I went to visit the Asahi Beer factory. I went last fall for the first time and had a lot of fun, so I decided to go again! It was fully booked, but there was one spot available for this day and time. Last year it was free, but now they charge 1000 yen! 1000 yen for two beers. It doesn't seem like a great deal, but you can only drink freshly made beer here. When I visited, there were some changes from last time, and they even gave me a souvenir on the way out. I wonder if I got my money's worth with the 1000 yen. It ended at 12:30. The factory is in Suita. I was looking for a place to eat nearby, but today is the high school baseball finals. There's also the Hanshin vs. Yokohama game at 2:00. I didn't have time to look for a place, so I just took the train to Umeda. I decided to go to "Takagi Sengyo-ten" that I've been curious about for a while. It's located in the station, so I didn't have to exit the ticket gate. But on the other hand, you can only eat there if you take the train. I was debating between a bowl or sushi... and I chose a bowl today. When I entered the store, there was a takeaway corner and a counter in the back. There were about 7 seats at the counter. I ordered the "Seafood Bowl" for 890 yen (excluding tax). There were many types of bowls, so I was quite indecisive, but since it was my first time there, I went with the classic option. You can choose from large, medium, or small rice, and vinegar rice or white rice. I chose small rice and white rice. I wondered what vinegar rice in a bowl would be like. I wanted to have a drink, but I already had two beers earlier, so I refrained. Inside the counter, there was only one chef? I thought I might have to wait, but the bowl came out quickly. Wow, it looks amazing. Various types of fish were on top. Conger eel, squid, shrimp, sea bream, tuna, salmon... The fish looked fresh. I was happy to see lots of ginger. If there are so many toppings, I should have chosen medium rice. It was delicious. Just as I was enjoying my meal, the miso soup arrived with a "Sorry for the delay." The miso soup had a small amount of seaweed in red dashi. The man next to me ordered sushi a la carte. That's also a good choice. I'm curious about the "Yorimichi Set" for 990 yen starting at 5:00. I wonder what kind of sake they have. However, more and more customers started coming in, and the place quickly became full. Even the standing area was full. It's a busy Saturday. I had good timing. The location at the station must be great. I would like to visit this restaurant again if I have to take the Hankyu train.
