The amazing restaurant has a selection of 80 different types of Japanese sake. The food, centered around seafood, is also plentiful. I had a platter of 5 kinds of sashimi, beef tataki, a platter of 5 kinds of tempura, mentaiko tempura, kisu tempura, dashimaki tamago, scallop butteryaki, and salmon ikura donburi, among others. The presentation of the dishes was elaborate and impressive, with the sashimi platter and beef tataki being especially delicious. The tempura platter included shrimp x2, chikuwa, eggplant, chicken, and shiitake mushrooms, with the chicken tempura being exceptionally tasty. The large, fluffy dashimaki tamago, the delicious scallop butteryaki, and the beautifully presented salmon ikura donburi were all very satisfying. In terms of drinks, there was a variety of options including beer, but the highlight was the sake. The lineup was incredible, with each brand accompanied by explanations of origin, flavor, and a ranking of dryness level. I ordered a few based on this information, trying the driest (Fudo) and sweetest (Sanki Cloudy) options. I found that I could easily enjoy the sweetest one as I already like cloudy sake, and the driest one was also surprisingly delicious. In the end, I realized that I can enjoy any type of sake. They also offer a sake all-you-can-drink option for 2700 yen, which I think would be paradise for sake lovers. The location of the restaurant is very convenient, right near HEP, and I look forward to going back to compare more types of sake.
