I went to this restaurant after watching rakugo at Tenma Tenjin Shochiku in February 2018. Despite being late, I was able to enter the restaurant around 9 pm as it is quite close to Higashi-Umeda Station. Phew! Last order is at 10 pm... When I called to inform them I would be late, they were very polite. I decided to order a la carte instead of a course menu due to my lateness, and the menu had a wide variety of dishes made with high-quality ingredients, which was fantastic. The sashimi platter with buri, kanburi, and honmaguro was delicious, especially the chutoro tuna. The dashimaki tamago with Yamato nadeshiko eggs was juicy and tasty. The Yagumo tofu from a long-established Kobe shop was rich and incredibly delicious. The deep-fried tofu I ordered initially was so delicious that I ended up ordering the extra silky tofu as well. However, the grated yam with wasabi in the 4-item sake appetizer plate was too salty for my taste. Overall, the dishes were plentiful and satisfying. The staff was friendly and the service was good. The food was served promptly and the atmosphere was luxurious and pleasant, even though the table seating didn't offer a view of the night scenery. I really liked this place and would love to visit again.

After 4 years, we had a reunion party with our classmates. As we are getting older, more people preferred a daytime event this time (laughs). Surprisingly, we had a lot of participants for the daytime event, even though there are usually fewer people at night. We thought the food would be typical chain restaurant fare, but we were pleasantly surprised. We had chawanmushi with shrimp dumplings and crab sauce, a sashimi platter with yellowtail and tuna, crab miso gratin, fried chicken tempura with tofu, steamed black pork and Chinese cabbage with sesame sauce, and tai meshi (sea bream rice). Everything was delicious, especially the tai meshi which was so good we had seconds with some dashi poured over it. It was amazing. Thank you for the wonderful meal. The food was so good that we will definitely consider having another party here.

Sakura-san, who comes regularly, made a reservation today because I had some business in Umeda. It's nice that the menu changes depending on the season so you don't get bored. I love cockles, and I was happy to discover them on the menu! The seasoning was just right and there was plenty of them. The sea bream sashimi was delicious as usual. The beef tendon stew was melt-in-your-mouth tender, the salmon yukhoe had the perfect seasoning, and the sweet potato paired well with gorgonzola and had a great aroma. The eggplant simmered dish had a variety of ingredients like pumpkin, zucchini, shiitake, maitake, and enoki mushrooms, all with a gentle yuzu flavor. As always, the meal ended with soba noodles, which were light and perfectly cooked. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I ordered the crab cream croquette set for 1500 yen, which came with a main dish, side dishes, and all-you-can-eat sea bream rice. The side dishes included sautéed burdock root, fried chicken, steamed egg custard, and pickles. For dessert, a bite-sized almond jelly was also included. The sea bream rice had a rich and gentle flavor, and I ended up eating three bowls of it. It wasn't crowded when I went on a weekday, but it seems like making a reservation would be a good idea.

This was my third visit! You can choose a main dish, and all come with all-you-can-eat sea bream rice. I had been having beef sukiyaki before, but this time I had crab cream croquettes. The main dish, miso soup, and side dishes were all gently and elegantly seasoned and very delicious! Some may think that the lunch is a bit expensive at around 1500-2000 yen, but considering the all-you-can-eat sea bream rice, variety, and taste, I think it's very satisfying. The sea bream rice, which is surely the highlight for everyone, has a nice ginger flavor and goes well with the delicious side dishes. However, since it's a popular spot on social media, it's recommended to make a reservation on weekends as it tends to be fully booked. Sometimes there may be a shortage of staff as there are multiple tasks like taking orders, serving dishes, and refilling the sea bream rice. Despite that, I was grateful for the polite service I received. Overall, I would love to visit this restaurant again! ✨

I had a lunch of deep-fried conger eel and eggplant. It's nice that you can have as much tai-meshi (sea bream rice) as you want. However, during lunchtime, the staff never came to take our order. They advertise the tai-meshi as all-you-can-eat, but it takes a while for them to bring it. In any case, the staff is not enough. The waiting time is longer. The taste is average, but with the attitude of the staff, it's hard to enjoy the meal. I won't come back.

