A hidden gem of a yakitori restaurant. I've been to the Haruyoshi location a few times, and also visited the Hakata store. We made a reservation for early evening on a weekday and arrived around 7pm. The counter seats were full and the table seats were starting to fill up as well. We were supposed to get a special dessert if we became LINE friends when we were first seated, but both us and the staff forgot about it! The yakitori itself is not cheap, but each skewer was large and well-seasoned. The shiso-wrapped skewer was sweeter than expected, but everything else was really delicious and top-notch. They also have a good selection of side dishes, like sweet potato fries and sesame nanban, which were all very tasty. The interior decor and the hidden surprises like in the restroom added to the fun and cozy atmosphere. The staff were friendly and made the experience enjoyable.

It is in the basement of a building near the Sumiyoshi-dori 4-chome bus stop. When I started to go down the stairs, there was nothing in the basement except a sign saying "Lunch Service Available." I was puzzled as to where the entrance was, but then a black wall opened up like a ninja house revealing customers who had finished their meals. The daily special that day was fried oysters and white fish fry. I also like the lemon steak on Tuesdays and the grilled meat on Fridays. The standard menu here includes unlimited rice, pickles, and raw eggs, which is great. There is a corner in the restaurant where you can help yourself to raw eggs, three types of pickles, and a stir-fried meat-like dish. The rice can be refilled using a large rice cooker. I ordered the daily special of fried oysters and white fish fry for 780 yen (tax included). It came with a side of cold tofu and a hearty miso soup. The portion of rice was quite generous, so I didn't need a refill. The pickles included kelp, radish, and takana. The stir-fried meat-like dish was tough and didn't suit my taste. The main dish included a vegetable salad, spaghetti salad, tartar sauce, two pieces of white fish fry, and two pieces of fried oysters. I immediately made a rice bowl with raw egg. It was my first oyster of the year and I was very satisfied with the affordable price. The restaurant is located at 4-3-18 Hakata Station, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City. The restaurant's holidays are irregular, and lunch is only available on weekdays.

It comes with 2 pieces of fried chicken and a side dish (cold tofu). The miso soup is served in a large bowl with plenty of vegetables. In this chilly season, my body felt warm and cozy. The lunchtime was very relaxing. *Rice is free for refills. The atmosphere inside the shop is also nice, so I thought about going there at night as well.

It's a popular item, so it was already sold out when we arrived. The cabbage appetizer is a must at a yakitori place! Our orders were: - Pork belly - Enoki mushroom wrap - All-purpose onion wrap - Sesame amberjack skewers Each skewer is big so I shared some with my friends who came with me. When you pass through the ninja house, there is a yakitori restaurant! No sign - it looks very intriguing! The best was the maruchou (round intestine)!!! The hormone that melts in your mouth, oh so delicious. Also, the heart and liver were tasty. The super long pork belly was honestly just average in taste, so a normal size pork belly would be enough. If you want something Instagram-worthy, definitely try the shiso-wrapped pork. As for me, I think shiso-wrapped pork should be with salt, so I was a little disappointed with the sauce. Entered with a free-flowing course. Was told to start without waiting for latecomers. The restaurant was packed with customers. The skewer dishes were less satisfying than before. Overall satisfaction clearly decreased. On top of that, we were pressured to leave exactly after two hours. Everyone left without finishing their food. Unpleasant aftertaste. When asked at the reception, they said, "Because we have other customers waiting." I wonder if a restaurant that can't treat current customers well has a future... I found a popular shop nearby and visited it, but even though it was supposed to be in Building B1, there was nothing there and it seemed like a dead end. Finally, I was able to enter the shop safely. Inside, there were counter seats in a circular layout, as well as table seats, with a bright wooden interior. It was almost full, but there was one table available, so I was seated there. I ordered a beer for starters. The glass was cute. The menu featured yakitori, with the highlight being the Instagram-worthy 30-centimeter skewers. I ordered randomly, with prices ranging from 120 yen per skewer. When seated, a plate of cabbage was served as a starter. As each yakitori skewer was cooked, it was placed on the cabbage plate. The yakitori was carefully grilled and delicious! Especially the pork belly, which is said to be made from sterile pork raised in a clean environment. Next to my seat, there was a refrigerator...!? I thought, but it actually led to another room. The unique setup of the restaurant brought both surprise and fun. Since there are several branch stores in the city, it would be a good place for a second round or other gatherings.

A friend returned to Japan, so we all decided to gather and they requested to eat yakitori. We made a reservation and visited this place. We had trouble finding the restaurant at first, but eventually made it. We ordered the 3200 yen girls' night out course. From yakitori to the finishing dish and dessert, everything was delicious and we left feeling full.

Despite the crowded restaurant, the food and drinks were served smoothly. We had a group of 4 from Tokyo, 4 from the company baseball team, and 4 locals (rugby, soccer), and everyone was impressed. This was a big hit after a long time.
