Umeda, Samgyeopsal Bab✨ is a Korean izakaya located near Taiyu-ji Temple. It is a bit hard to find as it is on the 5th floor of a building. The interior is colorful and cute, with colorful walls, lights, tables, and chairs, making it a perfect setting for photos✨ When I visited after 5 pm, there was only one group of customers, but by 6 pm, it was full. I ordered Samgyeopsal for 2 people (1628 yen each), sherbet (280 yen), and a special daily cheesecake (680 yen). The Samgyeopsal set with 50 side dishes is all-you-can-eat for 2850 yen per person, and the all-you-can-drink option is 1100 yen (plus 550 yen on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays), so it's a great deal for those who can eat a lot. The Samgyeopsal comes with 5 types of sauce (sesame salt, ssamjang, garlic soy sauce, green onion salt, plum sauce) for you to enjoy with vegetables. There are also green chili peppers, sliced garlic, green onions, etc. available for you to wrap and eat together, allowing for different flavor combinations. The restaurant provides a box full of various vegetables, so you won't be lacking in vegetables. If you have leftover vegetables, they can make a smoothie for you❗️ Personally, I think this is a great idea for differentiating from other restaurants. This was my first time trying Samgyeopsal, and I didn't get tired of it at all with the variety of condiments and sauces available. The staff will cook the Samgyeopsal for you, making it very convenient, and they are all friendly, making the dining experience enjoyable. I recommend this place to those who want to experience a Korean atmosphere while in Japan✨
