"If you come to Fukuoka, you must try the Teppan Gyoza✨" - Restaurant Name: Teppan de Ai Hashi - Address: Riverside Building 1F, 4-5-9 Nakasu, Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture - Business Hours: Mon-Sat 17:00-24:30 (Closed on Sundays and holidays) - Phone: 092-262-0488 - Budget: ¥4,000-¥5,000 Recommendation: - Other than gyoza, there are plenty of menu options available. - Teppan Gyoza is consistently delicious. - Despite being crowded, the service speed remains unchanged. Honest Impressions: Located near Nakasu Kawabata Station, this popular restaurant is a must-visit in Fukuoka. The dishes tried were all satisfying, such as the flavorful sweet and spicy chicken wings, refreshing sesame mackerel, and classic potato salad. The steamed gyoza, boiled gyoza, and pan-fried gyoza were all delicious, with the pan-fried gyoza being a Fukuoka specialty that should not be missed. The vegetable-packed Chanpon noodles were a perfect ending to the meal. Definitely worth a visit!"

I visited the "Tetsu Nabe Gyoza Deaihashi" restaurant in Nakasu for the first time in a while, invited by my boss over the weekend. When I arrived around 8 pm, the restaurant was almost full of customers. I ordered hot gyoza and yakisoba. The freshly grilled gyoza had a crispy brown surface on the iron plate. I carefully dipped each gyoza in the sauce and enjoyed them one by one. Since they were bite-sized, I could easily eat two servings by myself. The yakisoba was also delicious! The noodles were chewy and the sauce was perfectly balanced, not too sweet. I would come back just for this yakisoba. I relaxed in a sunken kotatsu seat and enjoyed the delicious food.

I went to "Tetsu Nabe" in Nakasu and had some delicious gyoza. This is a specialty store for iron pot gyoza originating from Kitakyushu. ✔️ Grilled gyoza (1 serving) ¥526 ✔️ Sesame mackerel ¥990 ✔️ Vinegar tripe ¥424 I made a mistake ordering the sesame mackerel, but the iron pot gyoza is always delicious no matter when you eat it!

First time trying out a cast iron pot with gyoza - fried gyoza / boiled gyoza / steamed gyoza. This time I had two orders of fried gyoza. The evening set included beer, kimchi, vinegar miso tripe or chicken skin, miso sauce, and half portion of hormone stir-fry. I also had a highball. The gyoza were tightly connected to each other, making it difficult to separate them, but they were delicious. There are still many gyoza restaurants in Nakasu, so I plan to explore more. My number one choice is ==========

During my trip, I heard that this place is famous, but there was no mention of the one drink minimum on the sign outside. However, it was clearly stated on the menu after entering. Perhaps it's common for izakayas, but I felt a bit disappointed, like being deceived. The food was good, so it may be a good place if you're looking for a drink with some snacks rather than a full meal.

When I came to Hakata before, what impressed me more than ramen was the "Tetsunabe Gyoza" at this restaurant. Even though my stomach is already full, I want to taste it. It may be cheap, but sorry, one serving of pan-fried gyoza costs 526 yen (including tax) and a draft beer costs 528 yen (including tax). One serving contains 7 pieces. It's great! Actually, it would look better if I ordered a little more. The crispy and delicious gyoza that is pan-fried. It's a pleasure unique to Hakata! Hakata has a lot of delicious things, making traveling enjoyable!

The well-known Hakata specialty "Hitokuchi Gyoza" is offered at the long-established restaurant "Tetsunabe." I made a reservation and visited on a Saturday. In addition to the one-bite gyoza, you can also enjoy Kyushu flavors such as "Gomasaba" and "Basashi." Unfortunately, the "Gomasaba" was sold out, so I opted for the "Basashi" instead. It was delicious, with a clean marbling of fat and a refined sweetness. The "Whale Cuisine Assortment" was also impressive, offering a variety of textures and flavors. The highlight was the crispy and fragrant grilled gyoza, which paired perfectly with beer. Hakata's culinary delights are truly exceptional.

After having a sukiyaki dinner, let's have one more drink before heading home! My companion found a great dumpling restaurant. The iron pot dumplings had a crispy yet chewy skin with a garlic-flavored filling. They were bite-sized and surprisingly light, so I could easily eat them all up. They were served in an iron pot, so they stayed hot until the very end, which was nice. The octopus platter and pickles were also delicious. Perfect for pairing with alcohol. It was a great place to have a quick drink before heading home.

