I chose the Pad Thai, which is a delicious Thai stir-fried noodle dish. The lunch set came with soup, salad, and Pad Thai with ingredients like fried egg, tofu, enoki mushrooms, dried shrimp, peeled shrimp, and crushed nuts. The soup had a gentle chicken broth flavor with chunky vegetables and mushrooms. The Pad Thai noodles were translucent and had a chewy texture, similar to the noodles I had in Kyoto before. The dish was not too spicy, making it easy to eat, and the abundance of ingredients added great flavors. The shrimp were fresh and peeled in-house, and the crushed nuts added a delightful crunch. The colorful exterior and the Moai statue make it easy to spot this place. The interior is also brightly colored with Asian decor, and you can enjoy authentic Thai cuisine prepared by Thai staff. They offer lunch sets that you can easily order, but this time I tried various dishes a la carte: Yum Woon Sen (vermicelli and shrimp salad), Tom Yum Kung Mu Ping (grilled pork skewers), Chicken Gapao Donburi, Kanom Tuai (coconut pudding), Mango Juice, and Thai Tea. I personally love Tom Yum Kung, and the one here is not too spicy, with a nice milky flavor. The Chicken Gapao Donburi features the original spicy chicken topping with scrambled egg, which is a popular choice even during lunchtime. The Mu Ping is grilled pork skewers with a sweet sauce and a side of spicy red sauce. The vermicelli and shrimp salad was surprisingly tangy and spicy, but addictive. I visited a lunch drinking party at an old man's gathering as soon as the restaurant opened at 11:30. First, we toasted with beer cheers. For appetizers, we ordered Khun Phak Phong curry and shrimp fresh spring rolls. Both dishes had authentic flavors and were delicious. We enjoyed another round of beer with Singha beer, and had a fun time experiencing the atmosphere of Thailand.

I don't eat Pad Thai very often, but this was the best one I've ever had. It was nice to be able to change the flavor. The salad dressing was delicious, maybe they used fish sauce? The staff were very polite. They have a menu for solo diners called "Thai Bocchi," so you can eat there alone at night like at a regular restaurant. This seems rare for an ethnic restaurant, right?

The appearance is extremely unique (especially the night lighting is dangerous haha), but once you enter, it's surprisingly a normal restaurant. You can order via QR code, and the menu allows customization of rice quantity and spiciness, which is quite modern. The taste is just okay, but overall it's not bad for a quick meal.

It was Saturday afternoon and the colorful restaurant had two groups of customers already. The spacious interior had several table seats, and we sat at a 4-person table. We ordered using a mobile order system by scanning a QR code. First, we decided to have Thai beer - let's go with Singha, a popular choice. We also ordered shrimp spring rolls and garlic stir-fried shrimp. The beer arrived wrapped in a cool holder - a nice touch. We made a toast and enjoyed the crisp and light taste of the beer. The spring rolls dipped in sweet chili sauce were delicious, with a chewy rice paper texture, plump shrimp, and crunchy greens creating a variety of textures. The garlic stir-fried shrimp was also great - the firm texture of the shrimp combined with the savory garlic flavor. We quickly finished the beer and ordered more - this time trying Leo, Chang, and Phuket. We also ordered stir-fried water spinach, Tom Yum Goong, Hainanese Chicken Rice, and Thai-style shrimp crackers. The water spinach was stir-fried with fish sauce, providing a crunchy texture and unique flavor. Tom Yum Goong had a perfect blend of coconut milk sweetness, sourness, and spiciness. My wife devoured it, but I found it a bit too spicy. Hainanese Chicken Rice was served with a special sauce, enhancing the ginger flavor and complementing the moist chicken and fluffy Thai rice. The Thai-style shrimp crackers were a perfect snack, thick with a satisfying crunch and a delicious shrimp flavor. You can truly taste the authentic flavors of Thailand here!

When you enter the store, you are greeted by the nostalgic smell of rice. You fill your own water, and place your order through your smartphone. I have been here a few times, and it seems like there are more delivery orders than customers inside the store, so it is quiet. The taste is basically the same as in Thailand, but you cannot customize the flavor other than the level of spiciness through the mobile app. You can choose the spiciness level from 1 to 4, but even at level 3, it is quite mild. I wish they would offer the classic options of watermelon juice or sweet milk coffee as beverages.

Papaya salad was amazing! It had the perfect level of spiciness, not too extreme but just right. It was delicious, although it did make my throat feel a bit hot later (lol). The portion was generous, and it was enough for two people to share. Also, the Thai-style zenzai with coconut milk flavored sticky rice, red beans, and vanilla ice cream was fantastic! It had a perfect balance of sweet and salty flavors, and I couldn't stop eating it.

