I was very happy that dogs are allowed inside the store, especially during this hot weather. There were many people with dogs, and we brought our pet in a cart. The staff were very kind and opened the door for us. We wanted to try the donuts this time, but they were sold out before 4 pm. Instead, we ordered an Acai bowl and a fruit tea. The taste was delicious, and the drinks were filled with plenty of fruits, making them very satisfying. I definitely want to visit this place again next time.

Located in Horie, this cafe is one of the fiercely competitive areas. I had a takeout of Taiwanese donuts at this shop! - Strawberry Donuts 1,280 yen The donuts are simply "fried donuts" with a little strawberry cream on top and strawberries on them. It might be tough to eat all nine by myself. They were cute and delicious! Thank you for the meal♡

A cafe in Osaka where you can enjoy Taiwanese sweets! They have a variety of attractive sweets and food menus! The donuts are served in a container that looks like a strawberry milk hamburger, with 9 donuts inside, each topped with a strawberry - so delightful! The donuts have a crispy and fluffy texture, and are light and delicious. I fell in love with the cute bottle of strawberry milk, which was not only cute but also tasty. I want to visit again to try other menu items that caught my eye!

I went to a Taiwanese cafe to try their cute donuts. I had the Strawberry Donut for 1280 yen and the Strawberry Milk for 850 yen. The donut was soft and had strawberries on top, making it cute and delicious. It was served in a hamburger-like container. The bottled Strawberry Milk drink also had strawberry chunks in it and was tasty! The prices were a bit high, but I thought it was worth it. The cafe is dog-friendly.

A popular pancake shop from Taiwan has landed in Japan for the first time! It opened in September 2019 in Yotsuhashi, Osaka. I was curious about it for a while, and finally got a chance to go! The shop is called Meihao Nienda, and while many people go for the pancakes, I went for their popular bite-sized donuts. I had been turned away a couple of times before, so I was excited to finally try them. They offer two flavors - black sugar cream cheese tapioca and original donuts. I chose the black sugar cream cheese tapioca. For takeout, they put the tapioca and cheese cream in separate containers. The tapioca was fun to eat, even though it was a bit of a challenge with the rolling tapioca balls. The donuts were slightly larger than bite-sized and were chewy and delicious. Without the cream, the original donuts were enjoyable too, with a crunchy sugar coating. Adding the cream turned them into a sweet treat! When strawberries are in season, they make a beautiful and festive topping. Oh, I really want to visit Taiwan now. I'd love to try these in the original location. Thank you for the delicious treat, Meihao Nienda!

Hello, this is Yamada Tachiuo. This time, I saw someone else's Instagram post and thought, "I've never tried Instagrammable gourmet food like that," so I visited this restaurant. The place is called "Biko Jidai," and I had my eye on the strawberry donut priced at 1250 yen. Doesn't it make you want to eat it just by looking at the photo? When I entered the store, there was a girl working alone (on a weekday). The strawberry donut is made after you place your order. I was able to enjoy it after waiting for about 10 minutes. When I got home, it was time for the grand opening! It seems like everyone is aiming for Instagrammable food like this. The taste was within my expectations, but I learned that food can also be enjoyable visually. It was a gourmet experience that I found interesting. I want to continue exploring sweets even as a man. See you again! ✋

The round Taiwanese donut is crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, making it delicious even when eaten plain. But when topped with strawberry cream, the taste and cuteness are multiplied by hundreds! I chose a strawberry milk drink and enjoyed plenty of strawberries.

I found this place on Instagram and now they seem to be renovating, so I want to go back again. The menu looks delicious, but when I tried it, it was just average. It's a common experience where the expectations are too high and the restaurant doesn't exceed them.