During the Obon holiday, my friend made a reservation for lunch on Sunday. We arrived 5 minutes before our 12 o'clock reservation time. At the entrance, there was a sign saying that the restaurant was fully booked for reservations today. Luckily, we were able to get in. However, there were many people waiting outside. It was hard to see what was happening inside. Finally, a staff member came and started seating people one by one. It seemed like they were having a hard time due to the large number of people already inside. We each ordered different dishes, all of which came with unlimited tai-meshi (sea bream rice). Since I had eaten a lot of sashimi at home the day before, I decided to go for the crab cream croquette. The croquette was delicious, but maybe it needed some sakura shrimp cream sauce? After all, it's a cream croquette. Maybe they should have used crab instead (laughs). The chawanmushi was a bit cold, and the chicken nanban had a strong sour taste, but it wasn't bad. The best dish was definitely the tai-meshi, which I had two servings of. They also had a set to make tai-chazuke, which seemed interesting. When we went to pay, there was no one at the counter. Even the staff member we saw when we were leaving our table seemed to be gone. It seemed like there was a miscommunication between the older ladies waiting at the entrance and us waiting to pay. We joked about doing a "dine and dash" but of course, we wouldn't actually do that. It must have been tough with fewer staff working during the Obon holiday. Thank you for the meal.

I arrived at the restaurant at 12 o'clock. I was seated at a window table where I could enjoy the view outside without waiting. I ordered yellowtail and salmon tartare. The side dishes like chicken nanban and all-you-can-eat sea bream rice were delicious too! The view and the food were both great, so I think it's a good place for a date!

It has been a while since I had a business lunch in Osaka Umeda. I was tempted by the all-you-can-eat second helping of sea bream rice and decided to visit for the first time. I ordered the classic menu item "Deep-fried conger eel with plum and shiso leaves, and deep-fried eggplant." It came with a few side dishes and a chawanmushi, a perfect combination in the Kansai style. The deep-fried dish included conger eel, eggplant, and plenty of tofu in a thick sauce with crispy chopped plum sprinkled on top. This type of main dish is rarely seen in the Kanto region, so it was a fulfilling lunch. However, it was evident that the floor staff was understaffed due to the size of the floor and the number of customers. They were running around in a rush to meet customers' requests (orders, additional sea bream rice, tea refills, etc.), which caused delays in serving the meal. I interpreted this as being due to a shortage of staff. I would like to honestly say that the food was worth a repeat visit, but...

Looking at Instagram, the view from Grandvrio is amazing, especially at night. The lunch buffet with sea bream rice for 1500 yen is decent. I personally wouldn't go back, but for those under 25, it might be worth it as the young couple next to me kept getting refills. I won't judge the taste as it's a matter of preference. The staff's service was neither good nor bad. Considering the size of the restaurant in Osaka, it seems to attract customers.

First visit with a friend. "All-you-can-eat sea bream rice". The flavor of ginger is refreshing, and the sea bream is tender, making you want to eat as much as you want. I don't eat raw eggs, so I asked for it without eggs, but they beautifully arranged the salmon on top of the yukhoe. The fish is oily, the chicken nanban, chawanmushi, miso soup, and almond jelly were all delicious. Be careful not to leave other dishes uneaten because you eat too much sea bream rice (laughs). I was full, and it's a cost-effective restaurant.

I went to Sakuran for lunch with a friend after a long time! We were drawn to the menu featuring summer flavors, so we ordered the Go-Kase Grape Amberjack and Oku-Hinata Salmon Sesame Yukke set. The lunch also came with all-you-can-eat Tai Meshi (sea bream rice) and we also ordered some dashi to enjoy Ochazuke as a finale. The side dishes were all delicious and we left the restaurant satisfied with the meal. Despite being busy, the female staff in the restaurant were very friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed before we even asked. However, when it came time to pay, we had to wait for quite a while as there was no one at the cash register, and the suit-wearing man who eventually came to help us was very unfriendly. He did not seem to be part of the regular waitstaff and his abrupt and unwelcoming attitude at the end of an otherwise enjoyable and tasty lunch was a bit disappointing.

