▶️ Kushiage Sakuya ▶️ Address: 8-187 Kamishirasui, Kasuga City, Fukuoka Prefecture ▹ Located right near Hakata Minami Station A hidden gem for adults in Fukuoka! Enjoy over 20 varieties of seasonal creative kushiage in an elegant and calm atmosphere. Only available in courses, with a set fee and the number of skewers eaten. The vegetable sticks and sauces are all homemade, except for salt! They use specially sourced ingredients like purple asparagus from farmers, natural motsu from Omura Bay, and Miyazaki beef, each skewer showcasing unique flavors and ingredients. The strawberry daifuku kushiage at the end was incredibly delicious. The restaurant was lively with regular customers. Definitely a great choice for a luxurious dinner! #Foodies #Sakuya #FukuokaFood #KasugaFood #HakataMinami #Foodgram #FukuokaGourmet #kushiage #FukuokaIzakaya #FukuokaDinner #HakataGourmet #HakataDinner #FukuokaEats #Tabelog #FukuokaTourism #BeerLovers #Foodstagram #DonmanLog #InstaFood #FukuokaDining #CreativeKushiage #FukuokaDate #DiningOut #TatsujirouAsparagus #Hakata #SakeLovers #MiyazakiBeef #HakataMinamiGourmet

I wanted to eat kushikatsu all day, so I went to Sakuya because it was the closest. I asked for the chef's choice and every skewer was delicious and high quality. I ended up drinking too much sake, so the bill was a bit expensive, but I was satisfied. I will definitely come back! Thank you for the meal!

I went with my wife. We had a course of assorted deep-fried skewers. We enjoyed various skewers, from meat to vegetables. Each skewer was carefully prepared, such as one with cherry tomatoes wrapped in bacon and cheese and deep-fried. We dipped them in salt, ponzu sauce, and other sauces. We also had a fair amount of drinks, so the total cost ended up being quite high. If you limit yourself to 2-3 beers, it would probably cost around 5000 yen per person. We didn't order anything else besides the skewers. They served vegetable sticks as a complimentary appetizer. I would like to go back again. Just one small complaint! They had a sign on the wall listing "Craft Beers of the Day," but when we arrived early, they were already sold out. If they don't have it, they should remove the sign or indicate that it's sold out. Thank you for the meal.

A small shop near my house. The freshly fried skewers are delicious. It's great that you can eat them freshly fried, and the affordable lunch is recommended. I would like to try it at night too.

The restaurant's specialty is ice cream skewers. Overall, I think it's a well-balanced place in terms of cost, taste, atmosphere, and service. The lack of parking is a downside.

When making a reservation by phone, they mentioned that the last order is at 1:30 pm. So, I hurried to leave in order to arrive by 1:20 pm. The restaurant has a parking lot, so you can also drive there with ease. The lunch costs 900 yen and it's a pub mainly focused on deep-fried skewers. The interior is managed by one person, and there were three ladies who seemed to be killing time as the only other customers. The owner is surprisingly young. The meal started with rice, miso soup, pickles, and salad, followed by quail as the first skewer. The batter is delicate and crispy, with a nice crunch. The sauce options are Western and Japanese style, but I recommend eating the skewers as they are. They are well-seasoned and have a good balance of salt. Next came skewers of new onions, shrimp, and stuffed peppers. The shrimp was fresh and bouncy. Then, we had bacon-wrapped eggplant, fish with green onions, and pork cutlet as the last skewer. Each skewer was delicious and easy to eat. Overall, this is a reliable and comfortable restaurant. The rice is also tasty and you can have refills. The same goes for the miso soup, which is well-flavored. Finally, we were served lemon sherbet, which was a refreshing end to the meal. For 900 yen, the quality of the meal was worth it. Whether it's expensive or cheap for lunch depends on your budget. Thank you for the meal.

It is located near Hakata Minami Station of the Shinkansen! I felt like eating kushikatsu or kushikatsu around Kasuga, so I searched online. It seemed like the restaurant had just opened as there were no reviews on Tabelog, but the appearance and menu looked good so I decided to give it a try. Inside, there were three sunken kotatsu table seats and a counter. The owner runs the place alone. I have had kushikatsu a few times before (where you order your favorites one by one), but this was my first time trying kushiage! The menu for February listed about 30 items, and they are served in order from the beginning. It's an interesting system where you stop when you're full. As for the kushiage, you can enjoy it with tartar sauce, miso, ponzu, sauce, or yuzu salt. The crispy coating and juicy inside were delicious. The colorful presentation was also beautiful. The pork fillet was really tasty - a big hit! I want to take my parents there next time!

I went to this restaurant on my way back from Tosu. It was my second time visiting. Last time, I couldn't eat much because I joined in the middle of the meal, so this time I went on an empty stomach and ordered the chef's special course. It cost around 2000 yen. We had various creative deep-fried skewers, such as avocado shrimp roll with basil and garlic (which I think women would love), crab claw with seaweed, and new burdock root with beef (the texture of the burdock root was really nice). We also had prawns, fillet, and fried gizzards, among others. The thin batter was very light, so we could eat more than usual (though I do worry about the calories, haha). There were also various sauces to dip the skewers in, but personally I really liked the salt. Even though it was late on a weekday, the restaurant was quite busy. The owner was also very friendly. Overall, it was a satisfying restaurant.

We use it with our family many times. It's a local famous restaurant. The menu is clear, and delicious skewers keep coming until you stop. I wish my stomach was a little bigger... I highly recommend it!
