It seems to be a traditional technique where salt is mixed with a little water to make a paste, which is then used to wrap fish before grilling. The crushed fish was delicious and full of flavor. The simmered tuna with strong flavors, soy sauce, egg yolk, and chives combination reminded me of Korean cuisine, but I have only seen it here. The sashimi, especially the red squid, had a delicious oily texture. I didn't use soy sauce on the table this time, instead I used the appetizer of spicy cod roe for seasoning. It was too intense to eat on its own, even with alcohol. The variety of Japanese sake here is impressive, and the hot "Sen no Rikyu" sake was surprisingly mellow with a hint of lactic acid and cheese flavor. I would love to try the salt-grilled fish and sake set next time! However, the service had too many mistakes, from ordering to explanations, it was a bit disappointing. Hopefully, they can improve in the future, or maybe I'll just stick to ordering the set next time. The experience of dining under the rail tracks (Osaka Loop Line) for the first time was unique and interesting, something you can only see in Japan. I might want to try it again for the novelty of it.

I chose the 5000 yen all-you-can-drink course. The food is delicious, especially the sashimi which is well-prepared, with the flavors of the ingredients enhanced by things like kelp. There are dishes here that you can't taste anywhere else. The cost performance is excellent. However, it was a bit disappointing to be told that the seating time starts 10 minutes before the 2-hour limit, despite the popularity of the place. So, I would rate it 3.5.

I visited Jitchu Hachiku, which I had been curious about for a while. I used it for a girls' night out. I had tried to visit a few times on a whim, but I always gave up because I couldn't get in right away. As it was the middle day of a three-day weekend, I made a reservation three days in advance. According to Tabelog, reservations after 5 pm were fully booked for dinner from 8 pm, so I reserved for 5 pm. It seems that if you make a reservation a week in advance, you can choose your preferred time slot. The first floor has a counter, and we were seated at a four-person table on the second floor. The four-person table had partitions, so we didn't have to face other customers while dining. We ordered Katsu Salmon, Oden with Daikon, Oden with Shirasu and Nori, and a sashimi platter. The appetizer served was mentaiko, which was quite luxurious, with about a third of a piece in a small dish. What impressed me was the seasoning with sesame oil. If you haven't tried mentaiko with sesame oil, I highly recommend it as it is an exquisite combination, almost the best accompaniment for rice. The appetizer got us quite excited. The Katsu Salmon was not piping hot, but the coating was crispy, and the salmon was fatty, pairing well with the tartar sauce mixed with pickled ginger. It was delicious, living up to its popularity as the number one dish. Even though I'm not a fan of oily foods, I would want to order it again. The Oden was lightly seasoned with a clear broth. The flavors didn't penetrate much, feeling a bit lacking. The egg was half-cooked, and the daikon was small, which was a bit disappointing. The egg roll was average. I love nori, shirasu, and egg rolls, but the flavors didn't stand out for me. It might have been better if they were a bit warmer as they were slightly cold. The sashimi platter was reasonably priced, and each piece was quite large. It felt luxurious. I didn't pay much attention, but it seems they included something as a service. However, no one really paid attention, so we didn't quite understand. (I'm sorry) I was really looking forward to it, so there was a slight gap between the taste and my expectations, but the drink menu was extensive, and the dishes were served promptly, perhaps because we went early. I also felt their dedication to fish, so I recommend visiting this place at least once. Although I used it for a girls' night out this time, it seems suitable for various occasions such as dates or drinks with colleagues.

Hmm. I had a reservation for 6:15 pm, but when I arrived at 6:05 pm, there were hardly any customers at the counter. I was asked to wait outside in the heat until my reservation time. When I confirmed, they said, "Your reservation is for 6:15 pm, right?" and I had to wait outside. Inside, you order by scanning a QR code and ordering on your phone. The food was just okay. It took 45 minutes to come out, so we ended up ordering more drinks. I was looking forward to it, so it was disappointing. Since there were a lot of young customers, maybe it's not really suited for older folks...

Everything I ate was delicious! The oden was also delicious with its flavorful broth, but the fish dishes were the best. The fish was thick and tasty, and everything I ordered was delicious. The salmon fry matched well with the tartar sauce and I could eat as many as I wanted. The combination of fish and citrus is often served as an appetizer in high-end restaurants, but this place had the best one. It goes well with sea bream. If you like the combination of melon and prosciutto, you will love it. In any case, I recommend trying the fish dishes!

Seafood yukke plate ¥988, Chicken thigh tataki ¥748, Salmon rare fry ¥878, Crab miso gratin ¥858, Plum wine ¥429. Located under the elevated tracks of JR Fukushima Station, along that bustling street! Everything was delicious~! The yukke had plenty of fresh sashimi, the salmon rare fry was perfectly rare and melted in the middle, the chicken thigh tataki was tender and juicy! The crab miso gratin had a generous amount of cheese, rich and flavorful without being too heavy, it was really delicious! All dishes were delicious without fail, and we were full for about 2500 yen! I was very happy that the complimentary dish was mentaiko. There were many young customers, but also quite a few office ladies coming after work. It was a trendy izakaya with good cost performance and delicious food. I highly recommend this place!

