To Osaka! Head to Kita-Shinchi in Osaka City for a place where you can easily enjoy champagne and dumplings. This is a shop where you can have champagne in a glass. The pairing of champagne and dumplings here is excellent! A must-visit place in Osaka!

The combination of champagne and dumplings is surprisingly good. The dumplings with rich Quattro Formaggi sauce and Sriracha sauce served as snacks were also delicious. There are also soft drinks available. The seating is only at the counter, with more than 10 seats available.

A popular restaurant in Kitashinchi known for its affordable drinks and food. They now have branches in Tokyo as well. Enjoy some gyoza and champagne before moving on to dinner. It's a great choice before payday. They also have a happy hour for even more savings.

Dumplings come in three varieties: with garlic, without garlic, and with vegetables. It seems that the filling also differs between those with and without garlic. They are served with various dipping sauces based on truffle oil and salt. If you also order pate and grilled vegetables, you'll quickly become full. Next time, I want to try some unique dumpling flavors. Let's aim for completing the dumpling stamp rally!

Personally, this was my second stop after lifting the ban on nights in Kitashinchi. I wanted to eat gyoza again after having some at the first place. However, to my surprise, the second place was temporarily closed! Oh well, I guess luck wasn't on my side that day. But I still had my gyoza card, so I decided to visit this nostalgic restaurant instead.
I arrived during idol time, being the first guest at that time. But soon after, more guests started to arrive. Maybe I'm the god of prosperity after all ('ω')ノ
- Charles de Cazanove Brut: 900 yen
- Bellini: 900 yen
Cheers for the second time that day~♪ (I wanted to say "Cheers to your eyes" but I refrained)
I wasn't really hungry, I just wanted gyoza.
- New menu alert!! Saw a sign for "Traveling Gyoza."
- Rich Quattro Formaggi Gyoza (Italy)
- Mushroom Cream Gyoza (France)
I chose the Quattro Formaggi without hesitation. It was truly unique. The sauce was from Italy, and the cheese melted on top was a sight to behold. The gyoza came in a set of 6, surrounded by a sea of cheese. It was spectacular. First, I tried it as it was, and oh~ the combination of meat juice and cheese was like a treasure box. Then, I added a bit of truffle oil and chili oil. Delicious~ ('ω')ノ I could really feel the Mediterranean breeze (or so I thought).
I paid quickly with PayPay. Thank you for the meal.

As I was walking along Shinchi Hon-dori, I came across a restaurant offering a one-coin lunch set. It was a standing bar-style eatery called Stand Shan Shoku. Due to the impact of COVID-19, many establishments have limited their evening business hours, prompting some to offer lunchtime service, which they don't usually do. Stand Shan Shoku also operates irregularly for lunch. I decided to seize this opportunity as I might not be able to eat here for a while. The allure of a one-coin Hayashi Rice and a 1000-yen steak was hard to resist. After some hesitation, I opted for the one-coin Hayashi Rice, as the idea of having a one-coin lunch in Shinchi was too tempting to pass up. I disinfected my hands at the entrance and entered the small counter-only shop. I ordered the Hayashi Rice with a free extra serving of rice. When asked about toppings, I was considering adding a soft-boiled egg, but they were out of stock, so I decided to go without any toppings. The dish arrived promptly. I first tasted the Hayashi sauce, which had a strong tomato acidity, similar to the tomato curry at Matsuya. The rice was soft and sticky, which made me think that a firmer rice might have been better suited for curry or Hayashi Rice. Nonetheless, I continued enjoying my meal, although I couldn't help but wonder if I should have opted for the 1000-yen steak instead. ★I have a blog "Living to Eat" at https://pochi12345.blog.fc2.com/blog-entry-12362.html

The dumplings and champagne go well together at this restaurant. In addition to dumplings, the food selection is great and the prices are reasonable. This restaurant is perfect for casual dining and can be used for 0-2nd round gatherings. It has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. This was my last visit to a restaurant in the champagne dining series!

I stopped by for about an hour before meeting up. I ordered the original dumplings and champagne at the counter seat. I ordered 6 pieces of dumplings, and there were about 5 different sauces available. The champagne was delicious, so I ended up drinking 3 glasses...

The white rice is not good, it's not to my liking. I prefer shiny and glossy rice. The meat sauce doesn't go well with white rice, even though they may be trying to make it work. I would have been happier with a simple soy sauce instead. There was no particular side dish, and the cabbage salad was oddly tough. The miso soup only had two floating pieces of wheat gluten, which was a nightmare. The only thing that saved the meal was the crispy cucumbers. It's been a while since I had them, and they were delicious. If only the white rice was better, it would have been great. I'm sure they are still experimenting and trying different things. I hope they find the right solution soon. Good luck.

This shop is perfect for a quick bite. On this day, I stopped by for some dumplings and champagne as my first stop. It's great that they have about four different kinds of champagne by the glass. However, the bottled champagne is also relatively affordable, so I ordered a bottle along with some dumplings. Next time, I want to try the ones with garlic!

