A legendary restaurant in Osaka. It is extremely difficult to make a reservation at this place, and anyone who loves yakiniku will want to visit at least once. This small restaurant with only 8 seats is known for its "Osamuchan Theater," where meat and entertainment come together to captivate visitors nationwide. I visited the restaurant through a reservation made by an acquaintance. The restaurant is located quite far south in Osaka, near Hoho Station in Sakai City. On this day, the dinner was scheduled for 7:00 PM. They usually start the first seating around 4:30 PM on weekdays and have 2-3 seatings per day. I was impressed at how early they start taking in customers at 4:30 PM. They do not accept any new reservations. The restaurant has been around for about 20 years, and the owner used to work in the kitchen at other yakiniku restaurants. However, they transitioned to the customer service side due to their interesting character and became popular. That character is still evident today. The course is omakase (chef's choice). The food was delicious on this day as well! I visited at 7:00 PM on a regular night. I was looking forward to enjoying delicious yakiniku and entertainment. It's safe to say that everyone comes here to see Osamu-chan. I'm very satisfied to see Osamu-chan full of energy today. Thank you for the meal.

The "Osamuchan Theater" offers 2.5 hours of non-stop fun, starting with homemade unique kimchi, followed by fresh hormone and rare wagyu beef dishes in an omakase style. The menu includes a kimchi platter (featuring napa cabbage, okra, pickled scallions, cream cheese chocolate walnut, nagaimo, and apple), Yamagata beef appetizer, Kumamoto beef tongue sashimi and steak, Omi beef tenderloin, Miyazaki Chateaubriand, salad, Kumamoto beef skirt steak sashimi, rice x2, Senbon Suzi, Akasen, Taretan Chuu, Misuji yaki suki, shime kupa, and dessert.

On August 30, 2023, I visited Osamu-chan, a popular yakiniku restaurant in Osaka, for the first time thanks to an invitation. The restaurant is known for being difficult to get a reservation at, mainly for regular customers. It was really fun to see the "Osamu-chan Theater" live. All the meat is grilled for you, so customers can enjoy it in the best condition. The meat was delicious. We started with a variety of kimchi, including apple kimchi and cream cheese kimchi with walnuts. The Kumamoto beef tongue sashimi with sesame oil and wasabi was delicious. The steak of the tongue base from the same region was huge and tasty. We also had Omi beef skirt, Miyagi Shatoburian, Kumamoto beef harami, and more. The onigiri rice with meat sauce was a great way to finish the meal. The tan-nakamiso yaki was also flavorful. The grilled misuji and kuppah, a specialty at the restaurant, were delicious. The fruit platter for dessert was a nice touch. Osamu-chan was full of energy and made the experience even more enjoyable. Thank you for the invitation and the wonderful meal!

The master grills high-quality meat to perfection, leaving no room for disappointment. The only downsides are the slightly far distance from the station and the small interior space. Once you realize the highlight here is the master's performance, you'll want to come back again.

Dinner٩( ᐛ )و..... I had dinner with President Matsumoto of Guinness Momo, and we had "Osamu-chan"! This time, the special dish was a collaboration between Osamu-chan and Guinness Momo! Starting with Guinness Momo kimchi, followed by various beef dishes. The finale was Guinness Momo bibim noodles! It was incredibly delicious. Thank you, President Matsumoto, for the delicious peaches every year.

The location was like, "Huh!?" It was situated on a big street where I initially thought I had made a mistake. The homemade kimchi at the beginning of the course was incredibly delicious. The kimchi and tomatoes were both really tasty, indicating that the dining establishment was undoubtedly top-notch. The meat, including the tongue and skirt steak, was cooked to perfection, accompanied by enjoyable conversations with the staff and a glass of wine in hand. It turned into a fantastic night.

"The Tabelog Award 2023" bronze award-winning restaurant, Osamuchan! For those who are not familiar with it, Osamuchan is a legendary establishment. It's a tiny place, about 3 tatami mats in size, and not easily accessible from central Osaka. Despite this, it's always fully booked with regular customers, and getting a reservation as a new customer is nearly impossible. The fresh offal here will definitely surprise you with its difference from what you've had before. The quickest way to make a reservation is to find a regular customer of Osamuchan and have them bring you along. Utilize Instagram for this. The meat is always incredibly fresh and delicious, and on top of that, Osamuchan's humorous banter will keep you entertained. The "Chef's Choice Course" includes kimchi platter, Kagoshima hump, Kumamoto female tongue sashimi, tongue steak with plum and wasabi, Kagoshima Chateaubriand, Kagoshima tsumami sashimi with ponzu sauce, boiled tripe, Yamagata beef harami sashimi, white rice, tongue sauce, teppanyaki, and mini cuppa. Yesterday's dinner was at "Chihiro Kashiten" with Chihiro-san and "Osamu-chan"! We had the Komesupe (beef dish with various parts + mino hotpot) and it was incredibly delicious. Thank you Osamu-chan, Megu-chan, and everyone who joined us. For the second stop, we went to Ryukaken as per Charlie's request.

