I went to Chun Shui Tang because I wanted to drink delicious tapioca milk tea. Only staff who have passed the Tea Master certification can make the drinks there. They have a commitment to no additives and no artificial flavors, which is great. You can choose from various tea leaves for your milk tea, and customize the sweetness and ice level. This time, I chose normal sweetness with less ice. The tapioca was chewy and not too sweet, so I enjoyed it until the end. It's always crowded on weekends, but it's recommended to visit during weekdays in the afternoon when it's less busy at Grand Front. I want to try a different variety next time! Thank you for the meal.

2023.7.22 (Sat) Revisit [Osaka Outing 1st Day] I visited Osaka after about a year to attend a live event. After leaving my car and luggage at the hotel, the first place I headed to was "Shunsuido Grand Front Osaka Store," which was requested by my family. It had been 4 years since my last visit. The last time I was here was before the pandemic, and now, several years have passed... In the scorching heat, I passed through the vast Umeda Station and arrived at "Grand Front Osaka" after a long time. Relying on my memories from the last visit, I headed towards the store but seemed to have misunderstood the location, ending up getting a little lost. After confirming with the information staff, I found out that "Shunsuido Grand Front Osaka Store" was located on the Ume-Kita Square, B1F of Grand Front Osaka. I arrived at "Shunsuido Grand Front Osaka Store" a little after 10 o'clock. I had planned to get a takeout, but since it was just after opening and the store was empty, we decided to dine in leisurely. We were told to choose any seat we liked, so we chose a table in the center. A female staff member brought us water and wet towels, and explained that we needed to place our orders using our smartphones. I have experienced ordering with tablets before, but ordering with my own smartphone was a first for me. It seems that this style is becoming more common nowadays. Although we were not used to it, we first scanned the QR code with our smartphones and placed our orders. ● Tapioca Black Tea 650 yen ● Taiwanese-style Chimaki with drink (Tapioca Milk Tea) 950 yen ● 10th Anniversary Limited Original Eco Bag 2,200 yen Perhaps because it was not crowded, our drinks were served in about 5 minutes. Along with the drink came a collaboration design coaster from Shunsuido x KEITA MARUYAMA. It was so cute! And the tapioca drink served in a glass was a first for me. I had mostly been drinking takeout tapioca drinks, which usually come in plastic containers, so being served in a glass instantly made a better impression. The tapioca drink from "Shunsuido" is characterized by its chewy tapioca pearls, which are delicious. Due to the pandemic, I had hardly been drinking these drinks, so having one after a long time made it taste even better. "Shunsuido" will celebrate its 10th anniversary in Japan on July 27, 2023. A 10th-anniversary limited edition eco bag designed by KEITA MARUYAMA, who designed the store's uniforms, has been on sale since July 3rd, so I immediately bought one. The oriental and beautiful design features a gorgeous illustration of flowers and birds! It comes in two colors, mint green and pink, and I chose the green one. I was able to buy souvenirs other than tapioca tea, so I am very satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

After enjoying drinks and food in the underground area of Osaka Station Building, we headed to the north side of JR Osaka Station for dessert. Despite having visited two places for lunchtime drinks, it was still bright outside. We went downstairs to the "Umeda Hiroba" at Grand Front Osaka. The place we were looking for was a shop we hadn't visited in a while. The last time we went was in 2019, when the tapioca boom was still going strong. Since it was hot, we decided to have our dessert inside the shop rather than as a takeout. The menu offered a variety of dishes from Taiwanese cuisine to desserts. Both my husband and I have been tapioca fans even before the tapioca boom. My husband ordered the "Tapioca Matcha Milk" and I chose the "Tapioca Fruit Douhua". The mildly sweet and cold dessert was a delightful treat after drinks. In hot weather, I would love to have this for lunch, as it offers a variety of textures and flavors that are enjoyable. The chewy texture of tapioca is still irresistible, and I find myself wanting more. It was a delicious meal.

