I made a reservation for a meeting at 1:00 PM on Sunday. When I arrived and sat down at Ten'ou-den, I was impressed by the wonderful room and relaxed atmosphere. The appetizer dishes were amazing, especially the dressed chrysanthemum greens with a flavorful dashi broth. The clear soup with matsutake mushrooms was exquisite. The sashimi was all delicious, with the abalone being chewy and the fatty tuna melting in my mouth. The grilled dishes of spiny lobster and duck meat were tasty. The wagyu beef steak was tender, and even the red konjac was delicious. The vinegar-marinated conger eel was excellent. The rice with mixed grains and tea poured over it was also very tasty. For dessert, the chestnut mousse with a hint of fruit was rich in flavor. Ten'ou-den is a place where you can enjoy incredibly delicious food in a wonderful room at a leisurely pace (3-4 hours). It's always a different experience each time. Despite the slightly higher price of around 10,000 yen per person (understandable due to the quality), I will definitely come back. When should I make my next reservation?

The sashimi was delicious as always! I was happy to see both the yellowtail and chu-toro included. The octopus with ponzu jelly was tasty! The abalone was nice and crunchy. Usually they serve shrimp miso-yaki, but this time it was abalone with white sauce, which I actually preferred. The steak was consistently very marbled and tender! Personally, I would prefer something like sukiyaki or shabu-shabu instead of steak. Towards the end, I started feeling a bit full. Sorry for being so indulgent! The cheesecake for dessert was also delicious! The sweet potato with brandy, red bean paste, and cream cheese layers was just right in terms of sweetness. For this quality and portion size, 8000 yen seems reasonable, right? If this were at another ryokan, it would easily cost around 10,000 yen! You can really relax here^^ The seasonal dishes are always appealing! I never get tired of coming here every month♡ The staff training may be lacking, but overall it's a great experience.

The atmosphere is great and highly recommended for entertaining guests. There is a Japanese garden in the city, which foreign groups will especially enjoy. The Japanese cuisine and hospitality at this restaurant are satisfying. The food and drinks were delicious. You can feel the changing seasons through the flavors of seasonal dishes. It is a place where you can enjoy with all five senses.

The food this time (in May) was delicious^^ The sashimi at Tenno-den was still delicious!! It's always satisfying to have a good selection. The sea bream, tuna belly, abalone, and octopus were all fresh and delicious (*´ч`*) The quality of the first appetizer platter was also good!! There was no explanation, so I didn't know the names of the dishes, but the eel chimaki, rice cake, and vinegar miso were all good. The meat dishes are always super marbled!! This time it was a sweet steak^^ The sukiyaki from previous visits may have been more luxurious. The meat was super marbled and juicy. The dessert sesame pudding was quite generous too! The drink service is always super slow, and sometimes the timing of food service is off, but the spacious and nice room, with a good view, makes it tolerable!! On this day, we sang karaoke for about 2 hours and spent a total of about 5 hours enjoying a leisurely and fun time with the whole family ( ˶'ᵕ'˶)‪︎ We opened 3 bottles of sake, sparkling wine, and spent over 100,000 yen with 8 people (´・∀・`)

Additionally, the staff provided thoughtful touches like warming our shoes on a chilly evening. Overall, this restaurant excels in both visible and invisible aspects of service.

Sometimes I eat at nice places, haha. Usually I prefer to eat high school student-like meals such as ramen and curry, but every now and then I feel like enjoying delicate cuisine in a fancy atmosphere. This photo is from February this year. The food was good, but also the room and atmosphere were nice. It's no wonder it was used for the G20 Osaka Summit. I had to leave my shoes at the entrance, and when they handed me my warm shoes back on that still cold February day, I felt kind of guilty haha. It was a great dinner party.

I made a reservation for a meeting at 12 o'clock on Sunday and used it. I have used it several times, but it is a good restaurant no matter how many times I visit. All the appetizers are delicious - crunchy raw sea cucumber, smooth raw tofu, crispy deep-fried shishamo. The rape blossom side dish, salmon, and simmered yam are delicious! The sashimi includes sea bream, tuna, squid, and abalone, with a separate serving of yellowtail maybe? The sliced fugu sashimi with wasabi, soy sauce, and grated radish in ponzu sauce is excellent! The clear soup is okay, and the simmered dishes include abalone, duck, and grilled mackerel - delicious and luxurious! The sukiyaki beef is marbled and the white leeks are crunchy. The small dish of abalone and mentaiko rice ball in dashi tea pickles is a great finish. For dessert, there are strawberries, kiwis, and more... delicious and satisfying! And the warm floor heating from the entrance, and when you return your shoe tag, even your shoes are warmed... truly exceptional service. I will come back again for a little luxurious lunch meeting.

