Located in the Haruyoshi area of Chuo Ward, Fukuoka City. Situated on the 6th floor of a building at the corner of the Haruyoshi intersection on the Kokutai Road, heading from Tenjin towards Nakasu. Upon entering the restaurant, guests are required to take off their shoes before proceeding to the traditional Japanese-style sunken kotatsu seating area. This space can accommodate small group gatherings of up to 30 people, making it a convenient option in this area. The restaurant caters to a diverse range of customers, including those from corporate, family, couples, and tourist backgrounds. Today, we opted for the course menu, a 4000 yen course with a 1000 yen all-you-can-drink option. Starting with the appetizers, the "Seafood and Grated Yam Salad" was a delightful combination of salad, sashimi, and creamy grated yam. The eagerly awaited "Squid" was unfortunately unavailable due to bad weather, but it was replaced with "Kawahagi Sashimi," which turned out to be amazing. The creamy and rich "liver" of the Kawahagi, dipped in ponzu sauce and enjoyed with the sashimi, was a highlight. Following that, the "Sesame Mackerel Assorted Sashimi" showcased the bounties of the Genkai Sea, including Ara, Iki Shrimp, Sea Urchin, Mackerel, and Horse Mackerel, all of which were fantastic. The Iki Shrimp was particularly delicious with its fresh and sweet taste. The "Sesame Mackerel" was a local specialty with excellent fat content. The seasonal "Horse Mackerel" and delicate "Ara" were also exceptional. The grilled dish, "Scallop with Sea Urchin," exuded a fragrant aroma and was a perfect match for sake. The combination of rich sea urchin and succulent scallop was outstanding. The steamed dish, "Steamed Oysters," was cooked to perfection, showcasing the plump and moist oysters. The freshness and preparation of the seafood were truly impressive. Moving on to the meat dishes, the "Premium Horse Sashimi Assortment" featured high-quality horse sashimi with tender meat that melted in the mouth. The "Beef Sirloin Steak" allowed us to savor the richness of the sirloin cut. For the hot pot dish, we chose the "Aritagata Chicken Mizutaki," a clear and flavorful chicken broth with Aritagata chicken and vegetables. The tender meat of the Aritagata chicken and the abundance of vegetables made it a healthy and delicious choice. The "Tsukune" meatballs were a highlight and we wished there were more of them. Lastly, we enjoyed the Fukuoka specialty "Chanpon" as the finishing dish. The quality, quantity, and price point of this meal were exceptional. We look forward to visiting this restaurant again in the future. Thank you for the wonderful dining experience. Enjoy Gourmet Life!