The Deai Bridge connects Tenjin and Nakasu in Fukuoka. I sometimes go to the Tekkanabe Izakaya, but this was my first time at the Deai Bridge location. This time, I invited someone who was transferred from Tokyo to enjoy Fukuoka's B-class gourmet cuisine. We tried various B-class dishes, and everything was delicious in a B-class way, making the person from Tokyo very happy. Hopefully, they will come to love Fukuoka! Laughter. - Vinegar Motsu (offal) - Beef tendon in vinegar - Sesame mackerel - Whale sashimi trio - Tekkanabe dumplings (50 pieces for 4 people) - Boiled dumplings - Steamed dumplings - Sweet and spicy chicken wings (tender meat) - Stir-fried leeks with eggs - Yakisoba

When it comes to gyoza in Fukuoka, the first place that comes to mind for me is "Tetsunabe." Despite being called "Tetsunabe," this branch (Deaihashi store) is only affiliated with the main store in Nakasu. I visited here a bit early for a year-end party with business partners. The "yaki gyoza" is a must-try, and as always, the hand-wrapped shape is beautiful. The gyoza served in the iron pot stays hot for a long time. Just be careful not to burn yourself haha. The grilled gyoza has thick skin, giving it a satisfying texture that goes well with white rice. The dipping sauce is rich and enhances the flavor of the gyoza even more. It seems like it would go well with alcohol for those who enjoy drinking. They also have boiled gyoza and miso soup. The miso soup today was a bit too strong haha. Once again, I felt that "Tetsunabe is a must for gyoza in Hakata" and "a gem of Hakata's B-class gourmet." Thank you for the meal - Thank you for reading until the end. I would appreciate it if you could like, follow, and save the restaurant. Thank you in advance.

I used to go to this restaurant often, but this time, my friend came from Nagoya so we went to eat the famous Hakata specialty, iron pot gyoza. We had potato salad, mozuku seaweed, chicken skin, water dumplings, pan-fried dumplings, chicken wings, stir-fried hormone, yakisoba, liver and garlic chives... The gyoza was definitely delicious, but the other dishes were like, hmm... I wonder if they used to taste like this before... Does the liver and garlic chives dish actually contain liver? I don't mind paying more if you could add a bit more.

My friends from out of town wanted to try Fukuoka's famous local dishes, so I took them to this restaurant. When we arrived, we found out that the "sesame mackerel" was sold out, even though it was only 7:30 pm. We ended up ordering the gyoza, boiled gyoza, octopus platter, and potato salad. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

On Saturday evening, I was searching for a Chinese restaurant but couldn't find one that caught my eye. So, I decided to go in the direction of dumplings. I chose to visit "Tetsunabe" Aihashi Store, a restaurant that serves the famous iron pot dumplings originating from Kitakyushu and now available in Fukuoka. The store is a branch of "Tetsunabe" Nakasu Main Store located in Nishi Nakasu. The restaurant started as a food stall in front of Hakata Station in 1963. I ordered the freshly baked iron pot dumplings (7 pieces for 450 yen) along with a glass of draft beer. The dumplings arrived sizzling hot on a skillet, with a chewy skin and juicy meat filling. The wings were crispy and perfectly cooked, and dipping them in the original dumpling sauce added a nice touch. The dumplings remained hot from the outside to the inside, making every bite enjoyable. I also tried the boiled dumplings (6 pieces for 580 yen) served in a flavorful chicken broth with a hint of pepper. The broth was delicious, and the dumplings were a great addition to the meal. I left the restaurant feeling satisfied and full, with the beer complementing the meal perfectly.

This time, we visited the restaurant "Tetsu Nabe De Ai Hashi" located at 4-5-9 Riverside Building, 1st floor, Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City. It's been a while since we last visited. Cheers with a glass of draft beer! It's nostalgic and I love the casual atmosphere here. We ordered sesame mackerel, two servings of dumplings, tomato slices, and sweet and spicy chicken wings. The sesame mackerel was fresh and thinly sliced, with a great texture. The dumplings were bite-sized and served hot on a sizzling iron plate. The sauce was unique and we added some chili pepper from the table to spice it up. The sweet and spicy chicken wings were indeed tender and flavorful, easy to eat with chopsticks. The taste was well infused. Thank you for the delicious meal.

After visiting Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine and Kamado Shrine, we took a break at our accommodation before heading to the restaurant we had reserved for tonight. This restaurant is a branch of a famous chain, known for its small gyoza dumplings served in a local iron pot. We made a reservation for 5 people through Tabelog. Upon entering, we were directed to a counter seat for temperature check and hand sanitization. Then, we were guided to a tatami room after informing the staff that my mother had recently undergone knee surgery. However, due to her condition, we were eventually seated at a table by combining two smaller tables. The signature gyoza dumplings were small and easy to eat, so we ordered 2 servings per person. The dish is served in a large iron pot, which has been a specialty since the restaurant's start as a food stall in Hakata in 1962. The pot keeps the food hot until the end of the meal. We also ordered the recommended local dish Goma Saba, spicy simmered chicken wings, red sea cucumber, broccoli, and potato salad. The vegetable dishes were a nice addition for the female diners. However, the back table area seemed to be a special zone, with neighboring diners smoking and a strong scent of perfume from the ladies sitting behind us. Perhaps this is unique to the Nakasu branch. It would be helpful if the restaurant could have better communication with customers through the Tabelog reservation system.

Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture, about 5 minutes from Nakasu Kawabata Station on the Fukuoka City Subway. This is a branch of "Tetsu Nabe" located on the Nakasu side of the Doai Bridge. The main store along the Kokutai Road is always crowded, but this branch seems to be less busy, so I recommend it. I ordered a bottle of beer, a platter of three types of whale meat, and a serving of Tetsu Nabe dumplings. The three types of whale meat are "une" (belly), "sakami" (red meat from the lower jaw to the lower part), and "oba ike" (tail part). "Une" is the part that is processed into whale bacon, so you may feel a sense of familiarity when you see it. When you eat it, "une" has a strong umami flavor and goes very well with beer. It is a healthy fat for the body. "Sakami" is light and goes well with condiments. "Oba ike" has a unique texture and goes well with vinegar miso. The Tetsu Nabe dumplings have a crispy texture that is not too hard or too soft. It's great. When eating mainly Tetsu Nabe dumplings, it is essential to order one or two servings per person. Thank you for the delicious meal once again.

This is my third stop in Fukuoka Prefecture. This was also a place I wanted to visit. I was too full to eat anything other than gyoza, but as always, it was the best appetizer. With sweet potato shochu highball and gyoza, I could drink as much as I want! I came here with a full stomach, but ended up eating two servings (laughs). I ate too much... The gyoza was amazing, I think it's incredible how much you can eat. I will definitely visit again! Thank you for the meal.

We went to a restaurant in Chuushuu that allows smoking, which was confirmed when making a reservation. I ordered an Acerola Sour, while my companions got a draft beer and oolong tea. We also ordered a set of appetizers including vinegar marinated dishes, mentaiko, and pickles, as well as a platter of whale red meat, whale tail sashimi, and oba-ike whale sashimi. The appetizer set included famous Hakata specialties. I always make sure to eat whale when I come here, and I was pleased to see red whale meat included in the platter. The sweet and savory chicken wings were tender and flavorful. We also ordered sesame mackerel, which had just the right amount of sauce. We ordered 5 servings of pan-fried dumplings, with the first 3 servings arriving on a hot iron pot. They were slightly burnt, but still tasty. We also had highball with shochu as our drinks. Lastly, we ordered miso-stir-fried offal and yakisoba. Although the offal yakisoba would have been enough, we ordered both dishes. It was a heavy meal, but we managed to finish it. It was a nice change to have a meal at this kind of izakaya after a long time.

During a business trip to Fukuoka, I went to this restaurant right near the hotel where I was staying for dinner at 5:30 PM. I went alone and started with a draft beer at the counter. There were 3 solo customers and 3 groups of customers in the restaurant, with customers seated before me. I ordered as shown in the photo. Unfortunately, they were out of sesame mackerel, but the horse sashimi was delicious! By the time I finished the horse sashimi, I ordered gyoza - one serving of pan-fried gyoza and boiled gyoza. The boiled gyoza was like water dumplings, but I enjoyed the taste. Although I could have eaten more, I left room for the second stop and paid the bill at 60% full.

On a regular night around 6:00 pm. It's still empty, but it will be full in an hour. ★Gyoza ¥450 ★Sesame Mackerel ¥900 ★Horse Sashimi ¥1,600... etc., had some appetizers and drinks. The gyoza comes out sizzling in a hot iron pot. It seems to be a specialty, but I didn't find it particularly delicious. The sesame mackerel is consistently tasty. The horse sashimi is said to be directly from Kumamoto Prefecture. It's also delicious as expected. Well, just a typical izakaya, nothing special.

Second stop in Nakasu Kawabata♪ Switching the target to gyoza, headed to "Gyoza no Kyokushin" but it was also closed. Ended up unintentionally circling Nakasu and returning to the original bar, where I found out that "Tetsunabe Nakasu Honten" next block was also packed. However, I discovered "Tetsunabe Deaihashi-ten" nearby, which I wish I had found before circling Nakasu. After walking around, I had worked up a slight sweat, so I started with a glass of sweet potato shochu. Then I ordered more drinks, grilled gyoza, boiled gyoza, and sweet and spicy chicken wings, the famous three items. Both grilled and boiled gyoza were consistently delicious. The chicken wings were tender and tasty. Switched from sweet potato shochu to plain sour with the boiled gyoza as the finish. Since there was still some time left, I will look for the third stop while watching the riverside stalls.