I visited after a year and a half. I ordered the Taiwan parfait, tea affogato, and drink set for 1,600 yen. The parfait had ai yu jelly, tapioca, Taiwan castella, fruits, vanilla ice cream, and was topped with fragrant black tea. I thought the tea would be hot, but it was cold, so when I poured it over, it overflowed, which was disappointing. The drink was Ali Shan Qing Xiang Oolong, refreshing and with a hint of sweetness. You can drink 2-3 cups, and when you finish, they add hot water. It's nice.

I had lunch at Shunsuido, located on B1F of Umeda Hiroba in Grand Front Osaka (*´˘`*)♡ I had the Doujiang Chicken Soup Noodles (*´˘`*)♡ This dish consists of warm soy milk and black vinegar soup noodles topped with chicken. The smooth and light soy milk soup is gentle on the stomach, with the refreshing aroma of cilantro adding a nice touch (*´˘`*)♡ You can also add extra cilantro to your order ((o(。>ω<。)o)). The noodles are slippery smooth and the crunchy texture of the chicken and bean sprouts toppings complement each other well. There are also various types of noodles and rice dishes like Lu Rou Fan and Chicken Rice, all looking delicious (*´﹃`*). It was a delicious meal (❁ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈)ペコリ。:.゚ஐ⋆* Thank you for the feast ( ´ ▽ ` )ノ✼••┈┈••✼••┈┈••✼••┈┈••✼••┈┈••✼ Shunsuido Grand Front Osaka Store 4-1 Ofukacho, Kita-ku, Osaka, 530-0011 Umeda Hiroba B1F, Grand Front Osaka ✼••┈┈••✼••┈┈••✼••┈┈••✼••┈┈••✼

I always had trouble going because there was always a line, but by chance I encountered a morning set with a few available seats so I was able to enter. There was a set for 650 yen including one dish and a drink, which was very reasonable. Of course, I chose the tofu pudding, which was delicious as always. The gentle flavor was excellent. For the drink, I decided to try the yuzu jasmine, which was a refreshing taste. It was so delicious that I wish it would be available at more places.

I went around 11:30 and didn't have to wait in line. Many people were dining alone, so it was easy to get a table. I had the chicken rice bowl. It had a light flavor but was well-seasoned and very delicious. The portion was just right, and I was happy that I could get it as a set with tapioca pearls.

There are no restrictions on movement, and the restaurant is open from 10 am in the morning. I had a late breakfast at Chun Shui Tang. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I had beef noodles and tapioca matcha milk. I wasn't sure if tapioca and matcha would go well together, but the beef noodles were really delicious.

Visit date and time: August 8, 2022, 20:05 After work, I went with two friends to "Shunsuido" at the Grand Front Osaka store. The restaurant is located in the dining area on the underground 1st floor of Umekita Square. I remembered seeing it before, and I had been to the store in Nishinomiya, Hyogo before. I had the "Douhua" with three toppings back then, and it was delicious. This time, I ordered the "Fruit Tea with Watermelon." When I got home, I noticed a small note on the menu saying "Set price +200 yen." I couldn't understand what it meant. There were many other confusing descriptions on the menu as well. Food & Taste: 3.7 The "Fruit Tea with Watermelon" was a drink mixed with watermelon, as the name suggests. However, it also had a tea-like liquid, not just fruit juice. It had a refreshing sweetness that emphasized the watermelon flavor. I personally liked it a lot. There was also a suitable amount of cream on top, which balanced the overall sweetness. It was a good addition. I would have liked it even more if it was served colder. Service: 3.0 The staff provided friendly and polite service. They asked if I needed a spoon (useful for scooping up the fruit at the bottom). Orders are placed by scanning a QR code with a smartphone and selecting from the list. Since I have a flip phone, I couldn't move, and my friends had to do it for me. It may be convenient for others, but I found it very inconvenient personally. Atmosphere: 3.0 The layout allows you to see both the aisle and the interior of the restaurant. There is warm lighting, which I don't usually prefer, but it was helpful for meeting my friends this time. There are transparent partitions between tables, which is important given the current situation, but it made it difficult to hear conversations clearly. There were about five customers when we arrived and four when we left. Cost Performance: 2.7 The "Fruit Tea with Watermelon" was 800 yen. The "Taiwanese Castella Fruit Drink Set" was 1400 yen. The "Eastern Beautiful Girl Gaiwan" was 500 yen. The total bill was 2700 yen. This might be reasonable for a cafe visit, but I personally think the drink I ordered was delicious but overpriced. The "Douhua" with one topping is 550 yen, plus 50 yen for each additional topping, making it more affordable for the general public. Drinks - included in the above. The "Taiwanese Castella Fruit" that my friends had emitted a nice aroma when photographed. They also said it was delicious. That might have been a good choice as well.

