I visited the original 343 Sushi main store located a 2-minute walk from Okunicho Station in Naniwa Ward, Osaka. The interior of the restaurant is not very spacious, with tatami and counter seats. I ordered the Chef's Special Assortment for 3000 yen, which included fatty tuna, scallops, sea urchin, salmon, squid, flounder, and sea bream. Among them, the shrimp was still moving as it was prepared live. The texture of the shrimp was amazing and it was the most delicious shrimp I have ever had. Additionally, I ordered yellowtail, squid legs, yellowtail, and crab miso separately. I also ordered potato fries, chawanmushi, and simmered sea bream. The simmered sea bream had a delicious sauce and was quite filling, so I highly recommend it. Although it is a chain restaurant run by a large company, the taste was quite good. This is a spacious restaurant near Daikokucho Station, with a wide L-shaped counter and four or more raised tatami seating areas. I was surprised by the sushi assortment with two layers of toppings. The tempura was also delicious. The boiled scallops were excellent as well. I would like to visit this restaurant again.

Today, I went to 343 Sushi in Oguni Town with two friends. It's conveniently located near Oguni Town Station. 343 Sushi is a sushi restaurant, but it's reasonably priced with straightforward billing. We started with a toast with beer. The menu offers a variety of options besides sushi. We ordered a lot of dishes! The sashimi comes in different grades like President, Chairman, which is interesting. This time, we ordered the President sashimi, which was fresh and delicious. Button shrimp, salmon, tuna, yellowtail, sea bream, scallop, octopus, and abalone butter grilled were all so tasty. The kizushi here is a must-try, it's incredibly delicious! The fried octopus was tender and flavorful. We'll definitely order it again next time. The grilled conger eel had a nice fatty flavor, very delicious. We also had horse sashimi, clam, shrimp tempura, eel, crab croquette, lotus root tempura, and tuna sashimi. We ate a lot of food, even though we didn't order much sushi, but that's just how we are. It was a feast, thank you for the meal!

This might be my first time having a meal in Daikoku Town. Since it's near the station, the restaurant is easy to find. It looks like a sushi restaurant, but they also offer sashimi for those of us who want to have beer. The menu is really extensive, and I recommend using it as an izakaya as well. The sashimi platter was delicious, and dishes like butter-grilled abalone and eel were also great. The alcohol goes down smoothly, and the chopsticks keep moving. After finishing work in Osaka, I had a craving for seafood for some reason. I decided to challenge myself by entering a restaurant without using Tabelog (restaurant review website). The restaurant I entered was here. I was seated at the counter and looked at the menu, which had handwritten and standard items, making me excited about the lineup. I wanted to try various types of sashimi, so I ordered the "President" (sashimi assortment). When I asked the chef if he had any recommended ingredients, he suggested yellowtail. Although yellowtail was not included in the President set, he offered to substitute one of the items for yellowtail. I couldn't decide because I liked everything, but I changed octopus to yellowtail. The luxurious assortment included shrimp, salmon, medium fatty tuna, scallop, yellowtail, horse mackerel, and sea bream. Everything was fresh and delicious. The yellowtail, especially recommended by the chef, was sweet and fatty, and it was amazing. I also wanted to try something with vinegared rice, so I ordered the tuna salad. It was undoubtedly delicious, with the combination of tuna mayo and cucumber being excellent. Honestly, it was the best tuna mayo I've ever had. I didn't eat much, just two items, so I left 343 Sushi feeling a bit regretful. I later found out on Tabelog that this restaurant serves nigiri with two pieces of topping. It's like a double patty at McDonald's. I didn't know they had such fantastic nigiri. I regret not checking Tabelog. But the tuna salad was delicious, so I'll let it slide.

I've always wanted to go to this restaurant. We went around 8pm without a reservation, a group of 3. We were able to relax in a sunken kotatsu table. We ordered a sushi platter! Just as mentioned in the reviews, the toppings are doubled. The first layer is sashimi, and underneath that is sushi. It was delicious~ especially the sea urchin was rich and tasty without any unpleasant smell. I will definitely go again!

I always end up ordering the sashimi platter when I come with friends. Kai's sashimi platter includes bird shellfish, scallops, red clams, surf clams, and sazae (turban shell) - it's irresistible for seafood lovers! The seafood salad looks a bit messy, though. I prefer sushi where the toppings are on top of the rice. Love it!

I have visited Sushi 343 in Tanimachi 4-chome a few times in the past. Their specialty is sushi with two layers of fish, where one layer is sashimi that you can eat in one bite. You can either eat them separately or together as sushi. The restaurant name is a play on words. This time, I visited late at night. As you enter, there is a wide counter in front of you, similar to a robatayaki restaurant. Towards the left, there are tatami tables. Since it's a local sushi restaurant, they have a variety of side dishes, like izakaya-style dishes. The customers are mostly locals, including people coming from work or young couples. The bill came out to be 250 yen for the otoshi (appetizer), and the items ordered were: - Taimei shochu: 480 yen - Toyo Bijin sake: 750 yen - Iichiko shochu: 480 yen - Soda mixer: 80 yen - Uzaku (flounder and saury): 980 yen - Chef's choice sushi: 2800 yen It's rare to see a soda mixer priced at 80 yen. I mixed it with Iichiko, so it ended up costing 560 yen!! I was surprised by the total bill after drinking 3 cups of sake. Ordering differently could have made it cheaper.

It is recommended to eat it in one bite for the best flavor. The location is convenient near Daikokucho station, making it one of my favorite spots to visit. The interior is designed to recreate the nostalgic atmosphere of the Showa era. There are counter seats and sunken kotatsu seats available. The place is always bustling with customers, mostly salarymen stopping by after work. They also offer a special deal where on the 3rd, 4th, 13th, 14th, 23rd, and 24th of each month, all nigiri sushi is 50% off. The quality of the fresh ingredients is excellent. I ordered the Chef's Special Assorted Sushi Plate for 2800 yen and the Nigiri Sushi Assortment (for managers) for 1480 yen, both of which were reasonably priced and satisfying.
