In addition, I received a variety of rolled dishes. The pork rolls were delicious and comforting. The cheese rolls were wrapped in bacon, juicy and tasty. The hidden flavors like mustard and the perfect level of cooking really stimulate the appetite. The potato salad was piled high and a delightful appetizer. The macaroni was plentiful, leaving me feeling satisfied. The awaited skewers were also delicious. They weren't evenly cooked, but the burnt parts brought back nostalgic memories. The chicken skin and tsukune skewers had sweet sauces that really soaked in! The sausages had a peppery spiciness, and the yuzu pepper added a nice kick. Everything was smooth, sweet, spicy, and fragrant - it was all here!! Enjoying a rock potato shochu in the wonderful atmosphere, feeling grateful for being Japanese and a Hakata local, with cabbage and sauce. All of this for just 4000 yen for two people. Unfortunately, when we arrived after 10 pm, they had run out of rice (T ^ T). Next time, I want to finish my meal here without buying extra from the convenience store, in other words, I will be back again ^ - ^

Nice to meet you. I had dinner at a yakitori restaurant near my business hotel. They have a variety of options including recommended beef skewers, fish dishes, and a solid main course. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was enjoyable. I also received a generous gift of delicious sweet potato shochu from the regular customers. It was a fun and tasty experience at a great restaurant. Thank you for the meal.

I ate well! It was delicious. There is a wide variety of dishes. The marinated tomatoes and pickled ginger were so delicious that I had seconds. It goes well with alcohol. Other must-try dishes include sesame mackerel, potato salad that tastes like soft serve ice cream, pickled cucumbers, oyakodon, seaweed miso soup, everything was delicious! The skewers were also great - chicken liver (large and crispy), red tripe with homemade miso marinade, cartilage meatballs, skewered beef ribeye, chicken tenderloin, quail, and meat-wrapped mochi, all were delicious and I ate quite a bit. The atmosphere of the couple who run the restaurant was nice and it was a cozy place. There were many families with young children, so anyone can feel comfortable dining here.

I bought a one-day subway ticket for work convenience and decided to make the most of it by having a drink along the subway line. This time, I headed to Karatocho and found a cozy little shop called "Yakitori Hiro" on the shopping street. The place was already bustling with customers, including families, and it seemed like a local favorite. I ordered a beer at the counter and noticed they had an interesting dish - tomato and pickled ginger marinade for only 400 yen. It was unique and refreshing, with a nice balance of flavors. For skewers, I opted for a few select items: tsukune (200 yen) and Wagyu rib meat (500 yen). The tsukune was delicious, with a homemade touch and a nice chewy texture from the cartilage. The Wagyu rib meat was tasty, but in terms of value, the tsukune was the winner. I also enjoyed some boiled sweet potatoes while waiting for the grilled chicken wings (150 yen) to be ready. They were cooked perfectly, showing the skill of the chef. Overall, a great find in Karatocho - Yakitori Hiro is definitely worth a visit.

In a yakitori restaurant in Chinatown (what we ordered): Potato salad, pork belly, chicken meatball, chicken skin cheese roll, etc. Also, had 2 glasses of shochu on the rocks which cost 300 yen each. Appreciated. Didn't have sake, but they had various types. The yakitori was delicious but a bit oily. The potato salad was tasty. The atmosphere created by the owner and staff was great and enjoyable. We ordered lightly for two people and it came to a little over 4000 yen. The price for each skewer was normal. Saw a few Hawks fans there. Depending on the time, it might be crowded. If you're looking to have a drink after shopping on Yahoo Auctions, definitely give it a try.

I wandered around Karatocho with an acquaintance and ended up at a yakitori restaurant that caught my eye. The "Karatocho Shotengai" on Sundays had a disappointing vibe, but it was nice that this place was open from evening until late (until 2 am). The restaurant is small with about 4 table seats and 6-7 counter seats. We ordered chu-hi, Caesar salad, yakitori (pork belly, chicken skin, tsukune), dashimaki tamago, grilled rice balls, and a few other items, totaling 3350 yen for two people. I've had yakitori in Fukuoka before, but the pork belly was a first for me. It was juicy and delicious, almost like thick-cut bacon. I feel like I could get hooked on it. There were a lot of customers, and the owner seemed nice, so even as someone who is shy around strangers, I feel like I could go alone. It's a lovely place with reasonable prices. If you want to eat yakitori in Karatocho, this is the place to go. Recommended for those who want to enjoy a meal in Karatocho!
