We decided to make a reservation for 11 people on the same day due to a strong request from a companion who really wanted to go there. It would have been better to reserve a course with all-you-can-drink the day before, but it couldn't be helped. The catch was quite good with 2 sea bream, 2 flounders, 4 horse mackerels, and 3 rounds of clam digging. It cost around 36,000 yen, so it wasn't incredibly expensive. This is a good restaurant to visit with a large group. The photo of the yam pickles on the menu was quite different from what was served, but that's okay. Thank you for the delicious meal. If I have the opportunity, I will come again!

The restaurant has a fishing pond where you can catch your own fish and have it cooked on the spot. We caught sea bream and had half of it served as sashimi and the other half grilled with salt. The horse mackerel was made into skewered cutlets. We also enjoyed skewered cutlets and dried squid, among other dishes. The appetizer of small fish and dried squid was cooked on a small stove right in front of us. The freshly caught fish was very delicious.

I didn't expect it to be this spacious. The fishing pond area is really large. The prices are considered high compared to other places in Shinsekai. Especially the drinks are more expensive than surrounding shops. They mainly offer seafood dishes, with some Shinsekai-style skewers added in. They recommend rice bowls for lunch, but it feels like they are trying to upsell you to higher-priced options, suggesting fishing even during the daytime.

Fishing was a big hit with the kids, turning it into a fun event! The fish you catch can be prepared as sushi or tempura. We visited around 5:00 pm during the Obon period and had no trouble getting a table in the spacious restaurant. The food was average, but the kids were thrilled with the fishing event.
Ordered items:
- One person drinking set (draft beer)
- Pickled cucumber
- Soft drinks
Fishing:
- Tai (sea bream) about 3,000 yen (tempura and sushi)
- Aji (horse mackerel) 2 fish for about 1,600 yen (skewers)
Total: 15,000 yen

An entertaining fish market where they cook the fish you catch on the spot. They have a wide variety of existing menu items, so it was really fun for children and families to go there. The only downside was that the beer was warm... If not for that... Well, it was during the Bon holiday period, so it was extremely crowded and unavoidable. Thank you for the meal.

I heard that you can go fishing for horse mackerel, so I brought my friends to the restaurant. I thought we would be using bait to catch the fish, but it was a hook type of fishing which was quite challenging. It was difficult to catch anything. For sea bream, we used a different type of fishing rod. The sea bream and striped horse mackerel swimming around looked beautiful. It was a bit disappointing, but we managed to catch some fish and had them as sashimi. It was nice to be able to experience fishing nearby, but I wish the fish were fresher. There were many staff members, but they didn't offer much information unless we asked. I don't think I'll be coming back again.

I harvested a lot of discount coupons and sweets, thinking it would be a waste not to use them (´^p^`) I'm a believer in low-carb diets, so I'm avoiding deep-fried skewers, but decided to visit this place for the first time♪♪ The interior of the restaurant is very spacious and easy to get in. You order through a self-order system using your mobile phone, which I'm not a big fan of. The dote-yaki was lukewarm, so I asked them to reheat it. I wondered why it was served lukewarm, haha. After paying, I realized I forgot to use the discount coupon and asked if I could redo the payment with the coupon, but was flatly refused... I won't be going back there anymore ╭( ᐛ )╮ Oh well... I gave the unused discount coupon to a family waiting to be seated. Fishing is not easy, but the taste is quite delicious! Besides sashimi, the rice dishes are also great. The seafood hot pot was especially delicious! However, the rolled omelette felt a bit frozen. The staff's service was good and the atmosphere of the restaurant was nice. It would be fun to go with family or as a couple!

A very spacious izakaya with a fishing area inside where you can catch fish like horse mackerel, flounder, and sea bream. It's difficult as there weren't many people catching fish. I went with six people, and one of them caught a flounder which we had as sashimi. The fresh flounder sashimi was excellent. We also had delicious skewers and grilled pork intestine.

I came to eat dinner! It's an interesting restaurant where you can fish inside. Fishing is quite difficult, but I think first-time visitors will enjoy it. I ordered sushi, but it took a while to arrive, which was disappointing. I had to ask the staff a couple of times before finally getting it just before leaving. It seemed like the staff were not well coordinated. The restaurant is big and has many staff members, so maybe it's difficult for them to coordinate. The seafood was delicious. It was fresh without any fishy smell. It was fun to grill some of the dishes myself.

My schedule ended up running later than expected, so I went to pick up my wife in Naniwa Ward. We decided to go to Shinsekai since it was nearby. However, by the time we arrived, it was past 9:00 PM and many restaurants were closing. We found a fishing-themed izakaya called Tsuriyoshi that was still open. We remembered enjoying our previous visit, so we decided to dine there. The staff informed us that last order was at 9:30 PM, but we were fine with that. We quickly ordered drinks and food and managed to finish before the deadline. The food was okay, with the cucumber pickles being a standout. However, the thick breading on the kushikatsu and the size of the shrimp in the grilled dish left something to be desired. Overall, our impression this time was different from our previous visit, and we plan to return to confirm our experience. Note: The constant opening and closing of the entrance made it quite cold near our table, so be cautious if you choose to sit there.

A cozy izakaya where you can eat the fish you catch. It's perfect for year-end and new year parties with fishing buddies when you can't go fishing easily, especially in the cold season. The seafood dishes were fresh and delicious, so it's also great for regular izakaya dining. Children and couples were also enjoying fishing, so it seems like a place where you can have fun in various situations.