Last night's dinner with Mr. Kamon at "Osamuchan" was delicious! The rice special (featuring beef) was amazing. The beef tripe hot pot and the beef tendon stew were also fantastic. Thank you Osamuchan and Meguchan for the wonderful meal. And thank you to everyone who joined us.

Osamu-chan was a nice person. I was a little put off watching his videos, but after hearing why he did it, I understood. Osamu-chan and the female owner were fun, and their reactions were great. The meat was really good, they cook it just right. It felt more like watching a comedy act between a couple than just coming to eat meat. The parking lot fits 4 cars. It's located about 100m past Lawson on the left side.

#I'm sorry, Osamu-chan got drunk halfway through and couldn't take photos that looked appetizing. Please forgive me. The delicious meat and Osamu-chan's entertaining talk made for a fun dinner time. We had the chef's choice course, with various meats sourced from different regions. The menu included kimchi (made with cabbage, corn, strawberries, spinach, bamboo shoots, and eggplant), Olive beef A5 tongue sashimi (from Kagawa), Kumamoto beef tongue, Yamagata beef sirloin, beef tripe, and marinated beef tendon. We also enjoyed drinks like draft beer, shochu highball, lemon sour, makgeolli highball, and whiskey highball. Osamu-chan was a riot! Great food and great company made for a satisfying meal.

I was invited to a private party by a regular customer, and this was my second visit. The weather was warm for early March, with a pleasant breeze. The restaurant is located at 8-33-4 Hohokucho, Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture. It's about a 15-minute walk from Hoo Station on the JR line.
The restaurant has received The Tabelog Award 2023 Bronze and was selected as one of the top 100 barbecue restaurants in 2022. At the time of my visit, it had a Tabelog rating of 4.11.
The party started at 6 pm, with the host showing us various cuts of meat we would be enjoying that evening. We began with a toast of draft beer and were served a variety of dishes, including a unique assortment of kimchi, beef tongue sashimi, beef tongue with wasabi, beef tripe, chateaubriand, harami (skirt steak), salad, sirloin, and a hormone soup with various organ meats.
Each cut of meat was prepared and served in different ways, and the host entertained us with lively banter reminiscent of a comedy show. It was so much fun that I ended up drinking six highballs and two lemon sours!

Osamu-chan in Sakai City, Osaka, is a very famous yakiniku restaurant. It's a small shop located about a 12-minute walk from the station, with a cute red curtain sign. The interior is very clean and spotless, giving off a strong sense of cleanliness. We started with fruit kimchi, which was surprising and delicious with fresh strawberries and avocados. The kimchi seasoning was incredibly tasty! The Osamu-chan theater was fun, filled with laughter, and all the meat dishes were incredibly delicious. We had harami on freshly cooked, shiny white rice, which was so delicious that we could eat as many bowls as we wanted! The finishing soup was packed with plenty of hormone meat, and adding Korean chili to taste made it truly delicious until the end. Thank you for the wonderful meal during the private party we attended that day.

A lively yakiniku restaurant that feels more like a theater than just a place to eat. You can spend a fun and delicious 3 hours here. They serve super fresh horumon (offal) and top-quality wagyu beef, including rare brand horumon. The way they cut the beef tongue, harami (skirt steak), and hiuchi (diaphragm) is unique and the meat is incredibly tasty. Even the kimchi here is delicious, with various fruits and other ingredients mixed in. The staff's meat descriptions and funny jokes make for a great time. There are only 7 seats, so it's a premium experience. It can get smoky, so wearing glasses can help protect your eyes. Thanks for the meal!

It's about a 30-40 minute drive from Osaka city. What? What? I couldn't believe my eyes when I found this place! I heard rumors about the incredibly friendly chef and hostess, and they were chatting away the whole time. The meat was delicious, starting with the surprising kimchi that came out first - not just cabbage, but also persimmons, corn, oysters, and cream cheese. Just that alone made it worth spending an hour here. The meat, from tongue sashimi to grilled cuts like skirt steak, harami, and filet, was all so tasty. I had another amazing meal today! Osamu-chan's witty banter never fails to win over fans. The yakiniku served at the small counter, about 3 tatami mats in size, is incredibly delicious! The offal has no unpleasant smell at all, making it worth traveling a bit farther to visit this restaurant. I'll definitely make a reservation and go again next month!
