I stayed at Lavista Furano Hills for one night. Now it's breakfast time. It's nice that it's available from 6:30. Even if you stay without meals, you can use it for an additional 2,200 yen. It was great to have red vinegar rice, which was not available at Lavista Hakodate. Location ⇒ Within walking distance from Furano Station. Parking ⇒ Free. Lavista Hakodate is charged. Nearby supermarkets, convenience stores ⇒ There is a Lals (Arks group) nearby. There is a Seven-Eleven across the tracks (about a 5-minute walk). This time, I stayed with the "How Min War" package, which includes one night and two meals for 7,650 yen per person per room (including bathing tax). The "amount spent" refers to the cost of breakfast alone. There are no breakfast tickets, so inform the receptionist of your room number to enter. It is the same restaurant on the 1st floor as the dinner venue. You are given a card and can choose your seat. You are given a disposable plastic bag, choose your dishes... and so on. First, let's review what I ate. Rice: I chose red vinegar rice and made a self-service seafood bowl. The vinegar was just right. I was happy because there was no vinegar rice at Lavista Hakodate. Salmon: Unfortunately, one word. Lavista Hakodate didn't have the fatty texture, but this one had a good fatty texture. Tuna: Disappointing. Lavista Hakodate had bonito-like tuna, but here it was skipjack tuna maybe? When eaten with salmon, it was just right, but... Squid: Squid sōmen. Neither good nor bad. The impression is the same as Lavista Hakodate. I didn't eat it, but it's a hassle to peel the sweet shrimp yourself. It's frozen. If it was served peeled, I might have tried it. Herring kombu rolls, Matsumae pickles: Okay. Salad: The lettuce is from Asahikawa as stated. I chose shiso dressing from the four dressings, which was a good choice. It was delicious, so I had seconds. Ishikari hot pot: The salmon in it may be cheap, but it was delicious as a soup dish. Considering the strong seasoning of the miso soup from the night before, I was satisfied with this. Roast pork: You pour the sauce yourself, and it's quite delicious. When it comes to buffet-style meat, chicken is a staple, but being able to eat pork is great. And it's delicious! Pork belly grill: It's belly meat, but it's light and goes well with the leeks served with it. The roast pork is rich, but the pork belly grill is light, and both were delicious. Fried egg: I chose it to be slightly runny, and it was delicious! I was planning to have it with extra white rice as a fried egg bowl... but I was too full, so I ate it with the remaining vinegar rice and fried egg, and it was delicious. Seconds. Despite being full, I had a refreshing salad and a caramel pudding. The caramel pudding was quite authentic and delicious. Milk: I thought it might be delicious because it's from Furano, but... It wasn't my favorite kind of milk. It had a slight peculiar taste. Overall, I was satisfied, but the tuna was disappointing. ---------------------- Below are the items I remember being at the venue. Rice accompaniment corner: Herring kombu rolls, Matsumae pickles, squid salted fish roe, grated yam, komatsuna and shiitake salad, natto, pickled rapeseed, cucumber pickles, pickled plums Side dish corner: Grilled mackerel, grilled salmon, grilled scallops (with shells), roast pork Egg dishes: Fried egg, Spanish omelette, tamagoyaki Seafood corner: Fatty salmon, skipjack tuna, sweet shrimp with shells, salmon roe, squid sōmen