I went to Osaka for business and decided to have some kushikatsu in Shinsekai. It was a Sunday and everywhere was packed with long lines. I found a restaurant with a fishing pond inside where you can catch your own fish. The fish I caught was delicious, but the other dishes were just okay. I wasn't impressed with the prices either, especially the 380 yen seating charge. The atmosphere was lacking and the service was subpar. I won't be returning to this place. Goodbye.

I was hoping for an entertainment experience where I could catch and have the fish cooked for me, but it was not quite as expected. The food was delicious, but it didn't fill me up and it cost us ten thousand yen for two people. If you catch a big fish, you have to eat it all, and if you have it cooked for you, it's expensive. When I tried to give the fish I caught to the staff, a new employee ran away and no one else came, so I ended up taking it to the kitchen and giving it to the staff myself. It's a shame because the food was delicious.

From noon, we went to a restaurant where you can enjoy fishing while overlooking Tsutenkaku. We took the children there after visiting Tennoji Zoo during summer vacation. The kids were thrilled to be able to easily enjoy fishing. Although it was a bit pricey, it was better than going to a fishing spot where the little ones can't catch anything. We all enjoyed having sushi and simmered sea bream for lunch. If I had to point out something, it would be that the staff could use better training. The red snapper carpaccio had quite a few bones, and the simmered dish still had scales on it, so the preparation could have been better. The concept is interesting, but it's a shame that not all the staff are professionals. I would rate it around 3.8 out of 5.

Hello~ After enjoying some decent yakiniku in Shinsekai, we headed to a izakaya where you can go fishing. When I mentioned it to my little one, he said, "I want to try fishing!" My daughter went fishing when she was little, but my son has never gone because he's been playing volleyball since first grade. "Alright, let's give it a try!" I thought. But there was a long line... My wife said, "I don't want to wait in line, let's go!" My son started crying... Oh well, can't do much about that. So, I told them, "I'll wait in line by myself. You guys go look at what you want! I'll call you when it's our turn!" Surprisingly, the line moved pretty quickly. Finally, I caught a horse mackerel! Now, what should we have it made into? My daughter chose tempura, and my son still can't eat raw fish. "It's so delicious!" my daughter said happily. She even offered me a bite of the fish she caught. It's the best seasoning, catching your own fish. My son kindly offered me a bite of his fish too. It was hot and freshly fried, but why is it so soggy? They must have fried it too quickly. It tastes terrible. This place is more like an amusement park than a restaurant. I wonder if my son is satisfied with his first fishing experience? Oh, there's a pigeon living on the sign outside. Thank you for reading. By the way, there are many reviewers who talk about "deep" places like Nishinari or Airin when eating in Shinsekai, but Shinsekai is just a tourist spot.

Children came back for Golden Week! I suggested going out to play with the three of us, but of course, it was rejected. As a last resort, I suggested Smart Ball, and my son got interested! We had fun exploring the new world, and then passed by a fishing spot. When I asked if they wanted to try fishing, they said yes! It was a rare family outing, so I loosened the purse strings a bit. We tried bait fishing (warning: your hands will smell like shrimp) but ended up switching to hook fishing. We caught a flounder quickly, but it took a while to catch a sea bream. We had the flounder and sea bream cooked half-and-half. The flounder tempura was the best, but the sea bream carpaccio was too salty. Since my son turned twenty last month, he tried his first alcoholic drink - a grapefruit chuhai. His review was "It tastes like weak grape juice." He didn't like the draft beer either, but he finished it all, blushing a bit. When we paid, the staff asked if we wanted the change in fish, and we said yes. It was a bit pricey, but overall, we had a great time. Thank you for the meal!

✔️Recommended Points:
- The style of catching fish and eating it on the spot is highly recommended for fishing enthusiasts!
- You can enjoy the freshly caught fish in various dishes like sashimi and sushi.
- The freshly caught fish is very fresh and delicious! The restaurant allows you to catch fish in their fishing pond and eat it on the spot. While fish like sea bream may be challenging to catch, the experience of eating freshly caught fish is truly delightful! *For those like me who are not good at fishing, the staff will help you catch the fish with a net. I have been there twice, and the second time I couldn't catch any fish at all, which made me feel like crying.

Japanese Amusement Fisherman's Restaurant! A unique experience that might make Westerners squeamish - fish heads that move and look like they're about to speak! But to us, they look fresh and delicious. Cultural differences sure are interesting.

We visited the restaurant with my wife, a 4-year-old child, a baby, and myself around 2:00 PM on a Sunday. Our eldest son loves fishing, so he was thrilled to see the fish in the aquarium! Just that made the visit worthwhile. However, the fishing didn't go as planned as the fish weren't biting the bait, so we ended up hooking the fish with a hook. It was a bit difficult for the small child to fish alone. They cooked the fish we caught right there, and our son ate more than usual with delight. The seating was in a tatami room, so it was nice to have a relaxed meal even with children. I would recommend this restaurant to families with children or those who are not experienced in fishing.

Deep in the city's new world, we discovered a lively restaurant and decided to dive in with some foodies. Upon entering the restaurant, we saw live fish swimming around the boat, which served as a sacrifice. You can catch fish and have them prepared as sashimi or tempura right there, making it an entertaining dining experience. Although Arima didn't catch anything, the rest of us caught plenty of tai and striped jack. We were grateful for the catch! We chose to have the tai grilled and as sashimi, and the striped jack as carpaccio and sashimi. The fish we caught together was incredibly delicious. In addition to the seafood, the restaurant had a wide variety of izakaya dishes, with the standout being the New World Roll - a crispy shrimp tempura rolled in sushi rice, which was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed our meal while watching the fish swim around, and it was a truly satisfying experience. Thank you for the delicious meal!
