I ordered the thick-cut pork cutlet (200g). The meat itself is not seasoned much, so it tastes delicious with sauce or salt. The breading is not burnt, but I did taste a slight bitterness from it. The free refills for rice and miso soup (switches to clam soup after the second serving) are very appealing.

I had some business near Kintetsu Uehommachi Station and came to this place. The restaurant is quite spacious. I ordered the thick-cut pork soup. The batter seemed a bit tired, and the meat was tender, but it felt like it had been processed in some way. It lacked juiciness. The pork soup had a decent amount of volume. Thank you for the meal.

I wanted to eat tonkatsu for the first time in a while, so I visited this place. I had the mixed plate with shrimp fry, pork cutlet, and loin cutlet, along with chawanmushi, miso soup, rice, and unlimited cabbage. The breading was crispy and had a good texture. The tartar sauce, tonkatsu sauce, and green shiso dressing were all delicious. The table was spacious, so I was able to eat slowly.

Tonkatsu restaurant located on the restaurant floor of Kintetsu Uehommachi store. It was crowded everywhere at 12:30, and we also had to wait for 4 groups. We were seated earlier than expected, but it took about 25 minutes for the tonkatsu to be served. You can have unlimited refills of cabbage and rice. The usual pork cutlet is already overshadowed by the brand pork cutlet, which is taking the spotlight. I managed to find the usual pork cutlet hidden in the menu, and ordered it with fried squid on top. Shortly after, the cutlet arrived, fried to a burnt crisp. It was cooked white all the way through, which is good. However, the taste was just okay. The fried squid was also just okay. Only the edges of the pork cutlet had a slightly pink hue, indicating that it was not fried enough. In conclusion, I prefer the usual pork cutlet from Washoku without the added extras.

From the moment I wake up in the morning, my mouth starts craving tonkatsu like a mischievous person. Despite my age, I still love fried food, I can't resist it, I'm a nice middle-aged person. Today, I visited "Inaba Washou Tonsho" early in the day, so the restaurant was empty except for me. The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. I was contemplating between the 200g loin katsu for 1950 yen or the fillet loin katsu for 1480 yen while looking at the showcase outside, but I ended up choosing the latter since I wanted to try both. After a while, they brought me the freshly fried katsu. You can have unlimited rice. Also, the clam soup and cabbage are also refillable, which is a nice service. You can change to miso soup for an additional 250 yen, but I was happy with the clam soup since I drink alcohol every night. On the table, there is green shiso dressing and special tonkatsu sauce. It's a bit hard to tell from the picture, but the tonkatsu seemed a bit small... maybe it's just my imagination? Well, I should have ordered a larger one. The breadcrumbs are crispy and absorb the sauce well. The fillet is tender with a good texture and delicious, although I prefer it a bit juicier. Maybe it's because I drank too much last night, but the clam soup was so delicious that I had seconds. I also had seconds of cabbage and rice, and I was satisfied for the time being. I probably could have gone all out with the 200g loin katsu alone.

There was only one group of customers, so I could relax and enjoy my meal. It's a good time to visit when there are fewer customers. The menu is extensive, making it hard to choose. I ordered a set of shrimp fry and tonkatsu, which came with chawanmushi, a nice bonus. The crispy coating with large breadcrumbs was delightful, and the shredded cabbage was tasty. The miso soup served was clam soup, a comforting taste that I haven't had in a while. I used the parking lot at Kintetsu Department Store, which is free for up to 2 hours with purchases over 3,000 yen. It's convenient for dining only. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I had some errands to run so I decided to have lunch in Uehonmachi. My husband loves the shops in Kintetsu Department Store, so he was really excited. This time, we decided to have tonkatsu at Inaba Wasachi Tonsho. The restaurant had a great view of the building, and we got a table by the window with an open atmosphere. It was a 6-seater table, so there was plenty of space for the stroller. They provided kids' cutlery and chairs, and the set meal came with cabbage, miso soup, and rice with free refills. Our 2-year-old upgraded the miso soup to tonjiru and ate some vegetables along with my tonkatsu. Looking back, when he was around 1 and a half years old, we used to go to set meal restaurants where rice was free, so it felt nostalgic. At around 2 years old, he only ate white rice, fried chicken, udon, and dried daikon radish, so I was happy that he could now eat tonkatsu. This restaurant seemed a bit pricier than regular Wasachi, but it seems to be a higher-end brand. They even had a stove for hot pot. I would love to go back again. For lunch, I had the Uehommachi Gozen for 1380 yen. It includes a bite-sized pork cutlet, shrimp fry, horse mackerel fry, and 3 side dishes. Rice, miso soup, and cabbage are free for seconds. They provide sauce and shiso dressing on the table. The cost performance is very good. The oil used is good quality, and I didn't experience any heartburn. Even with bad teeth, I was able to enjoy it very much.

After working out, I decided to treat myself to some meat and stopped by a tonkatsu restaurant in Kintetsu near Osaka Uehommachi. The restaurant, Restaurant Flower, was a bit crowded, but this place was empty. I was seated at a spacious table for four, and I had a comfortable time looking out at the buildings around Kitahama. I ordered the lunch set which seemed like the best deal, including tonkatsu and menchi katsu for 1359 yen. The place was spacious and cool, making it a comfortable dining experience. The menchi katsu was a bit difficult to eat as the breading was too powdery and there was too much of it. I had to remove some of the breading before eating. The tonkatsu had a strong pepper flavor, but it was tasty with tonkatsu sauce, although I missed having mustard. The charm of tonkatsu was somewhat diminished without mustard or rock salt. The soup was the traditional shijimi clam soup from Wasaku, but the amount of clams had decreased significantly. The charm of the soup seemed to have faded without the generous amount of clams. Overall, the set of tonkatsu and menchi katsu was enjoyable in the cool atmosphere of Kintetsu Department Store, even though the soup lacked its former appeal. The frequent refills of tea were appreciated, and I had a pleasant dining experience.

I feel like I haven't had enough vegetables, so I really want to eat a lot of cabbage! I went to a place where I can get refills nearby as soon as it opened at 11:00. I had oyster fry and pork cutlet set meal on the 12th floor of Kintetsu Uehommachi store. The oyster fry and pork cutlet were crispy and delicious. I enjoyed lots of cabbage, rice, and miso soup with clams with free refills. It was so nice! The seats at the back have a nice view from the large windows. Thank you!

Located on the 12th floor of Kintetsu Department Store in Ue Honmachi, this tonkatsu restaurant is spacious and simple inside. The customer service is excellent, and they even serve hojicha tea after the meal. This time, I ordered the Rosu Katsudon for 1159 yen. It came with refillable shredded cabbage, miso soup with clams, and pickles. The quality of the Rosu Katsu in the donburi was excellent, but I felt the seasoning was a bit light for a katsudon.

The staff's service was good. The conger eel cutlet and shrimp cutlet were delicious. The pork cutlet had a bit more fat, so it's more suitable for those who like that. Next time, I want to try the pork tenderloin cutlet. It's great that you can get refills of rice, cabbage, and miso soup.