My grandfather's favorite restaurant that he has been using for banquets and special occasions for a long time! It has a luxurious atmosphere like a high-class ryokan, and you can enjoy a lavish meal there! It's exciting when the day comes to go to Tenno-den! This day, we also did karaoke for the first time in years. The dishes change completely depending on the season. The sashimi is fresh and delicious, and the dry ice presentation is luxurious. For the meat dish, we had steak this time, with high-quality marbled meat every time! The grapefruit water yokan dessert was delicious!! The atmosphere and service are great. The room is very spacious, and you can see lots of greenery from the window. It really feels like a high-class ryokan! Usually, the service is excellent, but this time there were only new high school student part-time workers, so it was quite awkward. The drinks also took over 15 minutes to arrive, and the service felt a bit lacking compared to izakayas. The portions at Tenno-den are quite generous, and the combination of portion size, luxury, and atmosphere is excellent! I think it's worth it for 6000 yen per person ^^

Emperor's Palace! We always use this restaurant for business meetings, and the staff in kimono are very attentive, creating a wonderful atmosphere. The food is delicious, and the whole place is a lovely space to enjoy the traditional Japanese culture. We would like to continue using this traditional restaurant in the future!

It had been a while since I went out with friends. We had a leisurely meal while looking out at the garden. The taste was delicious, of course, but what really stood out was the extravagant presentation and decoration. I found myself getting excited. I ended up drinking quite a bit during the appetizers. It was a meal that soothed all five senses. I would love to visit again. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

There was a banquet at a certain restaurant. In this current season, there are many concerns about the new coronavirus, but here, at the entrance, temperature checks and disinfection are conducted, and the staff are equipped with masks. The restaurant was where the G20 foreign ministers' dinner was held, and the table had an announcement quoted from Foreign Minister Kono's Twitter. Despite mentioning this, it was my 3rd or 4th visit this year. They were very flexible in accommodating changes in the number of guests, which was greatly appreciated. The dining in a spacious room started with a seasonal arrangement of hydrangea decorations on the plates. The sashimi was beautifully arranged on ice and yuzu, with thick slices of tuna, abalone, squid, and pufferfish. There were also dishes like manju, sesame tofu, grilled fish, and lobster. Although I didn't take pictures, the dishes were not only delicious but also visually appealing. The individual hot pot featured a steak on a ceramic plate, with high-quality meat that melted in the mouth. Overall, the food had a gentle flavor and was very satisfying. It was a restaurant with excellent hospitality.

I used it on Mother's Day. When I made a reservation, the private room was not available, so we were seated in a corner of the large hall. In the middle, there was a memorial service? with a portrait, so it was a bit strange for us celebrating. The dishes were beautiful, starting from the appetizers to the sashimi, grilled dishes, and more. The food came out very slowly, so I was already full by the time the sashimi came. The meat boiled in a small pot with a special sauce? onion sauce was delicious! My mother-in-law doesn't eat meat, so she was waiting for a replacement, but it took a while to come out. When it finally arrived, it was a fish hot pot, but by then everyone had finished eating. They charge a 10% service fee, so the slow service was a bit disappointing. The restaurant is surrounded by greenery with lion statues and koi swimming in the pond, giving it a quaint atmosphere. It's a good place for gatherings. Thank you for the meal ★

We had a banquet for a memorial service. I've been using this place since I was a child for my grandparents' memorial services, but in 2019, it seems that the G20 Foreign Ministers' Dinner was held here. There were photos of Kono-san taking a selfie along with the menu for that day. The appetizer was served on a red lacquer tray with a Christmas-patterned dish, accompanied by branches of nandina. Inside the tree was conger eel sushi, made with glutinous rice. Inside the snowman, there was some sort of fish paste. The hexagonal dish contained sea cucumber vinegar. The square plate had thick grilled egg (egg-flavored paste) with mustard, and, what was it again? The square dish contained simmered octopus and vegetables. The camellia-shaped dish had sesame tofu. I can't remember what was in the bowl. The sashimi was fugu and blanched fish skin. In the ice container were tuna, abalone, and squid. I forgot to take a picture, but the hot pot was beef cooked in broth. There was no explanation for the grilled dish, so I'm not sure what it was. The abalone shell contained red konjac and sea urchin sauce. On a small plate were duck breast, thick grilled egg, and daikon radish. Was it a bowl of rice? A sheet was placed on top of a half-cut golden kiwi, with rolled wheat gluten and vegetables on top. Ochazuke. The dessert was strawberry mousse and cut fruit. The appetizers at traditional Japanese restaurants are really enjoyable, aren't they? Interesting dishes are hidden under interesting lids, making it exciting. This time it was an 8000 yen course. Drinks, service charge, and altar fee for the memorial service are separate. By the way, the Foreign Ministers' Dinner was a 25000 yen course.

