The grilled chicken skewers are delicious.

This is a yakitori restaurant located in front of Hakata Police Station. After having dinner at a nearby yakiniku restaurant, my friend and I used this place for a second round. It was just two middle-aged men, so we were able to use the private tatami room at the back for our meal. The yakitori here uses a brand chicken called "Akadori Satsuma" from Kagoshima. We ordered a few items from the menu for our drinking session. We started with boiled watercress as an appetizer and made a toast. Of course, edamame is a must-have with beer for middle-aged men, so we couldn't resist ordering it. We also ordered the chicken skin for 90 yen, which was crispy and delicious. We added ginkgo nuts and yam to our grilled items. Lastly, we finished with the silver cod in sweet sake, which has become quite a luxury ingredient nowadays. Today I had a drinking party with Weekend Angel H and a senior from Tokyo. We met at the Gion intersection and wandered around looking for a restaurant nearby. We ended up at this restaurant near Hakata Police Station. We were turned down at one of the several restaurants in the area before we decided to try "Hachidori." We started by ordering a few skewers of yakitori. I had pork belly and chicken wings. We also ordered horse sashimi. I was surprised by the size of the yakitori skewers, they were quite large for the price. And even more surprised by the horse sashimi, it's not usually priced at 1300 yen. People working around here are so lucky to have this place nearby. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

This is a small yakitori restaurant in front of Hakata Police Station. I often walk by it, but I didn't notice it before because it's a long and narrow shop. It has a counter and tatami seating, and I think it's relatively clean. The appetizer and simmered beef tendon side dishes were delicious, and the chicken liver yakitori was especially tasty. I recommend the sauce. Lately, I feel like the level of yakitori restaurants in Fukuoka is high everywhere. And they're cheap too. I hope they can differentiate themselves and become even better restaurants! I will definitely go back. Thank you for the meal! ♫

We went as a company on Friday. It was my first time going, and I was surprised to see cabbage under the grilled chicken, as it wasn't something I had seen in the Kanto region before! The delicious sauce on it made me keep eating. All the grilled chicken was delicious, but the liver had a unique, melt-in-your-mouth texture that was exceptional! The milk tofu appetizer (photo already posted) had a rich flavor and was so delicious that I could eat it endlessly! I had been drinking yuzu plum wine incessantly, but with delicious grilled chicken and tasty alcohol, I had a fantastic Friday! I'd love to go again★

Once again, it's time for another business trip? It's Kuba~gu from inside the bag. After finishing a 15-hour workday, it's bath time at the hotel. Feeling a light natural high but also a headache... Tonight's dinner can be anything. Feeling exhausted, I head out to the city at night with a "I don't care about anything" attitude. I spot a red lantern 75 meters away from the hotel. So, that's where I'll go tonight. As I get closer, I see not just one but four shops lined up. I quickly decide on a yakitori restaurant where I can eat quickly and head back. As I enter the restaurant with my colleague, we are guided to a tatami room in the back. Without looking at the menu, I order a draft beer. While sipping on the beer, I look at the menu and notice that the yakitori is a bit pricey. (My usual lifestyle is showing, haha) My colleague and I wonder if the skewers are big, and before we know it, the yakitori arrives. As expected, they are quite large. Eating about 5 skewers, my stomach feels satisfied. The salt-based yakitori was delicious, but the sauce-based ones could use a bit more flavor. The young owner bid us farewell with a smile, as it seems the restaurant is newly opened. Looking forward to what this place has to offer in the future.

Recently opened restaurant, Akadori Satsuma! The chicken meat is juicy and delicious. The entrance is small, but the quality of the chicken is top-notch. They offer a variety of chicken skewers and the pork belly, a must-have in Hakata, is thick and juicy. They also have different variations of pork belly rolls. They have a great selection of side dishes that go well with drinks like shochu and sake. The owners, a young couple, are energetic and friendly, attracting a lot of young customers. While the counter area may feel a bit lonely, the deliciousness of the grilled chicken makes up for it. They also have comfortable tatami seating in the back.

Delicious yakitori restaurant, but lacks impact and gives a slightly expensive impression.