At the Spring Water Hall in Grand Front, I noticed a longer line than usual, with people waiting for takeout orders. Surprisingly, the lane designated for dining in was empty, with no staff in sight. Some customers who entered the store ended up leaving for some reason. I asked a staff member and was told that they could seat me right away, but it would take 30 minutes to serve the order. Despite the late hour, I decided to stay as I really wanted a quick snack. The staff seemed overwhelmed, handling both takeout and dine-in orders alone. I ordered the Strawberry Shaved Ice Bean Curd, which was refreshing with a hint of lemon in the strawberry soup and jasmine tea. Although the bean curd was plain, the overall taste was good and the price was reasonable at ¥750. While the chain-like atmosphere may not be too appealing, it is convenient for a quick visit.

Hello, this is Arisu Umeda. I used JR to get to Harushindo for the first time in a while. I got the drink set with food for an additional 500 yen, and I chose the Iron Goddess of Mercy Oolong Bubble Milk Tea, hot. The hot drinks in the store come with a spoon instead of a straw. The Iron Goddess of Mercy tea is really delicious here, unlike other places where Oolong milk tea can be bland in color and taste. The food is also tasty. I think the food is a bit pricey for the quality, so I wouldn't come here just for the food, but the drink set is worth it. I went on a weekend afternoon, so there was a bit of a line.

I don't usually go there, so I was a little lost haha. It's directly connected from the station, so I think the access is good. The menu includes not only tapioca but also Taiwanese or Chinese dishes. There were salarymen coming for lunch. The customer base seems wide. There are quite a few types of tapioca, and I ordered the hot soy milk matcha tapioca! The wait time wasn't long, and the service was normal. The taste was pretty good. There are other menu items that I'm curious about, so I want to go again.

Compared to the peak of its popularity, the hype around tapioca seems to have calmed down quite a bit. I recently visited Chun Shui Tang, and since it was at night, there were some empty seats and we were seated quickly. This shop also offers food menu, but since we had already eaten dinner, we only ordered tapioca milk tea. I chose the Tie Guan Yin milk tea. It was quite a generous portion, unlike the convenience store size. There was a hint of tea leaves, but it might have been tastier with a bit less sweetness. Fortunately, this time there was no issue of tapioca settling at the bottom. Maybe it's because of the straw and the cup. Thank you for the meal.

Located right by JR Osaka Station, on the B1F of Grand Front Osaka Umeda Plaza. It was my first time entering, even though I had passed by before. This cafe is said to be the birthplace of tapioca milk tea from Taiwan. It was a huge trend with long lines everywhere, but now it has calmed down. I chose the Braised Pork Rice (Lu Rou Fan) and Hojicha Tapioca Milk Tea set for 1,350 yen. If ordered separately, they would be 850 yen and 650 yen each, so getting the set saves you 150 yen. I opted for the Hojicha Tapioca Milk Tea over the regular one, as it is less sweet, and it was the right choice. The large tapioca pearls were chewy and delicious. The Braised Pork Rice was not stewed, but rather diced tender pork belly, and the rice was piping hot and tasty. I definitely want to come back.