Hankyu Grand Building 26F "Sakura". I went here for lunch on the day of my trip. I had reserved two window seats a few days ago. It's a clear day, and the view is fantastic! I'm glad I chose the window seats. The Matsukado set for 2500 yen is a limited menu with a variety of dishes that are visually appealing! Sashimi, sesame seed-encrusted sea bream, chicken nanban, chawanmushi, mapo tofu, and simmered Manjuya peppers... all delicious (^-^) The sea bream rice also has plenty of sea bream and tastes great. This rice comes in a wooden rice container, and you can have as many refills as you like. Finally, pour the broth over the sea bream rice for a delicious finish. Since dinner was planned for late, I made sure to have plenty of refills. I'm full. The view is amazing, and the sun doesn't shine directly into the restaurant, so it's comfortable. I think the night view would be lovely too. If you're interested in the restaurant, please save it from this post (^-^)

This is a restaurant located on the 27th floor of Hankyu Grand Building Soratei Dining. The view was really nice as you would expect from a high-rise location. When making a reservation, only window-side couple seats were available, so my friend and I had lunch there. The view from our seats was truly amazing! I highly recommend it. For lunch, you can have all-you-can-eat tai-meshi, and if there are two or more people, it comes out in a pot from the beginning. The main dishes were delicious, but personally, I loved the chicken nanban. It's included in every lunch set, so be sure to try it! It seems like you can enjoy dinner while looking at the night view, so I plan to visit for dinner next time.

I arrived 10 minutes before my reservation and was not happy with the service as they only seated me when it was close to my reservation time, making me wait outside in a crowded area. The food was average, with the chicken nanban lacking acidity and the tartar sauce not to my liking. I did not ask for seconds of the sea bream rice dish.

The view from the 27th floor of the building is amazing. I had a delicious dish of Kochi-produced "kinmedai" and sesame-seared bonito tartare for 1,700 yen, plus an additional 300 yen for the set with tai-chazuke (sea bream rice). The tartare was really good. I ended up having three helpings of tai-meshi (sea bream rice) and now I'm full after finishing with tai-chazuke.

I often visit Sakura, but today I came suddenly so there were no available table seats. The menu changes depending on the season. The Dekopon wrapped in prosciutto, with the fruit inside changing seasonally, was most delicious when it was Muscat. The Fourma Pork nuggets came with sauce, but they were tasty enough on their own. The Mapo cheese with Asakoi tomatoes was small but flavorful, providing a satisfying taste. I forgot to take photos of the simmered sea bream roe. The eel and beef rolled omelette is also recommended. To finish, I had steamed soba noodles.

Having dinner at Sakurazaka-san. Normally we go to the Marunouchi Building branch, but this time we went to the restaurant on the 27th floor of the Granbell Building. The seafood dishes are really delicious here. We had our meal in a semi-private room, so we were able to relax and enjoy some delicious food and drinks.

I am a member of Club Dynac and I sometimes receive campaign postcards. This time, I went out with some friends to the Spring Kochi Fair where they recommended dishes like spring Kinmedai and Shimanto pork. We ordered salads, dashimaki tamago, sweet and sour fried shrimp, and spring rolls, all of which were delicious and went well with the drinks. The buckwheat noodles at the end were smooth, light, and tasty. The restaurant was quite crowded even though it was a Wednesday, but being located on the 27th floor of Hankyu Grand Building, it's no wonder it's popular. There are private rooms available, so I often organize parties here. When in doubt, Sakura is always a safe bet. I will definitely visit again.

I went for lunch here. Despite opening at 11:30, there was already a long line forming about 15 minutes before opening! Surprisingly, most of the people in line were female customers. The main attraction here is the all-you-can-eat tai-meshi (sea bream rice), but all the set meals that come with it looked delicious. I decided to order the beef sukiyaki tofu set, which included: - All-you-can-eat tai-meshi - Beef sukiyaki tofu - Chicken nanban - Chawanmushi (savory egg custard) - Side dish - Pickles - Miso soup - Yogurt All this for 1700 yen seemed like a great deal! Even though the tai-meshi was the highlight, the side dishes and pickles filled me up quite a bit. Instead of water, they served barley tea, which was a nice touch. The beef sukiyaki tofu was slightly sweet and the meat was decently tasty. Personally, I enjoyed the chicken nanban and chawanmushi the most. The tai-meshi had a light seasoning that complemented the side dishes well. For an additional 300 yen, you could have ochazuke (rice in tea) which I might try next time. Sitting by the window, you could enjoy the urban view of Umeda, offering a different ambiance during lunch and dinner. Thank you for the meal!
