, which was impressive! Finally, I finished with egg custard. All of this only cost around 5,000 yen. Amazing! I will definitely come back. Thank you for the delicious meal!

Food log rating: 3.49 (2023/07/02) I arrived around 5:40 pm and there was already quite a line. I ended up being seated around 6:20 pm. You write your order on a piece of paper and place it. It's a casual sushi restaurant where you brush soy sauce with a brush. Tuna 150 yen, Tamago (egg) 150 yen, Salmon 300 yen, Squid 200 yen, Shrimp Mayo Roll 300 yen, Kohada 150 yen, Anago (eel) 150 yen, Shrimp 300 yen, Tekka Maki 200 yen. It's cheap, so the quality of the ingredients is appropriate. The tuna and egg especially feel like a good deal. The shrimp is also firm and tasty. The rice is quite delicious, and they also have a variety of side dishes. It's good value for the price, but not suitable for those looking for high-quality sushi. It's great for hanging out with friends or having a light meal. Thank you for the meal.

Perfect bite-sized cute sushi that is just right for drinking. The toppings are solid and delicious, and the price is surprisingly good. I had a satisfying lunch, eating well and enjoying beer. There were many tourists, but also local customers. Definitely want to visit again next time.

It was a good decision to go in, I would like to visit this place again. I was able to enter right after lining up for the opening. The warm tea was comforting. I was surprised by the cheap price of 150 yen for three pieces of tuna. The eel was also 150 yen. When I asked the waitress about the eel, she recommended the seared eel, but it was only two pieces for 500 yen. Next time, I'll go for tuna, eel, and another main dish!

Uma is cheap! The service time at Yamato Honten is also affordable, but this place is always cheap, which is one of its attractions! Sushi goes well with alcohol, but personally, if I'm going to drink alcohol, I want to eat as much sushi as possible, haha. I find myself wanting to eat slightly more expensive toppings! On June 13, 2023, Tuesday, at 11:17 AM, I arrived at the front of the store. Today, I came to Shinsekai with a friend who works at a security company. The South store, located 30 meters away, is closed on Tuesdays. Although it opens at 11:00 AM, we couldn't get a seat on our first try as it was a Tuesday. We were seated at 11:32 AM. We started with the steamed egg custard priced at 300 yen, which was served promptly after ordering. Next, we enjoyed the sashimi of nodoguro for 800 yen. It was fatty and delicious, with a sweet richness. We also had a sashimi assortment for 1000 yen, which included 5 different types of fresh and tasty sashimi. All were squid-based and truly delicious. We tried the iwashi sushi for 300 yen, which was also rich and delicious. The shrimp sushi for 300 yen had a stronger flavor than regular shrimp. We then had the A set for 1000 yen, which included nigiri sushi with sea urchin and salmon roe, making it a great deal. We also tried the kohada and mizunasu nigiri for 150 yen each, which were expertly crafted and incredibly affordable. This sushi restaurant offers fantastic value for money and is truly outstanding. If this restaurant were to open in Kyobashi, several existing sushi restaurants would likely disappear. Thank you for the delicious meal today. Thank you, Atsushi Hamamura. Located in the bustling Jangjang Alley of the new world, this popular sushi restaurant is a must-visit. Despite opening just 30 minutes ago, there was already a wait of about an hour. The narrow arcade made waiting a bit tricky, but it was enjoyable to look at the menu in front of me and think about what I wanted to eat. The sushi is ordered in sets of three, starting at just 150 yen. Despite not being a conveyor belt sushi restaurant, the prices were more reasonable than a certain revolving sushi chain, and the authentic nigiri sushi was a delight. The sushi was delicious, but the highlight was the tamago (egg) dish, showcasing the chef's skill. The tamagoyaki with cucumber roll was delicious. With two people eating until full, the bill was less than 3,000 yen, which was incredibly affordable! I now understand why people line up to eat here. Visited on a Saturday evening. There were about 8 people in line, but we were able to enter shortly after. The price was surprisingly low for this area! I wasn't expecting much, but the sushi prepared by the chef right in front of you was amazing. The fish was fresh. Some of the popular items were already sold out. The eel is grilled before being served, which eel lovers will enjoy. Osaka is truly a gourmet city. I would love to revisit this restaurant when I'm in the area. However, it's hard to pace yourself when there are so many great places to eat in the vicinity.

Osaka, New World sushi restaurant! Daikou Sushi! Ate kushikatsu at Yae Masaru and then went to the sushi restaurant diagonally across. Can you believe it, the price for 3 pieces of sushi was so cheap, we were two people but had to figure out what to do with the extra piece (laughs). I was drinking with my senior in Tennoji and felt like eating sushi, so we walked to Tenma together. We visited a sushi restaurant that I had been curious about for a while. After visiting the Tower of the Sun, I stopped by this restaurant. I may be just an ordinary person, but I feel like I somewhat understand the concept of explosive art. Originally from Hokkaido, I found the content here to be satisfying to a certain extent. There are various dishes available from the third volume, and dining alone can leave you feeling full. The red clam sashimi is creatively prepared with cucumber, allowing for an enjoyable change in flavors. While it may lack the typical taste of red clam, it can still be purely enjoyed. The sea urchin was delicious, and the seaweed rolls were tasty as well. It must have been difficult to select seaweed that fits within this price range, but they have managed to bring out great flavors. I would definitely want to visit again when I come back to Osaka. I arrived a little after 2:30 pm on a Friday and had to wait a bit, but by 3:30 pm, there were already three groups inside as it was time for preparations. Timing of the visit is crucial. I left feeling full and satisfied, and considering the price, it was quite affordable.