The second representative gyoza specialty store in Kitashinchi is Stand Shantei-san! The interior is very chic and Instagrammable, perfect for girls. They only have a counter seating. We started with champagne and two servings of gyoza. The colorful gyoza sauces were brought first - vinegar soy sauce, miso sauce, tomato paste, olive paste. The recommended way by the staff is to sprinkle truffle-infused olive oil and rock salt on top. I personally enjoyed the olive oil & rock salt, and olive oil paste the most. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, with a variety of wines and beers available. Even for those who are not good with alcohol, there are easy-to-drink cocktails like champagne mixed with juice. The gyoza itself is frozen, but the delicious sauce makes it a popular spot worth revisiting. Each gyoza is light, making it easy for women to enjoy. They also have garlic-free options. The staff, particularly the friendly ladies, provided explanations about the sauces and champagne, recommended items, and created a warm atmosphere throughout. They have opened a second store, and I look forward to visiting there as well.

This is a small restaurant with an open kitchen style where you can only sit at the counter. The charm of an open kitchen is supposed to be the process of watching the food being prepared, but here it might disappoint some customers. Firstly, some of the main dishes and dumplings are frozen. It seems like they have a central kitchen somewhere. They take out a lot of frozen dumplings from bags and cook them. The duck confit is also taken out of a bag with the soup and heated up... a bit disappointing, right? The dumplings come in garlic flavor (standard), no garlic (no chives either, premium), and vegetable dumplings. They recommend eating them with truffle oil and rock salt, but there are also four other sauces available (see the photo for reference). The dumplings contain vegetables, meat, and lard (is there also beef fat?). Everything is ground up so finely that you can't even see traces of vegetables. When you eat them, the meat juice and oil ooze out. Eating them with black truffle oil and rock salt was a first for me, but it was delicious. Among the four sauces, the tomato-based one was also to my liking. This restaurant is true to its name - they have a wide selection of champagne! I think the wine and champagne are reasonably priced even when ordered by the glass (although the same cannot be said for beer). They have champagne priced at almost 40,000 yen. In conclusion (personal opinion), I recommend this place as somewhere to enjoy champagne and dumplings without watching the open kitchen. It's better to have a light meal here and then go to another place for a more substantial meal. The menu includes more than just dumplings, but it's not a place for heavy eating. In terms of food value, considering that some items are frozen, it's not that great. It seems like a chain restaurant that can also be found in Tokyo, so it's recommended to keep that in mind before going. Thank you for the meal.

I visited the Champagne dining group in Kitashinchi and went to Stachan Gyoza Bar. They had a Happy Hour deal where you could get a discount of about 300 yen on a glass of champagne, making it a great deal! They poured the champagne into a wine glass over the counter, which was a nice touch. The champagne I had as my second glass was already a good deal at 800 yen, but during Happy Hour it was only 500 yen! Amazing! They also served freshly sliced prosciutto with a slicer, which was delicious. It's a casual and convenient place to visit. I didn't have any gyoza, but I love champagne! Thank you for the meal.

The late-night establishment caught my eye as I wandered around. I had been curious about it for a while, so I decided to go in since it was early. The Champagne selection was indeed extensive, and each one had a nice, strong fizz that was delicious! The gyoza was also good!

Gyoza Tour in Kitashinchi Part 1: Tried the truffle gyoza ranked high on Tabelog ✨ Shan Shoku Gyoza with garlic and black truffle topping ✨ There were 4 types of sauces available, but we chose truffle oil and rock salt to go with it. The gyoza itself was ordinary, but the truffle oil and rock salt made it a perfect match ✨ It was delicious ✨ Also ordered grilled vegetables and gyoza burger as extras. Maybe we ordered too much from the first place? Thank you for the meal ✨ Looking forward to the next stop 🚶♂️

I came here because I heard they serve dumplings and champagne! I ordered three types of dumplings: garlic, no garlic, and vegetable. They had four dipping sauces: ponzu, miso, truffle oil, and rock salt. The waitress recommended truffle oil and rock salt, which went really well with champagne! There were other items on the menu, but my partner insisted on having dumplings, so we're off to the next dumpling place. Thank you for the meal!

The restaurant is named after its concept of pairing dumplings and champagne. It seems to be a chain with locations other than Kitashinchi. They make dumplings that go well with champagne. The dumplings come in garlic, non-garlic, and vegetable-only options. Other menu items include prosciutto, salad, and sausages. It's better suited for a second stop rather than a hearty first meal. They serve four different sauces with the dumplings: vinegar soy sauce, ponzu, sesame miso, green pepper, and fondue sauce. The dumpling skin is slightly chewy and the garlic flavor is subtle, making for a light dumpling. While it's nice to have a variety of sauces, dumplings still pair best with beer or highball. However, eating them with truffle oil and salt was delicious and suited the light dumplings well. This might still go well with champagne. If you're looking for light dumplings for a second stop, definitely give this place a try.
