March 2022. After a long time, I had dinner at "Ajisake Kamunabi" restaurant. I arrived a little early before the opening, so I went to the neighboring shop. I couldn't figure out the name of the shop from the sign, so I peeked inside through the glass. I saw baked goods and cakes lined up in the back, so I realized it was a patisserie and went in. I checked out the cakes, and they were all small and cute. This time, I bought three types to take home: "Ohana" for 529 yen, "Mont Blanc" for 388 yen (made with Tamba chestnuts), and "Gateau Fraise" for 518 yen. When I opened the box at home, I found that "Ohana" had landed upside down at a 180-degree angle. I accidentally carried it carelessly. I tried to restore it as much as possible, but it turned into a bubble slime-like state, so I gave up on uploading the image. Therefore, I refer to the photo I took inside the store for "Ohana." Now, let's dig in. The cream itself was very delicious, and although they looked small, they had a good amount of volume when actually eaten. I was quite satisfied. I stopped by a cute shop on a whim and the exterior was cute, and the interior was just as charming with the old folk house style. It was very soothing. The cakes were a perfect size and I devoured them! I couldn't try all the flavors, but I had the pistachio cake and the strawberry shortcake, which were not too sweet or too bland. They were as delightful in taste as they were in appearance! I also had orange and peach drinks, and the freshly made ones were delicious.

On Saturday and Sunday around 4:00 pm, it was bustling at the cake shop with a café. Located right in the middle of Tanimachi Yonchome Station and Tanimachi Rokuchome Station, a little off the main street in front of the park. The exterior is very stylish, with a Nordic natural and fashionable interior. There are plenty of dried flowers, which is quite soothing. The seating is limited, with a counter and a few tables. The focus is more on visual appeal than comfort. Since it was in the evening, there were few cakes in the showcase. - Bouvard 720 yen (excluding tax) Taste: 4.3 Visual: 3.8 Cuteness of tableware: 4.5 It was very delicious. The balance of slight acidity and sweetness was exquisite. I've always wanted to visit this shop, maiyan.coco. I wanted to try their strawberry cakes, but by the time I got there in the evening, they were probably sold out. I ended up ordering a tart pistachio and a blend of deep roasted coffee. They were small but delicious. The shop had a cozy atmosphere with dry flowers and potted plants.

I received some delicious chocolate cookies from this place before, so I wanted to try out the shop. It is located near Izumiya in Tanimachi 4-chome. There are about 10 types of cute cakes in the showcase. I got the "Yuki" cheesecake and the "Gateau Fraise" strawberry shortcake to go. The cakes are small and mostly priced in the 600 yen range. The "Yuki" cheesecake has blueberry jam in it. The "Gateau Fraise" has three layers with delicious whipped cream inside. The staff and the shop itself were cute! Thank you for the meal! ★

After lunch, I feel like having some tea♪ This place is usually crowded with a lot of people getting takeout, but today I was able to find a seat. It's a cozy little shop with a quaint atmosphere, almost like a townhouse-style knick-knack store. They have various baked goods displayed in the front, and cute cakes in the showcase at the back. The cakes are on the smaller side, so I decided to just get one. I chose the Gateau aux frais and a black tea. The total came to 1133 yen. I sat down at a table and waited for my order. The Gateau aux frais had a simple and elegant appearance, with a light dusting of powdered sugar on top. It had a smooth surface of whipped cream, with three layers of sponge cake inside, and fresh slices of strawberries with strawberry jam in between. The flavor of the whipped cream was really nice, not too sweet, and it was a delicate and delicious shortcake. The black tea had a scent similar to Marco Polo tea, but slightly different. Overall, I enjoyed the flavors. Thank you for the meal.

Visited during a public holiday opening hours. After I entered, there was one group for takeout and one group for dining in. The process was to choose the cake you want from the showcase, order at the counter. For dining in, you also order a drink at this time as it's a one drink per person rule. After ordering, you can choose any available seat. This time, I used the counter seat on the right end. The ordered items were brought to the table by the staff, and it was okay to leave them as is after finishing eating. Finally, settle the bill at the counter and leave. Couldn't decide on just one cake to eat, so boldly ordered two. For the drink, I asked for a hot café au lait (600 yen). - Strawberry Tart (486 yen) Bright red strawberries on top of whipped cream. Inside, there's custard cream and strawberry cream, balancing acidity and sweetness perfectly. - Pistachio Tart (550 yen) A combination of pistachio and amarena cherries. The pistachio flavor is rich, even incorporated into the tart base. The crunchy texture of the tart is great, with the acidity of the amarena cherries as an accent. In the end, I had no problem eating two cakes here (laughs). When I asked the staff about taking photos inside the store or of the showcase, they kindly agreed! There was only one other group dining in, so I was able to relax. The variety of baked goods on the shelves also seemed suitable for gifts.

This is also a neighborhood spot! It is located in a corner where old-fashioned eateries line up in front of Doza Park. They offer several very elegant art-like cakes. They also sell baked goods. This time, I ordered the strawberry shortcake! It was not like a whole cake cut in the image of a shortcake, but a cute cylindrical cake like a pudding! The cake was delicious with cream that was not too sweet!

