I waited in line while using a rental umbrella. It seems like it's better to buy a meal ticket before lining up. They ask if you have bought a meal ticket before entering. Inside, there were plenty of seats available. Maybe they purposely make people wait in line to create a bustling atmosphere, as mentioned on Google? I ordered the simmered chicken and char siu ramen with an egg topping. The soup, noodles, and char siu were delicious! Perhaps my expectations were too high, but I wasn't overly impressed. When I left the restaurant, there was no line at all. It was still a hot day, so maybe no one wanted to wait in line in September!

I got off at Fukushima Station on the loop line and decided to try a new ramen place. Ramen JET in Tamatsukuri is my favorite, but this is my first time at Fukushima. It's before 12:00 so there shouldn't be much of a line. There were only 4 people waiting outside, so no problem. I ordered the chicken simmered ramen with extra noodles for 1050 yen from the ticket machine outside. Customers were coming in and out quickly. I soon entered the restaurant. The counter has two rows and there are tables in the middle for about 20 people. I didn't have to wait long before my bowl arrived. The soup was thick and gooey. I mixed it well and the rich soup coated the medium-thin noodles nicely. It was quite satisfying. I left a little bit of soup in the bowl. This time I had tsukemen. The noodles were thinner than usual for tsukemen and lacked chewiness. I do not recommend the tsukemen! Definitely try their regular ramen instead. The ramen is undeniably delicious and satisfying. When the noodles are thin and lack chewiness in tsukemen... just go for the ramen.

I felt like having soy sauce-based tsukemen, so I decided to visit "Ramen Jinsei JET," where I usually only have chicken stew ramen. I arrived 20 minutes before opening on a weekday and found two people already waiting in front of the ticket machine. After purchasing my ticket, I moved to my designated seat behind the two customers. We entered right at 11:00 when the shop opened. This time, I ordered the large portion of soy sauce tsukemen. While I do enjoy rich tsukemen, I have a special love for soy sauce-based ones. About 15 years ago, I used to frequent a now-closed shop called "Men Yarou" near Itami Airport for their soy sauce tsukemen. The tsukemen arrived in about 7 minutes, and it looked delicious. I dug in and found the noodles and soup to be incredibly tasty. I couldn't stop eating. I even asked for soup refills and finished everything in no time. I could have handled the extra-large portion as well. The chicken stew ramen here is already delicious, but the soy sauce tsukemen is on a whole other level. This place is truly amazing.
