Located in a small alley across from Chikushi Jogakuen in Chuo Ward, this restaurant has a natural feel with a white and wood-based interior. With only 3 tables, it's recommended to make a reservation if you're going with more than one person. The menu consists of two types of set meals, one focusing on vegetables and the other on meat, which change weekly. There are also desserts and drinks available for those looking to enjoy a cafe experience. The meat main set meal costs 1300 yen and comes with a variety of vegetable side dishes, including a chicken and vegetable stir-fry made with high-quality chicken. The rice is mixed grain, but may not be enough for those with a big appetite. The owners, possibly a couple, were friendly, though the female owner seemed a bit off. They also offer takeout for bento boxes and drinks. Overall, the sweets looked delicious as well.

I found this shop while strolling around. It reminded me of my favorite shop, so I couldn't resist going in. Even though it was close to closing time, the owners welcomed me warmly. It's a shop run by a couple, and even though my visit was short, their attention to detail really stood out. This time I had just eaten lunch, so I'll make sure to come back next time for a proper meal. *The menu photos are just a few examples.

The atmosphere of the restaurant and the two people running it were very welcoming. It was a cozy space where both body and mind could relax. Grateful for encountering a dining place that brings joy to both body and soul. It would be even better if they had brown rice.

I walk from the Sakurazaka Subway Station to the restaurant. It's a trendy area with a sophisticated atmosphere. As I enter the alley, I arrive at the restaurant. It has a simple white-walled exterior. During lunchtime, I greet the staff for the first time. There are a few counter seats and tables inside. The interior is as simple as the exterior. The main dish on the rice menu is labeled as "Japanese rice with vegetables." There are two main dishes that change weekly. Today's menu is written on a blackboard, and the staff kindly explained it to me. One is a vegetarian dish with pumpkin croquettes as the main dish. The other is a fish dish. Both come with the same side dishes. I'll have the croquettes, please. While waiting, I visited the restroom. There was a small flower arrangement inside. This attention to detail. I can feel the owner's thoughtful care in every corner of the restaurant space (although I didn't check every corner, I could sense it somehow). The rice set arrives = in addition to the main dish, there are four side dishes, salad, rice, and miso soup. It's a generous portion! Let's dig in. There are three side dishes in one small bowl. Among them, the thick hijiki seaweed is delicious. The bitter melon and carrot salad gives off a sense of meticulousness in how the carrots are cut. The miso soup is served in a bowl that is easy to hold and has a pleasant texture. The okra pieces floating in the center of the bowl make it look like, huh? Was the miso soup poured like this on purpose? Oh, what a wonderful attention to detail! The croquette main dish is soft with mashed pumpkin inside and crispy coating. Personally, one croquette is enough for me, but I don't want to leave any food on the plate. I asked for a small portion of rice, but it's still a lot... Hmm, I finished it all! The fried food feels heavy in my stomach, but I feel refreshed. This attention to detail. I learned about the owner's dedication to cooking by looking at the restaurant's website later. Even without reading this, I could tell from the restaurant's ambiance and the dishes I received. The attitude of the cook is reflected in the food, as I realized once again. This is a meal that satisfies not only the stomach but also the heart ♥ Besides the rice, they also have low-sugar sweets. They must be delicious. I'll definitely try them next time! Thank you for the meal ☆

From the direction of Daimyo, I went on the Kokutai-dori towards Keyaki Street, turned right at the intersection of Akasaka 2-chome towards Sakurazaka Station, and went down Hanamizuki Street. The restaurant was located in a hard-to-find spot between a beauty salon and a parking lot with signs. It was a trendy cafe-style place with about 15 seats, including a counter with about 5 seats, making it easy for even solo diners to enter. We chose set meals A and B, and decided on the meal by choosing whether to add dessert and a drink. My friend chose B, so I went with A. That day's set meal A was deep-fried tofu and simmered daikon, with a side of taro and lotus root stew, daikon and carrot vinegar dish, spinach salad, miso soup, and healthy rice. I'm not a fan of deep-fried tofu, but I didn't want to be seen as a man with no taste by choosing the same set meal as the woman who ordered first, so I reluctantly chose A. However, this choice turned out to be the right one. The deep-fried tofu was cooked in a way that eliminated its dryness and unique texture that I dislike, and it was surprisingly delicious. The salad with frilly lettuce and citrus dressing had a crispy texture and a refreshing acidity. The dessert, a low-chocolate tart, was not too sweet and easy for even men to enjoy with the persimmon sauce. Overall, the set meal, which used a variety of vegetables and was lightly seasoned, including the dessert, provided a "kind and rich meal experience," which I found to be human-like and somewhat luxurious.