In December, I visited Ten'oudon for a Buddhist memorial service in my neighborhood. The restaurant still had photos from the G20 foreign ministers' dinner that was held there. We dined in a spacious private room with Christmas decorations, starting with a delicious appetizer and thickly sliced sea cucumber and other dishes. The sashimi was served in an ice bowl since it was winter. The meal ended with a large beef hot pot, which was very satisfying.

I made a reservation for Sunday lunch at G20 and Foreign Minister Kono invited foreign ministers from various countries. Everything was truly wonderful and delicious. The dishes were all high-quality and exquisite, including dishes like shirako (appetizer), abalone (sashimi), fatty tuna (sashimi), red snapper (sashimi), matsutake mushroom (soup), pufferfish (hot pot), spiny lobster (grilled dish), duck breast (roast), red snapper (roast), matsutake mushroom (sukiyaki), wagyu beef (sukiyaki), matsutake rice (rice dish), sweet potato mousse (dessert), and more. The service was excellent even though I did not leave a tip. The course cost around 6000 yen, excluding service charge and tax. A bottle of beer was around 600 yen (very cheap). With drinks included, it was about 8500 yen per person. I would love to come back again. Truly a top-notch dining experience at the G20 Foreign Ministers' meeting venue.

Family has been using this restaurant for celebrations for a long time. The private room is spacious and relaxing, perfect for special occasions. The entrance is also luxurious, ideal for celebrations! The course with unlimited drinks costs 10,000 yen, and the presentation of the dishes, starting from the appetizers, is adorable. The chestnut soup and dishes served in pumpkin-shaped containers really capture the essence of autumn. I love how Japanese cuisine allows us to enjoy the four seasons. The sashimi was luxurious with sea urchin, fatty tuna, abalone, and a thick portion of chawanmushi. The thick portion of chawanmushi in the middle was a delightful surprise! I really enjoy the thicker pieces! The sukiyaki with Yamagata beef was a treat after a long time! The single piece of meat was incredibly large, equivalent to about four regular slices! It was very tender and flavorful. If you're not a fan of fatty meat, this single piece might be too much for you. After eating my grandfather's portion, I was quite full! The seasoning was just right, not too light or too heavy, making everything delicious! The dessert, sweet potato pudding, was incredibly delicious! It had a unique texture, like a cross between pudding and mousse. Although the sweet potato flavor was not very strong, I loved it! I would love to take this home! I wish there was a menu to know what was being served! The explanation of the dishes varied depending on the server. Also, the drink options for the unlimited drink option were quite limited. The overall experience was great with a relaxed and luxurious atmosphere, excellent service, and delicious food that captures the essence of the season. Perfect for special occasions, business meetings, and gatherings!

In Osaka, Tennoji, a restaurant with a garden has been in business for 60 years, one of the few in Osaka city. We visited to celebrate Shichi-Go-San after seeing the restaurant's website. The beauty of the garden from the entrance of the restaurant captivated our eyes and made us forget the city life, providing an elegant space despite being in Osaka city with Tsutenkaku Tower nearby. As soon as we entered the restaurant, we took off our shoes and were guided to the second floor by an elevator through a corridor before being led to our room. The restaurant was so spacious that it felt like a ryokan. The room was also large, too large for 8 people! Perfect for our two children aged 5 and 3 to relax and enjoy themselves. We opted for the Seasonal Kaiseki Zekkei course for 6000 yen, excluding tax. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. There were about 3 bites of spiny lobster, surprising us with only one piece of actual lobster meat in the tail, with the rest being lotus root and konjac. The sashimi with dry ice presentation was elegant. The sukiyaki with thick, delicious meat was a delight. The children's meal for 2000 yen was also great, with tasty hamburgers and grilled fish, including pickles, making it a luxurious meal for young ones. The balcony was spacious, allowing for ventilation and COVID-19 precautions, with a view of Tsutenkaku Tower. It was a wonderful and delicious time in a spacious and lovely environment. A great choice for a special occasion meal at the Tennojinden restaurant.

This restaurant has a beautiful garden with a nostalgic atmosphere that doesn't feel like it's in Osaka. The spacious interior is well-maintained and I felt grateful to have come to this place when I was welcomed. The taste and presentation of the dishes were like works of art, everything was perfect. Thank you for the meal. I will work hard so I can treat myself to coming here next time.