The first shop in Japan of the Taiwanese origin store known for tapioca milk tea and pancakes. They offer Oreo pancakes, strawberry daifuku souffle cake, and Ceylon milk tea. It's said to be an Instagrammable place, but does it really stand out? #BeautifulEra #OsakaGourmet #OsakaCafe #HorieCafe #Pancakes #CeylonMilkTea #SouffleCake #TaiwaneseCafe #TaiwaneseGourmet #ShinsaibashiGourmet #ShinsaibashiCafe

Good evening. This is lily_c. I went to try tapioca milk pancakes. I had been curious about it for a while, and finally got to try it. It's located in a quiet area in Kitahorie. There were no guests on a weekday evening. I ordered pancakes and milk tea. The cream on the pancakes was soft and not too sweet, just right. However, the pancake batter was average. But overall, it was a satisfying dinner.

It's a small shop that gets crowded quickly, so it's standing room only before 4 p.m. The Souffle Set costs 1200 yen and includes hot black sugar tapioca tea. The souffle cheese cream pancake comes with extra tapioca pearls and the cheese cream is rich and satisfying.

It was a pre-order system! I enjoyed the sounds and smells of them making the food while waiting for my order, making me feel happy even before eating. The tapioca was warm and chewy, and the souffle pancakes were fluffy and delicious. Surprisingly, I got quite full. The cheese cream was slightly rich and sweet, making me want some water. I definitely want to go again. ♡

Enchanted Pancake 1519 This blog, which has been turning its back on the recent tapioca boom, couldn't resist the allure of something different... Following the recent tapioca pork bun, now we have the opening on September 20th of "Bihou Nendai" (Yotsubashi, Osaka). The one that caught my attention is the Black Sugar Tapioca Cheese Souffle Pancake for 800 yen (excluding tax). It is finished off with black tapioca sprinkled on top. When you've been to around 1500 of these places, you can pretty much imagine the texture just by looking at it... It lacks that wow factor, not that it's bad, but... Just like the bitter chocolate black pancake from the other day, it's been a while since I've tried it so I don't know what it's like until I do. In that sense, it's exciting to try these pancakes, isn't it? And the price is reasonable for this type of pancake, which is nice.

Located in Osaka, "Bikou Nendai" is a cute little shop with a cozy eat-in space. Their pancakes are surrounded by film and when you cut into them, a creamy cheese filling oozes out. Topped with black sugar tapioca, it's a perfect combination of salty cheese, sweet pancakes, and flavorful tapioca. The pancakes are small and easy to eat, perfect for enjoying on your own. The tapioca is soft and chewy with a strong black sugar flavor, which I loved. I also tried their black sugar milk tea with tapioca, and it was delicious with a strong tea flavor. I was extremely satisfied with my experience here. I will definitely be back when I visit Osaka again! The set with Black Sugar Milk Tea Cheese Souffle Pancake & Drink starts from 1200 yen.

Enjoying tapioca in the good old days at Meihao Niendai, a popular Taiwanese shop that opened in September 2019 in Kitahorie, Osaka. I heard that you can also enjoy chewy tapioca and fluffy pancakes, so I went to check it out. First, I tried the Tapioca Milk Tea Pancake. If you order a set, you can get a great deal on drinks like Black Sugar Tapioca Cream Cheese Milk (right) and Tapioca Ceylon Milk Tea (left). The Black Sugar Tapioca Cream Cheese Milk seems to capture the essence of the good old days. If you prefer something light, you may enjoy the Ceylon or fruit tea. The drinks are topped with brown sugar and bruleed for a finishing touch. And then, the highlight of the visit - the Black Sugar Tapioca Cheese Souffle Pancake. It takes 20-30 minutes to bake this souffle pancake with plenty of cheese cream. It is also bruleed. When you slowly lift the cylindrical film on top, the cheese cream flows like a waterfall. Topped with tapioca right away! The chewy tapioca, fluffy pancake, savory cheese cream, and the sweet-salty flavor and texture make this dessert irresistible. ❤

I came with my friend to the beautiful era we wanted to visit♫ After each ordering our favorite tapioca drinks and meals, we shared a cheese souffle pancake. The Ceylon milk tea with tapioca I ordered was just right, just the way I like it ❤︎ After a while, the pancake arrived. I removed the cover to reveal the cheese sauce flowing like a waterfall, and added the tapioca on the side to complete it! Enjoying the chewy tapioca and fluffy pancake mixed with the rich sauce made me happy ❤︎ It was a weekday but the restaurant was consistently busy with customers. I am satisfied! Thank you for the meal!