There are various options for solo diners, making it easy to casually walk in. The staff are locals, so the taste should be authentic - delicious! You can choose the level of spiciness, so even if you're not a fan, you can order with confidence. I ordered garlic fried rice and guava juice, with Kanom Tuai for dessert. I visited a Thai restaurant called "Aloy Chinchin" that I had been curious about. The restaurant had a large sign with its name written on it, along with two Moai statues next to it. The restaurant turned out to be an authentic Thai cuisine place, officially recognized by the Thai government. I chose the Massaman curry for lunch, and opted for the normal level of spiciness. The curry had chunks of soft potatoes in it, which I found to be a bit too big for my liking. However, the curry sauce was rich and delicious. The staff seemed to struggle a bit with Japanese, so having a mobile order option was convenient. You should definitely give this restaurant a try based on its unique name alone!

On July 2nd (Saturday) and 3rd (Sunday), the Noda-Fukushima Genki Bar 2022 Gourmet Town event was held, where delicious and fun restaurants from Noda and Fukushima gathered. On the second day, the final day, we visited the 10th restaurant, Aroichinchin, which is officially certified by the Thai government for Thai cuisine. Although I have never been to Thailand, it is a country I would love to visit if I have the chance to travel abroad. I visited Aroichinchin to experience a little bit of Thai atmosphere. The special menu I tried included a Thai street food set, Moo Ping (grilled pork skewers) and Singha beer. The Moo Ping was delicious, with a sweet and spicy flavor followed by a hint of spices. Singha beer, a lager beer, had a good balance of bitterness and refreshing taste. It was a perfect match for ethnic cuisine. The combination was excellent! Thank you for the delicious meal. Next, I will be visiting Sichuan and Xiao Chi Kanon for some more culinary delights.

As for the Green Curry with 3 times spiciness... the thick and creamy coconut milk-based curry did not have much spice flavor or aroma for me. Perhaps the spiciness comes from the amount of red chili peppers sprinkled on top? It seems like there are various types of Green Curry depending on the restaurant! There is a restaurant that offers lunch sets for one person during lunchtime! The lunch sets come with soup and salad, making it a great deal. You can order using your smartphone or tablet, and the staff will politely explain everything to you. I had a hard time deciding, but I ended up ordering the Poo Phong Curry. It was served in about 10 minutes and was filled with large prawns, making it a luxurious dish. The portion size was surprisingly large for a regular dish. It tasted a bit different from what I expected, but it was delicious in its own way! And all of this for only 1100 yen, which is a great deal! The set soup was also delicious, and I would order it as a standalone dish. The restaurant was relatively empty, but there were a lot of Uber orders coming in while I was eating, keeping the kitchen busy. I would love to try other lunch options at this restaurant, so I plan on revisiting soon.

I went to a shop that I always notice during lunchtime. The interior was surprisingly spacious, and it had a Southeast Asian diner-like atmosphere! (I've never been to a Southeast Asian diner before...) I easily ordered using a non-contact mobile order! Although I was tempted by the various curries, I ordered the Khao Man Gai! It came with soup and salad, and it was a satisfyingly large plate! The Khao Man Gai had a simple taste! I'm satisfied! Next time, I want to try the curry!

This was my second visit! The deliciousness that makes you want to come all the way is amazing. Green curry, Pad Thai, Gapao rice... all delicious. Especially the green curry is the best I've ever had among all the green curries I've tried! The atmosphere inside the restaurant is Thai-like (I haven't been to Thailand...) and you can really feel it. The taste seems to be tailored for Japanese people, easy to eat without any strong flavors. Ordering is self-service, you can choose and order from the menu on your own smartphone. It's convenient! You can also customize the volume and cilantro to your liking. It seems they also focus on delivery, as there were many orders coming in while I was eating! The taste is outstanding, so please give it a try! The name of the restaurant apparently means "very delicious" in Thai!

Today's lunch was at Aroy Chinchin. I chose the extra large portion of pork Gapao rice. I've been watching @nishioyasuharu's live broadcast from Bangkok every morning recently, and when I saw his breakfast of Gapao Mu Krob this morning, I just couldn't resist the urge to eat Thai food. So, I decided to visit this restaurant near Asahi Broadcasting in Fukushima Ward. The restaurant is run by Thai staff, and I wanted to experience a bit of real Bangkok. Of course, I had to go with the Gapao rice. The richly seasoned minced pork paired with freshly cooked rice was delicious! Breaking the soft-boiled egg in the middle while eating made me feel like I was at a Bangkok street stall! This should help satisfy my addiction to traveling to Thailand. Thank you for the meal!

As a Thai food enthusiast, my expectations were raised. The dishes are served in large portions, so you quickly feel full. The stir-fried water spinach costs 750 yen and is a popular choice. Personally, I prefer it without thickening. The Poo Pha Pong curry costs 1680 yen and while it reminds me of the taste from Thailand, it doesn't quite match up to what I had there. The Khao Man Gai costs 900 yen and I love the taste of the street food version with chicken. However, the cost performance is a bit off. The fried spring rolls cost 480 yen and the fried catfish in sweet and sour sauce costs 680 yen. Overall, there is a slight feeling of disappointment, but it might be a good place to experience the Thai atmosphere in Japan.
