It can be a bit tricky to find, but if you head towards Whity Umeda from Osaka Station, you will eventually get there. The restaurant is located near the fountain square in Whity Umeda, next to Nawa Sushi and Kame Sushi Honten. The original Kame Sushi Honten across the street seems to be closed, so the line forms in front of Kame Sushi Sohonten. We waited about 20 minutes before being seated at the counter, where the sushi chef prepares the sushi right in front of you. The sushi is served in pairs, with a variety of options like white fish, lightly seared tuna, scallops, and more. The prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity you get. Visited the restaurant on a Saturday at 5:00 PM with a reservation. Saturdays only accept reservations for 3 or more people between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM. There was a line outside the store. Since there were 3 of us, we were seated in a private room on the 3rd floor. We started with a toast with draft beer. For appetizers, we ordered white fish sashimi, shako vinegar, sea bream with sake lees, grilled abalone liver, tuna cheek meat, tekka maki, and butterbur. The white fish sashimi was either sea bream or flounder, so we chose flounder. Everything was delicious and went well with the drinks. We switched to shochu on the rocks halfway through and ordered cockles, fatty tuna tekka maki, and more shako vinegar because we liked it. When asked for the last order 30 minutes before closing, we ordered sword squid, kombu with eggs, egg, amberjack, and conger eel for the finale. We also ordered red miso soup. We were full and very satisfied.

Osaka Umeda Kame Sushi
Due to the increasing number of foreigners, there was quite a line, with a wait of about one hour... After considering giving up multiple times, the beer after the one-hour wait was the best.