I absolutely love this place!! I had always been curious about it but never made a reservation and just walked around, so I never got to go in... haha. However, the other day, miraculously, I managed to enter around 4 pm for a daytime drink. The menu is extensive with many options besides what I ordered. The drink menu is also diverse. The cost performance is average, but the satisfaction level is higher than that... I can assure you. The crab gratin and salmon rare that I ordered were really delicious. It exceeded my expectations and I was truly impressed. I will definitely go back again. It was delicious~.

Second visit. We had a party with a large group and opted for the all-you-can-drink course. The sashimi was thick and delicious. The famous potato salad is highly recommended. The hot pot had a generous portion. Overall, the cost performance was good and I would definitely like to visit again. The staff's service was excellent.

A shop with many young people^_^ Few old men! It was hard to get in a busy shop! Everyone was having fun drinking and chatting! The dishes are creative and interesting, so I think the menu is good! The ham cutlet was a bit over-fried, but with the egg on top, it fits the bar menu well.

This is a place I always visit last because it's open late. The menu is extensive, so I always have trouble deciding. The taste is great and the prices are reasonable, so it's always busy. The kettle rice can only be ordered at the first order, but it's quite flavorful so I don't recommend it.

With my family of 3, we planned to hop to 2-3 different places for lunch and drinks in Fukushima. However, the first place we chose was so delicious that we ended up overeating and had to give up on our hopping plan. The menu had so many items that we couldn't finish everything we wanted to eat, but it was a lot of fun! Next time we come, I want to try all the things I couldn't eat this time.

We made a reservation for 9 people and ordered a la carte. There were plenty of drinks and a wide variety of dishes. As it is a seafood-focused restaurant, the sashimi and bonito tataki were delicious, as well as the other dishes we tried. Since we were a large group, we were able to order a variety of items including meat dishes. We also tried the horse sashimi, which was light and tasty. Most importantly, all the staff members were very friendly, which made our dining experience enjoyable! I would love to go back again. Thank you very much.

The chicken nanban at this restaurant is fantastic in taste, frying method, tartar sauce, sweet sauce, appearance - everything was wonderful and incredibly delicious. Even though it's a seafood restaurant, it was amazing. Every dish was colorful, delicious, and top-notch. While the seafood dishes were delicious, the non-seafood menu items were just as good. Today, my colleague Macaroni and I went on a drinking spree in Fukushima, exploring various bars. For our second stop, we visited Jucho Hachiku, a lively spot under the elevated train tracks that caught my eye. The staff offered us a table inside, but we preferred to sit outside. They brought us a surprise appetizer of hot pot with tofu, even though we hadn't ordered it. We decided to order seafood yukhoe, a dish with a generous portion that included tuna, salmon, and even firefly squid, which I love. It was served with a special sauce, raw egg yolk, and grated yam, making it incredibly delicious. Macaroni suggested ordering a yukhoe rice bowl, and the amount of food was so generous that it felt like it could serve 3-4 people. I enjoyed customizing my own dish in a bowl, and the flavors were amazing. However, Macaroni suggested going to another place for our next meal, but I was already won over by the great find in Fukushima. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

Fukushima Station's bustling seafood restaurant! This popular spot is always packed with customers! They have a wide variety of dishes, making it hard to choose just one! But when you come here, you have to try the seafood! From yukhoe to sashimi, everything is delicious and goes well with alcohol! The appetizer is tofu (hot pot), which is even better in the winter. A restaurant located under the elevated tracks of JR Fukushima Station in Osaka. The newer establishment has a clean and modern feel, with a cutting-edge ordering system. Customers can order directly from their smartphones using a QR code, which has become increasingly popular. The UI of this restaurant's ordering system is impressive! Each table has its own QR code, and when our group of eight people sat at two tables, we were able to combine them and place orders through LINE approval integration. The system also ensures that orders do not overlap by displaying a thumbnail of the person who placed each order. It's a very convenient ordering system! The complimentary dish served was called "Yudouyu," which was a perfect way to start the meal.

The fish market restaurant is good for casual gatherings. They offer a set menu with sashimi, potato salad, grilled fish, fried chicken, rolled omelette, and porridge for 4000 yen with all-you-can-drink for 90 minutes. You can order drinks through LINE, but be aware that they don't provide small cups for sharing sake. The sashimi platter was delicious. The potato salad is the type where you crush the potatoes yourself. The older gentlemen struggled with ordering through LINE. It's a good place to go with friends, but not ideal for business dinners.
