This is a shop in the underground of Higashi Umeda. In the shop, you can see many items promoting Shiretoko in Hokkaido. It seems that the owner used to live in Shiretoko and is now expressing what they felt at that time in the shop. The owner is friendly and the atmosphere of the shop is very nice. First, the shop's signature dish, lamb chops, is not Genghis Khan, but delicious. It is tender and without any unpleasant smell. It disappears in no time, probably because it's so delicious or maybe because the portions are small. Definitely going for seconds. We also ordered the Okhotsk hokke, which was tasty. They have a good selection of fish dishes like fish from Lake Shikaribetsu. They even had Ezo deer. The pasta for the finishing touch was Genovese with smoked salmon. The balance of pasta and sauce was perfect, smoothly going into the stomach. The atmosphere was great with many regular customers engaging with the owner. It was a wonderful shop.

I wanted to drink craft beer and searched in Umeda, then this place came up and I was drawn to the lamb chops so I visited. It was amazing! The lamb chops and tangy pickles went well with the beer. The friendly master, who was running the place alone, seemed nice. I will definitely go back to have another lamb chop! ♥️

Bar Chops is a place where you can enjoy lamb chops and wine! Located about a 5-minute walk east from exit 6 of the Tanimachi Line's Higashi-Umeda Station. The cozy underground shop has a cute atmosphere with a large TV where you can enjoy watching Carp games during the season! They offer a variety of dishes made with carefully selected ingredients such as Ezo deer from Shiretoko, Shikoku's Shimanto pork, and Wakayama's Kishu Umadori. You can enjoy a wide range of dishes including brand meats and seafood from all over the country. They serve Heartland beer, about 30 types of wine (starting from 410 yen per glass, 2700 yen per bottle), and a selection of whiskies from Four Roses bourbon to Johnny Walker Black. They also offer courses with all-you-can-drink options starting from 3240 yen. The staff members are all friendly and provide detailed explanations of drinks and dishes, making the dining experience enjoyable. It's a wonderful place where you can watch sports, enjoy good value for money, and delicious food! Thank you for the meal! (^O^)/

It's been about a year since my last visit to this place! The decor inside the restaurant used to have very little red, but it seems like they are gradually adding more, so the day when the place is taken over by red decorations is getting closer! I started off with a beer as usual here, and of course, ordered the potato salad! The potatoes were roughly mashed with a light mayo dressing. As I mentioned before, the French dressing added a nice touch to the flavor. This is my second time this season, but if it's on the menu, I have to order it! It's absolutely delicious! Next up was the ham cutlet - I love this dish! It's just deep-fried thick-cut ham, but I really enjoy it. I also tried the venison from Shiretoko for the first time, and it had a good texture with no strong taste. It was quite tasty meat! It might go well with a highball. They also show baseball games on TV when the season starts, so I should come next year on a game day, enjoy a lamb chop, and cheer on the team!

Appearance, interior, atmosphere inside the store, features, etc. While bar hopping and looking for a second place to visit, I casually entered this place. It's about a 10-minute walk from Umeda Station. It's located in the basement of a building on the opposite side of Pachinko 123N Main Store near Izumi Square. There are Nankai Buffaloes dolls and photos, and as a baseball fan, I entered with a little excitement. The interior of the store had less than 10 seats at the counter, and I think there were about 5 or 6 tables. The owner talks in a loud voice, which is a bit funny.
Food:
Lemon Mojito 490 yen
Organic baby leaf green salad 480 yen
Lamb chops 880 yen
Shiretoko Venison Steak 1280 yen
Tokiwazushi Salt-grilled 1280 yen
Impression:
I couldn't resist ordering the lamb chops and the venison! They had no unique smell and the deliciousness of the lean meat was excellent. The owner cut the meat for us and made it easy to eat. Kind. And the salt-grilled dish! The way the fat was cooked was amazing, and the richness of the fat and the deliciousness of the meat attacked my taste buds! Delicious. Please enjoy the rare Hokkaido-sourced ingredients that are delivered directly to this place in Osaka!

