A half & half 5-inch cake costs around 3,000 yen. It's a rare type of cake with half cream and half chocolate. The cream in the shape of a dog is cute ☺︎ The sponge is fluffy, but not soaked in syrup.

I found a weekly sweets shop in front of Keihan Katsuragiba Station that sells baked goods from the main store of Cha Noir. Cha Noir is well-known for its cute cat illustrations, and this time I bought the popular canned "Assort Crunch", the "Fluffy" cheesecake and chocolate, and the "Stick Cake". The red paper bag had a black cat illustration on it, clearly indicating Cha Noir. I opened the packages at home and tasted each one. - Assort Crunch: When I opened the red and white cans, I found silver-wrapped crunchy chocolates and strawberry crunches inside. The small chocolates and strawberries had a nice crunchy texture, followed by the delicious taste of melted chocolate and strawberries. Although it tends to get stuck in your teeth, it was so delicious that I couldn't stop eating. - Fluffy: This soft baked good was so delicate that it seemed like it could break if I held it in my hand. It was indeed fluffy, melting in my mouth without needing to chew much. The taste was similar to cheesecake, moist and delicious, without any mascarpone, which surprised me. - Stick Cake: This cake had a similar taste to Fluffy, but it was more moist and dense. It had a buttery flavor and was also delicious. Although the two cakes had a similar taste, the different textures made them interesting and enjoyable. Overall, the cakes were delicious, and even the Assort Crunch had various uses for the empty cans. When looking at the company overview on the website, I noticed that the president's name is the same as at Kokurayama Villa! Near Kyocera's factory in Ohori, there is a locally famous cake shop. I happened to visit while working nearby. The shop's exterior was cute, and the cakes displayed in the showcase were also adorable. I hesitated a bit, wondering if it was okay for a guy like me to buy such cute cakes. But well, I have a girly heart, so why not? I bought the Black Cat Chocolate Cake, Halloween Monster Cake, Black Cat Tiramisu, and Cheese Souffle. The Char Noir chocolate cake was a bit too sweet for me, but still quite tasty. The Halloween Monster cake had a mochi-like texture that made it a bit difficult to cut with a fork, but the taste was good. The Tiramisu and Cheese Souffle were both delicious. They weren't incredibly amazing, but considering the price was quite reasonable, I think it was a fair deal. These cakes would be great to bring to a house with small children.

I bought it because I saw it at various event venues. It was a set of fromage. It was described as a collection of cheesecakes, but the fromage one was just a regular souffle cheesecake. I didn't really like the white one... The chocolate one was the most delicious, but it didn't feel like a cheesecake... The price is reasonable, so it's easy to buy. I like cheesecakes, so when I eat it thinking it's a cheesecake... it feels a bit off haha. They also sell goods with a cat motif, and there are many cakes with a black cat theme. I won't be a repeat customer haha.

The main store allows you to enjoy coffee until 9 pm (last visit was in winter 2014), so when you want to have cake after an early dinner, I come by car because it's not that close, but I come here every few months when I want to relax quietly with a cup of tea. There seem to be other Chanoix Noir stores that stay open a bit later. It's located in a somewhat secluded residential area, so I was a bit lost at first. I haven't been to the store, but I found Shiro Noir at SweetsBox in the station and decided to take it home. I got the Shiro Noir and Black Cat Tiramisu, both featuring cute cat faces on them. The packaging, including the bag, box, and even the ice pack, was covered with cat designs. It's a cat lover's dream! Now, onto the cakes. The Shiro Noir has a chocolate coating on the outside and chocolate mousse inside. It might be perfect for chocolate lovers, but I found it a bit too sweet. The Black Cat Tiramisu, on the other hand, had a mild sweetness in the mascarpone on top, and the espresso at the bottom was pleasantly bitter, which I enjoyed. It comes in a cup, so you eat it like a pudding. If I come across different varieties at the station, I'll definitely try them out.

I had heard that the cream puffs were delicious. They were surprisingly large. The cream inside is really delicious. It's not just whipped cream or custard cream, it has a unique deliciousness. However, I didn't like the pastry. It's not crispy like a typical cream puff, it's more crumbly and dry. It falls apart easily while eating. Considering the price, it's a bit disappointing. But the cream makes up for it. The packaging is cute, and the ice pack has a cat logo. It would make a nice little gift.

The "Fuwa Fuwa" dessert, priced at 140 yen, has a texture that melts in your mouth like a soft chocolate. It's a mature taste with just the right amount of sweetness. I went to buy a cake near Christmas. This cake shop, with a black cat sign, seems to be the main store located in the center of Mark in Higashi-Osaka. I tried two types of cakes: a fruit-filled cake with sponge cake and a rich chocolate cake. Both were quite delicious. The sandwich-type cake also had delicious cream.