This restaurant, which opened in Horie, Osaka on 9/20 (a little north of Namba), is said to be the origin of the "Tapioca Milk Tea Pancake" from a popular cafe in Taiwan. The pre-opening images and videos on Instagram showed the cheese cream flowing out, which was quite appealing. Since I had never tried tapioca before, I decided to check it out. I walked from Shinsaibashi to get there. The interior of the restaurant was filled with only women. It was a bit intimidating, but I went in anyway. The place had a central table and an L-shaped counter, with about 10 people inside, making it a bit cramped. I ordered at the counter, secured a spot, and waited for my number to be called to pick up my order. It was a weekday, but the place was almost full, although there wasn't a long line. The staff seemed to be non-Japanese, but they were able to communicate in Japanese and provided good service. I opted for the pancake and drink set for 1200 yen, which seemed like a good deal. I was recommended the Tapioca Ceylon Milk Tea and a fruit tea by the staff, so I chose that. The drink didn't have tapioca in its name, but it had plenty inside. It was surprisingly not too sweet, with pieces of apple, orange, and lemon inside. The tapioca was chewy and delicious. The Black Sugar Tapioca Cheese Souffle Pancake had cheese cream on top, covered with film. Removing the film allowed the cream to flow around the pancake. Tapioca was included in the cream as well. The cream was a bit thick, but the taste was sweet yet not overwhelming. It was enjoyable, although the abundance of tapioca in both the drink and pancake made it a bit overwhelming. Overall, it was a tapioca-filled experience.

Open-style new store specializing in trendy pancakes and tapioca drinks. The place is bustling, especially with young women. Although the seating inside is decent, it is overflowing with people. Ordered the signature pancakes and tapioca drink, but the drink arrived first and there was quite a wait for the pancakes. Those who wanted to take photos together seemed exhausted from waiting. The freshly made pancakes were hot, fluffy, and jiggly, truly dancing. Topped with tapioca and whipped cream, once the cover was removed, everything flowed together. Is this what they mean by "Instagrammable"? It was fun to experience it early on. ♬

This is a tapioca specialty store, but they had fluffy souffle pancakes on the menu so I went there right away. It officially opened on September 20, 2019, but they had a pre-opening a few days before and posted a lot on Instagram. I arrived 20 minutes before the opening time of 11 am. I was the first in line (;^_^A) After that, a few more people arrived to wait. Maybe 6 or 7 people. I ordered and paid at the register and then took a seat. They printed a number on the receipt, and they would call it when the order was ready, so you had to go pick it up. The seating was all at the counter, about 10 seats. For the first two days of the opening, they had a special promotion where if you followed them on Instagram and showed the screen, you could get another drink of the same order for free, which was a nice surprise. I ordered: - Black sugar tapioca cheese souffle pancake (800 yen) - Black sugar tapioca cream cheese milk (650 yen) They called me for the drinks first. Wow, really two drinks. Quite a lot (;^_^A) I love cheese milk so that was no problem, but tapioca... I wondered if I could eat it. It was a little tasty, but it should come with the pancakes too, so I wondered if I could eat it... They told me to mix it first. The tapioca was still warm. When I mixed it to adjust the flavor, it was delicious. Cheese milk heaven. Since I had another drink, I drank the first one quickly. Ten minutes later, they called me for the pancakes. Before removing the cover, they added extra tapioca. I slowly peeled off the cover. The cheese cream flowed out all at once. Wow, it was impressive. The pancakes were really fluffy. You could feel the handmade quality. Black sugar was kneaded into the dough. When eaten with the cheese cream and tapioca, it was really delicious. The cheese cream was not too heavy, more on the liquid side, so you could drink it. It wasn't as big as I thought, so I could finish it quickly. If sharing, it might be a bit small. There was a lot of tapioca, so it was a bit tough at the end, but I could enjoy it. Thank you for the meal.
