Located in the area of 2-2-7 Rokumonsu, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City - a 7-minute walk from Rokumonsu Station on the subway, along National Route 202 (Kokutai Road) and near Fukuoka Gokoku Shrine. This place is set to open in May 2023! Operated by "Wanzto Line Co., Ltd./Osaka", known for its nationwide expansion of "pork bowl" restaurants in Tokyo, Osaka, and beyond. Fukuoka welcomed its first branch in April 2023 at Tobata Store in Kitakyushu, and now the second branch, Rokumonsu Store, is rapidly expanding through franchising. When it comes to "pork bowl", it is a dish originating from Obihiro City in Hokkaido, where pork is marinated in a sweet and savory sauce, grilled, and served on rice. Pork belly and pork loin are commonly used, offering a satisfying and popular B-class gourmet experience. The exterior is a two-story building with the restaurant on the first floor. Inside, there are counter seats, table seats, and tatami table seats, creating a casual and modern Japanese atmosphere. The menu includes specialties like "Pork Belly Bowl", "Pork Loin Bowl", "Half & Half Pork Bowl", "Seared Cheese Pork Belly Bowl", "Kimchi Pork Belly Bowl", "Pork Belly Set Meal", "Ladies Set", and "Kids Menu/Pork Bowl Set", as well as "Fried Chicken Bowl" and "Pork Belly Curry". I tried the "Beer and Pork Belly Bowl Set". I started with a gulp of beer and eagerly awaited the pork bowl, which was promptly served. The pork belly was delicious, with a satisfying thickness. However, for elderly or those with weaker chewing abilities, I recommend the "Thin Pork Belly Bowl". The special "secret sauce" was sweet and savory, complementing the pork perfectly, just like the authentic Obihiro pork bowl. By the way, you can easily enjoy authentic pork bowl at home as well! I recommend trying the "Tokachi Pork Bowl Sauce" through online shopping, as it's the most delicious one I've tried. Next time, I'll try the "Pork Loin Bowl". They also have a challenge menu called the "Peak Serving", where if you finish it within 30 minutes, it's free, but if you fail, it costs 3980 yen. Thank you for the meal. Enjoy Gourmet Life☆
