The atmosphere was great and the food was delicious. This is a perfect place for relaxing and enjoying drinks. The flavors are just right! The private rooms are very nice. When I visited, there were mostly office workers and older customers. The calm atmosphere makes me want to come back for similar occasions.

At Canal Terrace Horie, a Japanese restaurant, I was led to a private room with a view of the Dotonbori River, and the water sparkled in the sunlight, it was beautiful. The lunch prices are set to be over 1000 yen higher on weekends compared to weekdays. I ordered the first item on the menu, the Japanese set meal, although I originally wanted to try the Oyster Feast Set, but it was sold out. However, the Avocado Ikura rice bowl, the sea bream and scallop hot pot, the sizzling plate steak, and the sea bream rice cooked in a pot were all delicious. I also had a beer and felt amazing.

Along the river in Horie, Inca Awakens offers a variety of dishes including a trio of freshly made potato salad, thick-cut oyster with salted butter, crab cream croquette, crab miso white sauce, black wagyu beef seared with grated ponzu sauce, and seared mentaiko stingray fin. The standout dish is the thick-cut oyster with salted butter. Customers often come back for the delicious black wagyu beef seared with grated ponzu sauce.

I was able to enjoy sightseeing in Osaka. I made a same-day reservation right at 11:30, and although the private rooms were fully booked, they had space available in the large hall. They seem to accept web reservations 24 hours a day, so I recommend making a reservation in advance. The food comes out slowly starting from the appetizers, allowing you to enjoy the space and view while chatting. The oysters were particularly delicious. Weekday lunches are cheaper, so I recommend them.

I passed by the store and it looked lovely, so I made a reservation over the phone before visiting. I sat at the counter seat along the river, and the atmosphere was great. They had a wide variety of fish dishes, and the Edo-style pressed sardine sushi was the most delicious. The butter sautéed king oyster mushrooms were also very tasty.

I arrived at the restaurant a bit late, but luckily I was able to get a table without a reservation (I entered around 1:30 pm). I visited the restaurant at the end of February, so the menu I had may no longer be available. I ordered the "Winter Oyster Feast" lunch as a treat, and I remember ordering a non-alcoholic drink made with amaou strawberries. -----Taste Impressions----- [Appetizers] All were delicious, but I found it rare to have such a rich broth in appetizers. It was rich and warming. [Local Oyster Sashimi] Delicious oysters that go down smoothly. I wanted more. [Hiroshima Prefecture Oyster Fry] Oysters served in their shells, which was quite stylish. The hot and crispy texture was delicious. It paired well with the tartar sauce. [Oyster and Wagyu Sukiyaki] A personal-sized sukiyaki pot with large oysters. The broth itself was delicious. The meat was incredibly tender and melted in the mouth. [Hyogo Akou Oyster Kamameshi] The rice had a crispy bottom and was infused with umami flavor. Perfect for finishing the meal. The portion was just right. [Mont Blanc] As it was close to the last order time, I ordered a Mont Blanc for dessert. It was surprisingly delicious, better than at random dessert shops. Who knew they could do non-Japanese cuisine so well...! During my previous visit, I saw someone using the restaurant for a first date lunch, and this time there was someone celebrating a birthday. It seems like a great place for such occasions. The outside view was also beautiful, although I have never dined there at night. I would love to visit for dinner someday. Thank you as always. I have been to this restaurant a few times before, but I always ended up sitting on the opposite side of the river from the private rooms, which is a calm but not great location (laughs). This time, my friend made a reservation for us, but it turns out they forgot to order the course and private room. Luckily, they checked the availability and we were able to order a course for around 4000 yen. The food was delicious and we got to try a variety of dishes. The burnt rice from the sea bream dish was especially good. The seats by the river were like semi-private seats for couples, so we could hear the conversations of the people sitting in front and behind us (laughs). The view of the outside illumination and the sightseeing boats on the river was beautiful! The seat width was not narrow!

I just finished the university exam that had been weighing on me, and starting tomorrow is spring break. I have to celebrate! (Cheers) Unlike lunch, dinner featured creative dishes. I enjoyed small portions of delicious food that satisfied both my heart and body. Most of the rooms were private, and the walls were not too thin, so the atmosphere was different from a typical izakaya, more like a calm ryokan. Even with the cheapest course, I had a great time. I think it's suitable for dates, celebrations with friends, or business dinners. I made a reservation online through Hot Pepper and followed the beautiful route from the stairs to the connected restaurant. I recommend it over the elevator. I will definitely go back. I have visited the neighboring "青" a few times, but this is my first time here. I haven't been to Namba much lately. Today, I was taken here by a senior colleague, but I wonder if this place is suitable for a date (laughs). The food was delicious, but the location was amazing.

This year, I turned 55, the same number as Yakult's Murakami's jersey number and home runs. My children organized a celebratory meal for me. We dined at a private room on the second floor of Canal Terrace West building along the Dotonbori River. The room had a sofa and a great view of the river. We enjoyed a sushi-centered course meal. Located near Namba Hatch with a nice riverside atmosphere, this restaurant is suitable for farewell parties and year-end gatherings. The interior is cozy, with private rooms perfect for groups of friends or young couples. The food may not satisfy those in their mid-30s with refined palates, but depending on how you use it, the price and location make it worthwhile. Recommended dish: Shabu-shabu with black wagyu beef and raw egg dipping sauce.

It must have been over 15 years now. It's a shop that never goes out of style. This is because they always put effort into the interior design, staff service, taste, menu, drinks, and dishes. They are always coming up with new ideas, incorporating seasonal dishes and constantly changing the menu. It's a place that never gets boring. The atmosphere is great, with a counter overlooking a river and private rooms with a nice ambiance. Even the seats not facing the river don't detract from the atmosphere. The way they serve sake is also great, served in bamboo cups. They have a wide variety of dishes and drinks. The cost performance is good. The staff is mostly young but they are all charming and the whole place is well put together at a high level.

You can enjoy a meal while watching the sunset over Dotonbori from a private room. The ingredients were cute and fun to eat. However, it was a bit noisy in the private room due to other customers having a party, making it hard to hear conversations. The staff, atmosphere, and food taste were all very delicious.

Reasonably priced with a nice atmosphere by the riverside. Everything on the menu is delicious, so definitely try it out for a date. It's also child-friendly, so we visit frequently with our kids. Sometimes the dishes can take a while to come out, so make sure to check with the staff.

I went to the Japanese restaurant called Touka in Namba on a Saturday night without a reservation, but was able to get in easily. The interior is quite spacious with individual private rooms, allowing for a relaxed dining experience. I can't recommend Horie Touka enough - I love this place so much!

There was a celebration so we went to this place. It's close to my home and I used to pass by it often, but it always seemed far away. When we asked to celebrate, they guided us to the private room at the back! Since it was a celebration, we chose the most expensive meat course♥️ The amount of food in the course was quite generous, and we were stuffed... It seems like a great place for celebrations or dates♥️ I haven't been on a date in a long time though (;´д｀)

The location was excellent. The seating was like private rooms along the river, making it a good spot for a date at night. The service was also good! I wish the food had better value for money. The portions were a bit small and the drinks were a little pricey. Maybe it's because of the location... (laughs)
