Had lunch with colleagues near the company. It was my first time using this clean-looking restaurant that caught my eye as I passed by a few times. We arrived before 1 pm and there were enough seats available for us to relax. I ordered squid and shiso with tomato sauce and mentaiko on top. I was skeptical about the combination of tomato sauce and mentaiko, but the sweet tomato sauce was versatile and the mentaiko added a nice touch. The pasta was definitely delicious being freshly made, and the portion was light, perfect for women. It was nice to have bread included in the set. The menu was diverse and the interior of the restaurant was spacious and clean. I will definitely visit again.

I ordered the slow-cooked spare rib pasta with red wine and fresh tomatoes, which came with a salad for 1150 yen. I decided to upgrade to a special pasta for an additional 150 yen, opting out of bread and a soft drink. When the pasta arrived, I was surprised to see that the spare ribs were the main focus. Despite not having a knife on the table, the spare ribs were incredibly tender and flavorful, easily falling apart with just a fork. They were much tastier than regular tough spare ribs. As I continued eating, I realized that most of the dish was edible, with only one decorative bone and the rest being tender spare rib meat. The handmade pasta was like white rice in a way, and the soup was reminiscent of miso soup. I'm glad I chose the spare rib pasta over the regular options – it was a great choice!

It seems like A to E might be daily specials. Looking at Instagram, it seems like F and G don't change much. It's nice that there are many daily specials to choose from. The pasta was delicious with a chewy texture since it's fresh pasta. The shrimp was also fresh and plump.

It was a work gathering so I couldn't take photos. The all-you-can-drink menu included sparkling wine, which made my colleagues very happy. The amazing thing about this restaurant is the all-you-can-eat pasta. There are many different types available, and since it's fresh pasta, it's chewy and delicious! You can choose from large, medium, or small portions, so you can try a variety of types without any problem. I think this course offers the best value for the money.

With 2 staff members in the kitchen and 3 staff members for customer service (wearing white shirts and black aprons), they managed the busy store efficiently. This time, I ordered the "Lunch Set 1D 1000 yen". Here is the content and evaluation: Salad: Fresh green salad served promptly with a strong French dressing, topped with lettuce, baby greens, purple cabbage, and a half-boiled egg. The homemade smoked bacon Carbonara: Thick-cut homemade smoked bacon was impressive! The pasta was cooked al dente with medium-thin flat noodles, and the rich cream sauce with a clear flavor profile was delightful. They only serve lunch during normal business hours, and dinner is by reservation only. Looking at the table menu, all items seem to come in a set with pasta, bread, and salad included. Options A to E are all priced at 950 yen, while the two special dishes are 1100 yen. I ordered the smoked bacon carbonara. The pasta was very delicious, with fresh noodles and a generous amount of homemade bacon. Personally, I wish they had added a bit more pepper. It's a bit disappointing that there are only five options available for 950 yen and that everything is only served as a set. It would be nice if they could consider offering individual dishes as well, especially for those days when you may not feel well and can't eat everything.

I wanted to eat some chewy fresh pasta after a long time, so I headed to the homemade fresh pasta specialty shop, Kimotoya. You can choose from 7 types of pasta, which come with salad and bread for 950 yen and up. The shop is located between Kitahama Station and Sakaisuji Hommachi Station. The entrance is located behind a splendid gate, down a few steps. Although it is semi-basement, the space is bright and casual with natural light coming in. The interior has counter seats facing the windows, as well as several 4-person tables and a large communal table for about 50 seats. The large communal table is shared seating, but each seat is separated by acrylic panels. Lunch is available on weekdays from 11:00 to last order at 14:30, and on Saturdays from 11:00 to last order at 13:30 (please check the latest information on business format and hours from the shop). Lunch Menu (A-E) includes pasta of your choice, salad, and bread for 950 yen (tax included). Special Pasta is available for 1,100 yen (tax included). All pasta can be upsized for free. Drinks can be added for an extra 100 yen (coffee, black tea, oolong tea, grapefruit juice). I was intrigued by the "burnt cheese" and ordered the Bolognese with lots of minced meat. The salad was served immediately, followed by the pasta just 3 minutes later. The visual presentation was enticing. The pasta was slightly flat like linguine, with a chewy texture. The Bolognese sauce was rich and flavorful, complemented by the burnt cheese. The salad was simple with only lettuce and Italian dressing. The bread was a slice of baguette. The service was lacking in attentiveness despite the presence of several staff members. Overall, the pasta texture and speed of service were satisfying, but the sauce, ingredients, and service were forgettable. The price seemed a bit high for the quality. I might give it another try for a different sauce in the future.

When it comes to pasta, it has to be al dente, right? Cooking it just right is so tricky~ But well, some places completely deny that. At Kimotoya, the pasta is soft and chewy without a firm core! This is a technique that can only be achieved with fresh noodles and it's really delicious. The noodles are slightly thick flat noodles, and as I keep saying, they're really chewy. They're served with a Bolognese sauce. It comes with bread and salad for 950 yen. The bread is served warm. Extra portions are free. Actually, for adult men, extra portions are a must. The restaurant is spacious with seating for over 50 people. The interior is bright with a lot of wood used, and despite the hard chairs, it's comfortable. Even though the place is empty, they often assign seats like, "You sit at this counter!" but they're confident in their capacity, so they casually say, "Please sit wherever you like~♫". Ah, lovely. And the noodles were so chewy (^o^)
