It's so popular that you can't get in without a reservation. The taste is really delicious and the soup is amazing. The hormone has a good sweetness and there are plenty of vegetables, so you'll finish it quickly. You can also buy souvenirs, which is great. I would definitely want to go again if I come back to Fukuoka.

I visited this restaurant for dinner during my trip to Kyushu. I made a reservation and arrived at the opening time of 5:00 PM. The place was busy and I was glad I had made a reservation. It was my first time trying motsunabe (offal hot pot) at a specialty restaurant. The menu consisted of set courses, and I chose the standard option which included motsunabe, small side dishes, tofu, and champon noodles. My friend and I, both women, left feeling satisfied. We chose vinegar motsu and mentaiko (spicy cod roe) as our side dishes, both were delicious. The motsunabe had a good balance of flavors and the tofu was also tasty. The meal was quite filling and we couldn't even finish the champon noodles at the end! Water was charged separately, but with a coupon and discounts from registering with Rakuten, it balanced out. It was great to be able to try authentic motsunabe.

The taste was good, but the customer service from the staff was not great. Even after being seated, no one came to take our order and we had to keep ringing the bell multiple times with no response. The food also took a long time to arrive. The motsunabe was really delicious, but the motsu itself was not tender at all.

I chose this restaurant for my first time trying motsunabe in Fukuoka because it was recommended in a magazine and conveniently located near my hotel. When I first entered, I was surprised by how small the one floor was, but I was relieved to see that there was an upper floor as well. The atmosphere was bustling with many customers, so I knew it was a popular spot. I ordered the motsunabe satisfaction set course. The chewy motsu was delicious, and I ended up eating too much and feeling very full.

The restaurant was understaffed, so we had trouble getting seated even though there were empty tables. It seemed like the men were not working because of the Yamakasa festival. I always thought motsu (offal) was just small intestines, but this restaurant had various kinds of offal in the hot pot, with fewer small intestines. It was still delicious though. The soup was very tasty. When we got home, we smelled like motsu hot pot all over.

This spring, I came to a motsunabe restaurant in Hakata with my son, who is starting a new job. It's been over a month now. There are many motsunabe restaurants to choose from, but we decided to go to Rakutenji, a popular spot. We didn't make a reservation, and I was surprised to see a line of tourists waiting. When I first came to Fukuoka during college, I tried motsunabe for the first time at Rakutenji in Tenjin, which no longer exists. Back then, it was only 600 yen per serving, but now it's 1200 yen. Time flies. We were seated on the second floor, where various languages were being spoken, making it feel like a foreign country. It seems like Fukuoka has regained its popularity among tourists. We enjoyed the motsu, which was tender and flavorful, and even added some champon noodles. My son and I left the restaurant feeling very satisfied. It was delicious - thank you for the meal!

I made a reservation and visited the restaurant! I could tell it was a popular place as there was a line outside for cancellations and open seats. The menu consists only of motsunabe (tripe hot pot), with no other dishes available. The variety of alcohol options is not extensive, but they have beer and highballs. I enjoyed a delicious motsunabe at a good cost performance. I felt that it was relatively light in terms of greasiness.

Menu is only motsunabe. And also champon as a finishing touch ☺️ Even though I'm not a fan of motsu, I was able to eat it! I want you to try it thinking you've been fooled, the soup is like magic. What's in that soup... It's addictive. It was so delicious. The compatibility with champon was also amazing! I've been fooled plenty of times with motsunabe before, but this was the first time I had motsu that didn't smell! It was really delicious. I want to eat it again and go back. The restaurant was almost fully booked (*´︶`*) Thank goodness we made a reservation, there was a line outside. If you're near Hakata Station, be sure to visit Rakutenchi. Thank you for the meal.

I had dinner here and received a "versatile umami spice" as a gift for registering on the app. It's a spice with a strong flavor of sansho pepper that seems to go well with various dishes. I was able to walk in without a reservation on Sunday at 6:00 PM. I ordered the Satisfaction Course for ¥2,772 (1.5 servings of motsunabe, a small side dish (choice of vinegar motsu, kimchi, or mentaiko), half a block of tofu, and chanpon noodles (all-you-can-eat)).

Chain restaurants may be popular, but I wouldn't recommend visiting this one while traveling. The food was delicious, just like any other good restaurant. However, it seemed like I could find similar flavors in other prefectures. If I have the chance, I would like to visit again.

When I arrived for my reservation, there was a line in front of the restaurant. Without a reservation, it's a lost cause. The satisfaction course includes all-you-can-eat champon at the end, which is great. However, the place was extremely crowded. Even when I pressed the order button or touched the screen for service, the staff didn't come, and the champon didn't arrive. It felt like they were understaffed. The champon with a slightly strong soy sauce flavor and lots of chili peppers and garlic in the soup, along with plenty of ingredients, was excellent.

Motsu nabe is great, so delicious! You can eat a lot of vegetables too! It feels like you're being healthy while drinking, so you can make excuses for yourself! There are quite a few foreign customers too. The staff are nice and it was a fun experience!