I visited the restaurant without a reservation on a regular day and it was almost full, so making a reservation is better. The underground shop has a few counter seats and tightly packed table seats, where smoking is allowed and grilled dishes are served. They recommended the lamb chops. They also serve grilled meat dishes including game meat, seasonal vegetables, several appetizers, deer sausage, and scallop oil pasta. The lamb chops go well with beer, which includes craft beer and various bottled beers like Heartland. They also offer a variety of affordable wines. We ended up spending a little over 10,000 yen for drinks, enjoying the food and drinks. The place is filled with Carp goods, and we had a chat about baseball with the owner, who somewhat resembled Nagakawa-san. However, the other customers did not seem to be Carp fans. There were many regular customers. I would like to visit again for more baseball chats. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I visited this restaurant with a friend who lives in Kansai after watching the summer Koshien finals where Hoshino from Seiryo was hit hard. It was my birthday that day, which I just realized as I'm posting this, haha. We were hoping to catch a Carp game on TV, recommended by my friend's Carp fan group. We didn't have a reservation, but we were able to get counter seats facing the manager who looked like Nagakawa. Turns out, the manager was the same age as us. We had a great time chatting about Carp, Kinnikuman, and other common interests. The Smirnoff Lemonade for ¥490, Spanish omelette for ¥380, Avocado Cream Cheese for ¥380, and Lamb Chops for ¥880 were all delicious. I ended up on a Lamb Chop craze for a while after that. We also had Grilled Green Asparagus with Salt Oil for ¥480, Sausage (forgot the details), and Shiretoko Shrimp and Scallop Oil Pasta for ¥1,280.

This day, after climbing at the gym for the first time, we came here. Lamb is the best for post-workout meat, right? The interior of the restaurant is chic and suitable for a date. We ordered lamb chops (they cut it in advance for us since we were sharing), dried small fish, pickles, baked Camembert cheese, mushroom oil pickles, and Ezo deer Jingisukan. The lamb had no gamey taste and was cooked perfectly, goes well with alcohol. The Heartland beer here is only 390 yen, so the alcohol is also reasonably priced. The small fish was a first for me, but my companion, who used to live in Hokkaido, recommended it, so we ordered it. It was huge! It was so big that even my friend was surprised. The taste was light and similar to hatahata fish. The deer is always delicious without any gamey taste, but it doesn't really taste like game meat, right? We enjoyed our time here, snacking on various dishes, having some lamb, watching videos of Shiretoko, and sharing memories of touring. We will come back again. Thank you for the meal.

After leaving Salvacon, I headed to "Balchop" here. I had heard that this restaurant has a stylish atmosphere and the manager has a "red soul", so I was looking forward to visiting. The restaurant is located underground and doesn't have any "C" related posters or goods displayed, except for a duck figurine in the restroom. The manager's T-shirt hinted at the theme though, so I couldn't help but react a little (laughs). Now, I started with a beer here too! The appetizer was peanuts, but once I started eating them, I couldn't stop. I ate so much that I felt like I might start bleeding from my nose (laughs). I wanted to order the lamb chops, but I unexpectedly found an oden shop on the way to Balchop and ended up eating oden, so I ordered something lighter.
- Potato Salad: This was my third potato salad of the day (laughs). The potatoes were roughly mashed with a light mayonnaise flavor. The French dressing added a nice touch. The lettuce and tomato on the side made it feel like a proper salad.
- Fried Oysters: How could I resist ordering this when I saw it on the menu? Crisply fried and perfect with beer! So, I ordered another round (*´꒳`*). After having a few more beers, we decided to move on to a sake bar in the same building. I heard that they broadcast professional baseball games during the season, and it's okay to come dressed in team uniforms. So, I'll definitely be back next season!

The reviewer was taken to this restaurant by a colleague, so the review is modest. They are not a Carp fan but they like Hysta. They also like lamb meat and akasen. They like camembert cheese in moderate amounts. The hot ahihijo was delicious. The Mediterranean lemon chu-hai was surprisingly delicious. Above all, the consideration of the staff was excellent. The restaurant is not spacious, so it felt like being visited by six adult men for a closing drink. They were already full, so they ordered light alcohol, three lamb chops, garlic shrimp, a slightly grilled camembert cheese, and ahihijo. The staff kindly offered to add more bread for the ahihijo, even if it cost extra. This kind of consideration is worth paying for. The staff also cut the lamb chops and camembert cheese into portions for each person. This kind of consideration was pleasant. Members, especially those with a salesperson's mentality like today, are strict about mistakes but show respect when there is unexpected consideration, saying "I should learn from that." In that sense, it was a good restaurant. Additionally, the food and drinks were great and reasonably priced. Therefore, it became a favorite and they want to visit again privately.

