Lunch. It was even more delicious than I expected. I ordered the fillet steak set, and I was surprised to find out that the beef was domestically sourced instead of imported. It didn't seem frozen, it had a fresh taste. They seem to focus on Matsusaka and Omi beef. Not just the meat, but the sauce was also delicious. Perfect balance. The rice had a unique seasoning that went well with the meal. There were decorations with Mongol 800's signature. Young people nowadays probably wouldn't get the reference to Mongol 800, but older folks would understand. The service was great.

Beef tendon and grated yam bowl for lunch! Found this place by chance and was drawn to the limited beef tendon and grated yam bowl for lunch. They also had other options like beef rice bowl and harami (skirt steak) bowl. The beef tendon and rice combination is not something you eat every day, but it was delicious, especially with the grated yam on top. It also came with dashi (broth) for making ochazuke (tea poured over rice). It was great for changing up the flavors. The salad and tofu that came with it made it a good value restaurant! Thank you for the meal.

When I feel like having a meaty lunch, I often come to this place. On this day, I ordered the tender Harami beef bowl. The sweet and savory sauce that goes well with rice and the tender, meaty Harami beef are amazing. I also ordered a side of Ochazuke, which is also delicious. This is a recommended place for when you crave a meaty lunch.

I used it for lunch during my business trip to Osaka. I ordered beef rice bowl, which seems to be eaten with a change of taste like hitsumabushi by adding broth. You can choose between Japanese-style broth and beef broth. I chose Japanese-style broth, but hmm, I prefer it without adding broth. The price is also reasonable, so it seems to be an option for business trips to Omiya for now.

I went to the restaurant after being called in. They serve beef hittsumabushi style, which sounded delicious. The place quickly became crowded, but since it's a yakiniku restaurant, the seats were spacious and comfortable. I ordered the beef bowl, which is essentially a beef donburi. You eat it like hittsumabushi, where you eat about half and then mix it with broth in a separate bowl. The broth options were bonito dashi or beef dashi, and I chose the recommended beef dashi. The broth itself was delicious, so it's best to mix it in well. Personally, I thought it tasted better when eaten as a regular beef bowl without diluting it. The side dish was like namul, a type of Korean seasoned vegetable. I prefer pickled vegetables as a side dish. Also, it was a bit disappointing to have water served in a chuhai glass, given the location.

Located a 5-minute walk from Kitashinchi Station. I used to pass by here every day, so I decided to treat myself to a luxurious lunch here after a long time. The entrance is decorated with many autographed signboards. I was guided to a spacious table seat where I could see the garden. Each bento box comes with a choice of "beef dashi" or "Japanese dashi," and you can enjoy it hittsumabushi-style. I chose the lightly recommended "Japanese dashi" and had the "Black Wagyu Steak Bento with Extra Rice." After ordering, it arrived in about 10 minutes. First, I tried it as it is! The Black Wagyu steak is very tender and delicate, almost melt-in-your-mouth. The exquisite sweet sauce, perfectly cooked rice, chopped seaweed, and Wagyu beef combine to create an irresistible umami flavor. Next, I mixed it with the egg. The sweetness of the sauce adds a rounded flavor, and it's also delicious. Midway through, the small plates of radish, carrot, and fern sprout namul are a nice touch! Then, I transferred it to a bowl, poured Japanese dashi over it, and enjoyed it... The rich katsuobushi and kombu Japanese dashi enhance the umami of the Black Wagyu beef, leaving a refreshing yet superb aftertaste that made me smile unintentionally. This is incredibly delicious!!! Adding wasabi elevates it to another level... ♡ At 1,850 yen for lunch, it may be a luxury, but it is definitely worth it! The sweetness of the meat itself, the juiciness, and the lingering taste when combined with the dashi are irresistible and just perfect.

Visited for the first time for lunch! Ordered the tender harami beef bowl! Ate it in the style of hitsumabushi, following the instructions on how to eat it! First, ate the meat as it is! Then, crushed the egg and mixed it with the meat and rice! Finally, poured the broth over it! The broth could be chosen from two types and was very delicious! I chose the Japanese-style broth, which I believe was a tail soup. It was light and tasty! I want to visit again to try the other types!

I used it for lunch. The staff recommended the black wagyu steak set, and I splurged a bit. As soon as it arrived, my excitement rose. The meat was tender, the sauce was rich, and the rice went well with it. I finished by pouring dashi broth over it, and it was a satisfying lunch. 😄

In Osaka Kita-Shinchi, there is a yakiniku restaurant called Kurudo. During the early lunch hours, the staff were calling out to passersby and I couldn't resist going in. The restaurant is located on the 5th floor of a building. This time, I ordered the steak bowl made with black wagyu beef. The meat seemed to be using ribeye. I tried it right away and was surprised by how marbled the meat was. It was so tender that I could eat it without chewing much. The bowl had a unique twist, where you eat it like a hitsumabushi with a choice of Japanese-style soup or beef soup. I decided to challenge the beef soup this time. Eating it hitsumabushi-style with wasabi was truly delicious. Towards the end, the richness of the marbled meat was a bit overwhelming and I felt like I might get heartburn. It was really delicious. Thank you for the meal!