Stylish appearance with a Japanese atmosphere, Bonbon Citron offers a refreshing scent of domestically grown lemons. The lemon cake has a fluffy and moist texture, and the jam cookies are delicious with the sweetness of the jam spreading in the mouth. The fresh cakes were beautifully displayed. Curry restaurant "Dalbert Shokudo" After lunch, I visited the nearby "Maiyan Coco" shop. It is a small and stylish cake shop next to the park. Inside, there is a display of baked goods, an eat-in space, and a showcase of fresh sweets at the back. This time, I had Gâteau Frais 450 yen and Americano 500 yen. The cake is served on a rectangular plate with two small chocolates. The cake is a white cylindrical shape with sliced strawberries on top, and the whipped cream is beautifully spread. It looks very nice and stylish! However, the taste is just like a standard shortcake with layers of sponge and cream, and strawberries. Despite its appearance, the taste is not very different from a regular shortcake. It's a bit disappointing... Maybe it's better to order a more unique flavored cake next time. Located just a few minutes' walk from Tanimachi Rokuchome Station, this cake shop near the park had caught my attention for a while, and I finally made my first visit. I ordered the ❤︎ ohana ¥450 (excluding tax) ❤︎ strawberry tart ¥480 (excluding tax) ❤︎ straight tea ¥550 (excluding tax). The cakes were reserved for me through the shop's Instagram DM. The ohana cake had a cute mini size with a rounded shape, consisting of ganache, mousse, and strawberry compote in three layers. The strawberry tart was made of whipped cream, custard, and strawberry jam. The fluffy cream and sweet strawberries were irresistible. I also enjoyed the sweet aroma of the straight tea. I'd like to try the Mont Blanc next time. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal. I'll definitely visit again.

I looked at Instagram and stopped by. As I was walking around the park, I came across a stylish little shop! As soon as I walked in, there were baked goods lined up. There was a cake showcase in the back. The cakes were small in size and reasonably priced, so you could buy a variety of them. I purchased Mont Blanc, pudding, and tart, and shared them with my friends. I had the Mont Blanc, which had a gentle and delicious taste. In the showcase of Ma Yan Coco in Yamanomachi 4-chome, there are adorable cakes lined up♡ You can also eat in, but this time I bought some baked goods that last longer. I purchased Galette Bretonne and Bouldeneige. Bouldeneige has a hint of cinnamon, making it slightly spicy and thicker at 3cm compared to regular snowballs! The Galette Bretonne, which is firmly baked, was also delicious (*´-`) Red tea cookies ◎, Jam sandwich cookies ○, Chocolate cookies ◎, Pistachio financiers ◎.

I saw Mai Levie-san and followers on Instagram go to this place and I definitely wanted to go there too! The cakes looked delicious and cute. I was able to make a reservation right away. It's located a short walk east from the Yatsu 5 intersection (with a pedestrian bridge as a landmark). The interior of the shop is a lovely space filled with the warmth of wood. There were many cakes in the showcase. They were smaller than I expected, about half the size of a regular cake, but you can try various kinds. The Tart Pistachio for 480 yen (excluding tax) was a must-try for me, so I had it reserved. The pistachio mousse on top was delicious with a subtle pistachio flavor. The tart part had cherries and pistachios baked into it, giving it a crispy texture. However, I didn't really like the berry sauce with alcohol in between. I'm sorry, it's just my personal preference. The Tart au Pomme Pomme for 420 yen (excluding tax) is an apple tart. The stewed apples were gooey and tasty. The crumble and cookie at the bottom were delicious. The Millefeuille for 380 yen (excluding tax) had a fluffy and creamy cheesecake part. I wanted to eat more of this. The base had a crumbly texture like a cookie. The Blueberry Chocolat Amer for 420 yen (excluding tax) had a strong orange acidity in the mousse. It seemed normal at first, but the texture of the chocolate at the bottom was exquisite. It was softer than a cookie but not as hard as chocolate... it was like a soft chocolate texture. It's labeled as a terrine on the plate. Yes, it's a terrine. I love this place. There were also many cookies and baked goods displayed, and I wanted to try them all. Since it's a cake shop, it's understandable that it's not a relaxing concept, but it was a bit tough sitting on a high chair without a backrest. Thank you for the meal.

A cute new shop has opened right next to Goya Roku-chome, near Uchikuboji Ni-chome and Sushi Sanshin. They also have a café where you can dine in. The cakes are all adorable, and the apple tart was especially delicious.

I arrived at 11:50 and no one was there~ I felt relieved and waited in the park in front of the shop, but people passing by kept stopping in front of the shop, so I waited in front of the shop until 12:00 (laughs) As soon as the shop opened, I entered the shop and muttered to myself in a small voice, "This shop is really nice♪" (laughs) I ordered 3 items from the showcase and a drink, paid, and chose my favorite seat... Anyway, this shop is really nice♬ The interior, display, atmosphere, it's very tasteful. Modern and stylish shops are nice too, but this place has a completely different vibe that I like♪ The cakes are delicious too~ They all have a good balance of acidity, and the tarts have different textures and are delicious~ The fruity Bijou Mango is perfect for this season♪ The taste, color, size, and elegant feel of these cakes match perfectly with the shop and the staff. Is it natural or intentional? If they serve the drinks in normal glasses or cups, it would be perfect!! When I asked before leaving, they said there is no waiting outside for now.