Visited a bar in Hana Kin for the first time in East Umeda!! It was a bit confusing to find the store. It is a shop located underground. When you open the door to the underground, it is all about Hiroshima!!! All about the Carp!!! Especially during the game season, it seemed even more exciting, right? We had a drink and food around a round table with 4 people!! 1. Shiretoko venison steak (1280 yen) I didn't find venison very delicious because it had a strong smell, but the venison here had almost no smell and had a resilient texture... very easy to eat and delicious!! 2. Porcini-scented mushroom cream pasta (1280 yen) Quite a volume!! I love cream-based pasta, so it was a delicious dish!! The mushrooms were well mixed with the sauce and it was amazing. 3. Red tea duck roast (480 yen) Duck meat can be hit or miss. But the moderate fat spread in the mouth made it easy to eat and very delicious!! 4. Avocado cream cheese (380 yen) The point is the low price! The combination of avocado and cream cheese is the best! 5. Fully ripened tomato croquette (480 yen) A small croquette that is round and tastes like tomatoes, a new sensation croquette!! 6. Smoked salmon Genovese (780 yen) Why is the pasta so cheap!! In addition to cream pasta, Genovese was also delicious, and we ate a lot and were full. 7. Assorted appetizers (1280 yen) A variety of appetizers including quiche, duck meat, potato salad, and prosciutto, about 5 types of appetizers in a hearty assortment♪ 8. Onion steak (380 yen) BBQ sauce on onion steak!! It was sweet and very delicious. 9. Hiroshima Prefecture oyster fry (480 yen) I love oysters, oysters!! And Hiroshima oysters are luxurious~.. The flesh was large and very delicious!! I feel like I ate delicious food from various regions in one night. The waitress was very polite and the atmosphere was very comfortable in the store(´∀`)♪∝♪------------------------------------------♪∽♪∝♪[Location]■5 minutes from East Umeda (subway)■12 minutes from Osaka (JR)■15 minutes from Umeda (Hankyu)[Ease of Entry]◎(recommended) ★(easy to enter) ☆(difficult to enter)Lone male...☆ Multiple males...★Lone female...☆ Multiple females...★Couple...★ Mixed group...★Family...★[Customer Base]□Teens ■20s ■30s-40s ■50s-60s□70s and up □Foreigners □Tourists □Families[Nutrition]■Carbohydrates ■Protein ■Fat ■Dietary fiber□Vitamins □Minerals □Polyphenols[Others]□Scenery □Instagrammable □Private room □Semi-private room□Quiet atmosphere □Can stay long □Reservation required □Line up■Fun □Serving speed □Near the station♪∽♪∝♪------------------------------------------♪∽♪∝♪

Bar Chop is a cozy restaurant where you can enjoy lamb chops and wine while watching the Carp game. Located about a 5-minute walk east from Exit 6 of the Tanimachi Line, Higashi-Umeda Station. The small underground restaurant has a cute atmosphere with a big TV where you can watch the Carp games during the season. On this day, they were showing the Hiroshima Toyo Carp versus the Hanshin Tigers game at Mazda Stadium. The owner reserved the best seat in front of the TV for us, and we enjoyed the game and the food. The affordable course with all-you-can-drink for 3240 yen includes a tapas platter, fried oysters with olive oil (from Hiroshima), grilled saury (from Hokkaido), and the delicious lamb chops for an additional 890 yen. The menu offers a variety of dishes such as tapas, ajillo, robata dishes, grilled dishes, and smoked dishes. The lamb chops, grilled on high heat, are juicy and flavorful. They have a great selection of draft beer, glass wine, and whiskey, including cocktails. The staff is friendly and provides detailed explanations of the drinks and dishes. It's a wonderful place to watch the Carp game, with good value for money and delicious food. Cheers!

I often visit this place as my second stop for a drink and today I tried their oyster fry for the first time. The juicy oyster inside the crispy coating was amazing. Thank you as always for the great service! Thank you for the delicious meal!
We used the celebration party for our favorite baseball team's league victory as a celebration for a friend's wedding. The friendly owner and staff provided excellent service, and the food was incredibly delicious. They were accommodating to our requests and even prepared a thoughtful surprise gift for us. We had a great time in our red outfits, which are often frowned upon in Osaka. We will definitely visit again!

- Good Points:
- The food is undeniably delicious, and the pasta seems to have no misses.
- The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about wine.
- The Paul Star (barrel-limited sparkling wine/Sapporo beer) is sweet and tasty, appealing to fans of chu-hai and cocktails.
- Areas for Improvement:
- There are only smoking seats available.
- Being in the basement, the signal reception is poor.
- Other Information:
- The seating capacity is around 20 seats, and it would be best for private parties with around 20 people.