After a long time, I went to a recommended yakiniku restaurant with my meat-loving colleagues, but unfortunately it was closed due to the state of emergency. So, we decided to try Yakiniku Kurado instead. Located on the 6th floor of the Yoshimoto Building in Kitashinchi, near ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel. We had to wait for a table as it was full, so we looked at the menu while waiting. The lunch menu includes options like beef cutlet set, steak bowl, and pork loin set. I decided to try the pork loin set with 200g, which was served with a sweet Western sauce and a side of spicy mustard. The meat was tender and delicious, and the shredded cabbage was a refreshing touch. The meal also came with tofu, miso soup, rice, and a raw egg to make tamago kake gohan. Overall, it was a satisfying meal and I look forward to trying their yakiniku lunch set next time.

Yakiniku Kurouto in Kitashinchi. All about tongue. Thick-sliced tongue, salted tongue, tongue kalbi, tongue tip, etc. The visual impact is quite something. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is quite open and there were group customers, so it didn't feel very calm, but the meat was delicious.

I went to a yakiniku restaurant in Kitashinchi and had beef cutlet~. Just hearing about a yakiniku restaurant in Kitashinchi gives the impression of being high-class and intimidating, but the restaurant itself is very approachable. However, when the elevator door opened and I saw the open door of the shop, I was surprised to make eye contact with the staff all of a sudden, haha. There are many signed autographs displayed at the entrance. I glanced at them and entered the restaurant to a table with a smokeless roaster. The water served was in a Suntory jug! I drink a lot of water, so I'm happy when it comes in a jug ^ - ^ Now, the menu. Of course, there are yakiniku options like loin, skirt, and mix. The meat options are 100g → 1,000 yen, 150g → 1,450 yen, 200g → 1,850 yen, and the black wagyu set meal only costs 1,520 yen. Other options include: ・Horumon udon set meal 880 yen ・Ton teki set meal 200g 880 yen ・Chicken nanban set meal 880 yen ・Steak bowl 900 yen ・Beef cutlet set meal 1,000 yen ・Beef tendon mapo tofu set meal 880 yen Rice can be refilled for free, and for lunch, raw eggs are also free to eat as much as you want! For those of you looking forward to Osaka reviews, here is one for you! Starting with a barbecue-related review, I visited a place in Kita-Shinchi. Recently, when it comes to lunch in Osaka, I always end up coming here. At first, I was thinking of going to a steak and hamburger set shop, but I had eaten quite a bit earlier at another place, so I wasn't very hungry. I remembered a place I wanted to try before, a barbecue restaurant called Yakiniku Kurudo. I decided to go there as they serve lunch starting from 100g. I took the elevator to the 6th floor, and the restaurant was right in front of me. I was seated at a table near the entrance and ordered the mixed set (sirloin and skirt steak). The meat arrived, and although it looked like a small portion, it was incredibly tender and delicious. I also had it with a raw egg, making it even more enjoyable. The price was very reasonable at 1000 yen including tax. The service from the staff was also excellent. I highly recommend ordering barbecue when you visit this place, as other menu items may not be as well-received. This was an experience from the second day of my Osaka tour in February.

I discovered a new lunch spot in Kitashinchi called Yakiniku Kurudo, where you can enjoy crystal-grilled samgyeopsal and Tteokguk as well. Located near ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel on Funakoshidori in Dojima Avanza Minami, on the 6th floor of the Yoshimoto Building in Kitashinchi. The elevator takes you to a chic black door where you can find the identification numbers of the black wagyu and lamb of the day. The popular option seems to be the all-you-can-drink party course. The interior is filled with signs, and the spacious table layout allows for a relaxing yakiniku experience. I arrived just in time for the last lunch order at 1:30 pm and had a 4-person table to myself. The lunch menu offers options like Horumon Udon Set for 880 yen, and Ton teki set for 880 yen (200g), 1150 yen (300g), 1400 yen (400g). Other options include Gyukatsu set for 1000 yen, Chicken Nanban set for 880 yen, Healthy Steak Don for 900 yen, and Gyu suji mapo tofu set for 880 yen. The meal comes with unlimited raw eggs, and I tried the popular Gyukatsu set. The thin breaded Gyukatsu was served with wasabi soy sauce, sauce, and ponzu for dipping, along with free raw eggs. The side dish was bean sprouts, rice, and miso soup, and I enjoyed it with a raw egg. The meat was slightly tough and lacked flavor, but the cozy atmosphere and the ability to enjoy Gyukatsu and TKG made it a great value. I'm curious about trying the Sichuan-style Gyu suji mapo tofu set next time and would like to visit with a group at night. Thank you for the meal.

I visited this restaurant for the first time with my wife for lunch and had the beef cutlet set meal. They asked if I wanted a raw egg, so I had it with the meal. I think it was meant for egg over rice, but my wife was satisfied with it. Personally, fried food is a bit heavy for me, but my wife enjoyed it.

Today it's raining, so going out for lunch is a bit of a hassle... But those are the times when I recommend Yakiniku Kurouto! It's a bit hard to find on the 6th floor of a building, and there's usually a wait of at least 10 minutes to get in. However, for some reason, on rainy days, you can get in right away. I went there immediately and luckily didn't have to wait! We ordered different dishes - beef cutlet, steak, pork tongue, and chicken nanban... The taste, appearance, and price are all top-notch! I don't think anyone would have any complaints. Let's try to aim for another rainy day ^_^