I tried the Motsunabe Satisfaction Course with all-you-can-drink for the first time in Rakutenchi! I had seen photos of this place in the city center before, but it was my first time actually going there and I was excited. For the course, you choose one of Kimchi, Mentaiko, or Vinegar Motsu as the first dish, and then the rest is just Motsunabe. The amount of leeks was impressive, just like I had seen in the photos! As the pot bubbled away, the ingredients slowly sank down, which is the magic of hot pot dishes. Even with such a tall pile of leeks, they still managed to shrink down nicely. The taste was classic, just like a typical Motsunabe. Plenty of leeks, tender and juicy motsu, and well-flavored soft tofu. It was simple, but perfect for people from Hakata. The portion was 1.5 servings, and with that amount of leeks, it was truly satisfying as the course name suggests. And finally, the finishing touch, Champon! The noodles were quite thick. Although Champon was all-you-can-eat, we were full with just one serving per person. I would recommend this Motsunabe restaurant to anyone visiting Hakata! Thank you to the staff for accommodating our sudden changes in time and number of people.

I stopped by during my trip to Hakata. It seemed like a popular new shop, so I chose to come here. The food was delicious, of course! However, the seating was in a tatami, sunken kotatsu style, so I had to take off my shoes, and I noticed that the cleanliness was lacking. I assumed they hadn't put much effort into cleaning since it was right at opening time.

When you go to Hakata, you'll want to eat motsunabe. It's a taste that's hard to find in Tokyo. You can enjoy delicious motsunabe at a good price. The ramen at the end is also delicious! The service is average. There are also spacious tables. It's a casual place to visit.

Rakutenchi has locations all over Fukuoka. This one is located near Hakata Station. The menu mainly consists of motsunabe (offal hot pot). Most customers order the set menu, which includes a pot filled with vegetables and a burner. The staff adjusts the heat as needed. The taste is similar to other Rakutenchi locations, with a rich flavor typical of motsunabe. The restaurant is a bit small but clean. Currently, due to COVID-19 prevention measures, the entrance is kept open, so it can be a bit cold inside.

It is located about a 5-minute walk from the West 18th exit of Hakata Station underground. They were able to prepare a single serving of motsunabe for me. I ordered the Motsunabe Satisfaction Course! It included 1.5 servings of motsunabe, vinegar motsu, tofu, and champon balls (all-you-can-eat). The cabbage and leeks were plentiful and hearty. The broth had chili peppers and garlic slices, giving it a spicy and delicious taste. Although the champon was all-you-can-eat, I could only eat one serving. I received a tote bag at the time of payment. It was really delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Rakutenchi is a chain of affordable and delicious restaurants in Fukuoka city, catering to the common people. This time, I visited the one near Hakata Station with a friend from out of town. The store is relatively new, so it was clean and well-maintained. Here is what we ordered:
- Motsunabe x5 (1,090 yen each)
- Tofu (260 yen)
- Chanpon Tamago (260 yen)
- Draft beer x2 (540 yen each)
- Glass of beer (430 yen)
- Highball x2 (450 yen each)
- Cold sake (650 yen)
- Plum wine x2 (430 yen each)
The portion of motsunabe was just right, and we ended up ordering 5 servings for 3 people. The motsu was chewy and the soup was delicious. The tofu was also tasty, so we ordered more. Motsu and leeks really are the best combination, and it goes great with alcohol. We finished our meal with chanpon noodles, which were soaked in the flavorful soup. We were full, but we ended up going to another place for drinks. Each motsunabe restaurant in Fukuoka has its own unique characteristics, but Rakutenchi offers reasonable prices, making it suitable for everyday dining. I highly recommend it to everyone.

I invited my company colleagues to entertain them at a famous restaurant for motsunabe. I made a reservation through the dining log website for the branch near the station. Although I have been to the branch in Tenjin before, this was my first time at this location. When we arrived slightly past the reservation time in the evening, the first floor was almost full of customers. We were seated at a table, but it felt cramped for the four of us big guys. We ordered the satisfying motsunabe course for 2190 yen and the all-you-can-drink option for 1900 yen (2 hours). The kimchi and vinegar motsu served as appetizers were quite small. The main dish, motsunabe, was impressive with its mountain-like presentation. The soy sauce-based broth with a strong garlic flavor was delicious as always. The all-you-can-eat champon noodles at the end were a nice touch, but our group of older individuals managed to finish our portions and call it a meal. The food was tasty, but the cramped table seating was a downside. I need to consider the TPO (time, place, occasion) better next time. Thank you for the meal!

Satisfied course @2190 + all-you-can-drink @1900
It's been a while since I had a business trip to Hakata. I usually look for cheap restaurants, but this time I tried motsunabe for its volume. The motsu itself is delicious, but the portion is a bit small. I drank a lot of alcohol, so I'm satisfied and feeling pretty drunk.