When walking from Osaka Station towards Grand Front, you will find Szechuan noodles for 950 yen. If you have time, I recommend getting the set with a drink. The sweet minced meat was generously mixed in, and the sweetness was just what I was looking for at that time. I was pleased with it!

I recently felt like I had been eating too much, so I wanted to eat something healthy and decided to visit a restaurant. I was interested in trying out "Douhua," a dessert made from soy milk. Since it uses soy milk, I thought it might be a bit good for my body. The shop is located on the basement floor 1 of the Grand Front Osaka South Building at Umekita Plaza. I sanitized my hands and sat at an empty table. This time, I ordered the following: - Douhua (tax included 550 yen) - Strawberry topping (+ tax included 50 yen) - Mango topping (+ tax included 50 yen) After ordering, it appeared in just a few minutes. The amount of fruit toppings was more than I expected. First, I took a bite of the Douhua as it is. The Douhua itself tastes like soy milk. It seems to be topped with syrup, as it has a strong sweetness. Next, I tried it with the fruit toppings. Personally, I thought it was delicious without the syrup, just with the sweetness of the fruits. This shop is originally famous for its tapioca drinks. They also have noodles and rice dishes that looked delicious, so I would like to visit again. Thank you for the meal♪ 【Shop Name】Shunsuido Grand Front Osaka Store 【Address】4-1 Ofukacho, Kita-ku, Osaka City, Osaka 〒530-0011 Grand Front Osaka Umekita Plaza B1F 【Business Hours】10:00-22:00 *Weekdays until 20:00, closed on weekends and holidays due to the spread of the new coronavirus. 【Regular Holiday】Irregular holidays *Follows Grand Front Osaka *2 minutes walk from Osaka Station.

Recently, I've started to feel like I don't need tapioca pearls in my drink. While saying I'll get tapioca, I ended up getting it without, feeling a bit luxurious. It was evening, so I didn't mind the lunch menu being available. In the end, I just got a drink - a jasmine milk tea with plenty of toppings. It was delicious, with a comforting taste and a nice aroma. My stomach was satisfied. Thank you for the meal. I realized I can enjoy it without tapioca pearls. It was delicious.

I came here because I saw it on a TV show that Matsuko was not aware of. It's my third time visiting. It was a weekday, so I was seated right away. I ordered the Chicken and Ginger Sour and Spicy Noodles (tax included 990 yen). The ginger flavor is strong and delicious! The texture of the egg is just right. I'm not good with spicy food, but this was not spicy at all and I finished it quickly. They also accept various cashless payments such as PayPay.

Visit on a Saturday afternoon to the shop located in the basement of Grand Front Osaka, the birthplace of tapioca milk tea, the Umeda branch of Chun Shui Tang from Taiwan. When I visited Taiwan, I tried the local breakfast that the locals go for, that is Shentu Jian! The shop had amazing names like "Something King," but there were many small and modest shops where locals had breakfast, and Shentu Jian was the taste I first tried. It was a delicious and gentle taste that was hard to describe, and I ate it every day during my trip. I had planned to revisit Taiwan and even made travel plans, but they were thwarted by COVID-19. So, I decided to visit this place in Japan where I could eat it. I ordered Shentu Jian for 650 yen and tapioca milk tea for 500 yen. I had high expectations for Shentu Jian, but I felt like something was missing compared to when I had it in Taiwan. The taste was gentle, but there was something lacking. In Japan, there are many Taiwanese cuisine restaurants, but there are still few places that offer Shentu Jian. I hope Shentu Jian becomes popular in Japan. Also, mango shaved ice, it's strange that it hasn't become popular yet. If the pandemic ends before it becomes popular, I will plan a trip to Taiwan (^○^)
