I found out there was a sesame dumpling specialty store and decided to visit because I love sesame. The small shop with only a counter was full with about four people. The menu included fried sesame dumplings, raw sesame dumplings, purple sweet potato dumplings, black sesame Mont Blanc daifuku for 370 yen, jet-black black sesame Mont Blanc soft serve for 650 yen, sweet potato chips soft serve for 650 yen, sweet potato and pumpkin Mont Blanc soft serve for 620 yen each, black sesame shake for 650 yen, hojicha and matcha latte (ice for 480 yen, hot for 500 yen), and more. I bought a cup of fried sesame dumplings with 3 pieces (5 pieces for 950 yen, which is 50 yen cheaper), 2 raw sesame dumplings, and hesitated between black sesame soft serve and black sesame Mont Blanc soft serve. In the end, I chose the black sesame soft serve, which came with a warm fried sesame dumpling on top. The soft serve had black sesame sauce on top (no sauce inside). The mochi in the fried and raw dumplings was soft, and the sesame paste was not too sweet with a subtle sesame flavor. I had high expectations as it was a sesame dumpling specialty store, but unfortunately, it didn't suit my taste. According to the staff, the filling in the black sesame Mont Blanc soft serve is richer than the filling in the dumplings, so that might be where I tasted the most sesame. Thank you for the meal.

It was my first time visiting a sesame dumpling specialty shop, and the freshly fried sesame dumpling (1 piece for 300 yen) was recommended. Inside, there were various types of sesame dumplings as well as tea, and I wished they focused more on just sesame dumplings. This time, I purchased a set of 3 sesame dumplings (600 yen) and a fresh sesame dumpling. The regular sesame dumplings were served hot and crispy. When I tried them, the outside was crunchy with sesame while the inside had a chewy mochi texture with delicious sweet bean paste. The fresh sesame dumpling was cold and had a similar taste to a chilled daifuku. I preferred the regular sesame dumplings. Thank you very much!

My main purpose this time was to get cakes from the Tezukayama Madame's favorite shop, "Poar Tezukayama Main Store," which has been in business for 52 years, located 500m west near the Hankai-Sakai Electric Railway Himematsu Station. On the way, I discovered a shop with congratulatory orchids lined up, which was the recently opened "Goma Dango Specialty Shop Gu~cha Tezukayama Store." It is the first "Goma Dango specialty shop" in Osaka, offering exquisite sesame dango made with "Goma An" inherited from a long-established Chinese restaurant in Shinsaibashi. Due to COVID-19 measures, only one group was allowed in the store at a time, and I was the second customer. I purchased the following items: ◆ 3 pieces of fresh sesame dango for 900 yen. The location is about 100m east of Poirer main store.
